Dr. Royzner did two root canals on me in one appointment and did so with the least amount of discomfort and consummate professionalism. The area where the roots attached to my jaw were badly infected and he managed to save both my teeth. My previous endodontist also did two root canals and the price that they quoted me for out of pocket with insurance was $1,000-$1,030 depending upon whether they had to take an X-ray or not. They ended up charging me over $1,800! (No wonder almost 25% of their reviews are one star!) At this practice I had the two root canals and they quoted me an out of pocket cost (with the same dental insurance mind you) of $1,000. That is exactly what they charged. Highly recommended!

Since then I have been working with a couple of top-tier Periodontists that are significantly more expensive to try and repair the damage, and the experience has been a lot better. Unfortunately, the repairs so far have cost nearly $18k, and I have another repair surgery scheduled for next month which will cost another $8k. Bottom line - based on other reviews, I thought I was going to be in good hands, but please do your due diligence. It has been a long and awful journey. I hope others don't have the same experience.

My primary dentist sent me to an endodontist to treat the problem which they felt was a root canal. But the endodontist said that after reviewing a full set of x-rays on the area in question said there was no problem that a root canal would solve. He referred me to a different endodontist for a second opinion who had the same conclusion. However, he routed me to a different endodontist who agreed to do the root canal but warned me that he wasn't sure that it would relieve me of the constant pain I was having. Fortunately, someone suggested Dr Panzarino to me and I went to see him prior to going to have the root canal. Dr. Panzarino also said that I did not need a root canal and suggested that my problem could be neurological not dental and that I should see a neurologist before getting any dental work done. I followed his advice, and he was 100% correct. A neurologist solved my problem, Dr Panzarino saved me from unnecessary and unsuccessful dental work and who knows how many more months of pain and uncertainty. I am so thankful that after going through 5 members of the dental profession, always getting the wrong answer, Dr Panzarino was there for me.

They have gatekeepers here that are very strong on the hard upsell. Dr weirtheim has been my dentist but he seems to be ruled by the sales people in the office. Gone there for an emergency cap fell out ( as they always do not sure if it's the inferior cement they use or the dentist techniques), but he was not working and the office sales people come to you as your sitting in the dentist chair trying to tell me I need to go to oral surgeon and have it extracted then implant. Nonsense , so I made another appointment with my dentist (weirtheim) and he cemeted it back in in 45 seconds. This exact scenario happened 2 times. The last time I was so aggravated I got up out of the chair and left. The whole staff was being confrontational with me and refused to give me my records. I've repeatedly called and asked to speak to the dentist and explain what a nightmare I had with the office staff, but he refused repeatedly to even call back a long time patient. Despite years of Invisalign, multiple bite guards, and countless visits to different dentists, things only got worse. My condition was never taken seriously. Room-temperature water hurt to drink. Even slightly cool air hurt to breathe. I felt hopeless and believed I would live in pain forever. Thankfully I was recommended to Dr. Aydin and Dr. Mossad's clinic and listening to them was the best decision I ever made. Where most dentists dismissed my pain or insinuated that I was dramatic - Nyman/Monica did the opposite - they listened and respected my concerns while remaining objective in their clinical analysis. After much deliberation and several consultations, it was agreed that my teeth were not in a state that was recoverable by normal means and that the only real solution was a full mouth rehab. It was refreshing to see them take all options into consideration and recommend the correct choice - not what was easiest for me to avoid scaring me away or what made them the most money. Despite knowing this was the only real solution I was still terrified. I have the most sensitive teeth on the planet so the prospect of crowns on almost every tooth was so scary I was paralyzed by fear. Now most dentists would find patients like me difficult... but the level of care/empathy Dr. Aydin/Mossad provided helped me conquer that fear and even gave me hope. Hope to live a life without pain, something I had given up on.
