I was super-careful to repeatedly confirm the exact total cost of having two skin tags removed, $200. I made sure there would no other costs would be added. They did it on May 1st. I paid $200 by check, they accepted that, and I left. Then I got an email saying I owe an extra $150 for "consultation". I objected by email that I had already confirmed the total all-in charge, and they agreed to drop the extra $150. Nonetheless, yesterday (May 18) I got a bill for that $150 in the mail. I emailed again and again they said they would drop that charge. I don't believe them anymore. read more

WARNING. BUYER BEWARE. This practice is a money grab, not legitimate dermatological care. A friend recommended Dr. Audrey Fitch, saying I could ask her about anything I needed and she'd handle it in-office, so I booked an appointment for a new patient exam, and mentioned that I also needed a skin tag removed. I waited 2 mos for that appt. I was genuinely excited for the appt, since I had a number of concerns, and was told she was very thorough. However, far from that, Dr. Fitch walked in late, looked at the skin tag, froze it (all of 3min), and said, "Okay, we're done." I stopped her and told her I was a new patient, and was there for and had booked a full exam, not just a skin tag removal. She told me that was not what was booked, and she was sorry, but we couldn't do that--she said it was only a 15min appointment. (Though I had been crystal clear at booking). After I pressed--she did a rushed upper-body glance, said everything "looked fine," and told me o book another appointment for the lower body or if I wanted to discuss anything further. Shocked and disappointed, I headed to the front counter, where I was charged $90 co-pay + $190 for the skin tag removal for the 6min interaction. At the front desk, as instructed, I told them I needed more than 15min next time to complete the new patient exam and that I wanted time to discuss other concerns. I mentioned concerns with my aging face (a spot of sun damage I wanted lasered). The receptionist shifted gears when I said "aging", and said "Oh, you need a cosmetic consultation..." That "cosmetic consult" cost $500, paid upfront, non-refundable, and she assured this would give me time to discuss multiple issues. I agreed, thinking the price was steep, but would allow me to discuss my concerns. Another two months passed. When I arrived, I was immediately surprised that they hit me with another $90 co-pay--on top of the $500 I'd paid--charged separately for the "lower-body exam". (So now I was double-paying for for this appointment.) The appointment itself was absurd. I spent hours in advance preparing a detailed list of concerns--far more time than I would spend with Dr. Fitch. She glanced at my legs, nodded when I pointed out a couple of things, gave no feedback. Then she asked what "cosmetic things" I wanted to talk about. I said, "It's not all cosmetic--I just have a number of concerns." She pressed me to pick one issue, so I said I'd "start at the top" and mentioned hair issues. She said, "hair can sometimes be a full appointment in and of itself-do you want to talk about that?" I told her it was among the issues and she repeated, "do you want to talk about that?" And I said yes--it wasn't the main issue, so I didn't expect it would take long (and it didn't). She barely looked at my scalp, then asked me if I was stressed, and told me to get lab work with my primary care physician to figure out the issue. Then, literally 7min into the appt, she stood up and said, "Thanks for coming." I was shocked. I started to go on, to ask any other issues, but she cut me off and said, "We only do one issue per visit. Appointments are 15 minutes." I said, "But we're not even 15min in. Can we at least talk about my nail issue (one I had pointed out to her during the lower body exam)?" She cut me off, and said, "No. Only one issue per appointment. Sorry if you're unsatisfied," and walked out. In short, I was charged $870, for fewer than 20 minutes with the doctor, spread over two visits (after months of waiting). And for that, I got 1 cursory skin-tag removal, a lot of attitude, and no answers--I wasn't even allowed to ask my questions. I never even got the chance to mention the main reason I booked in the 1st place--a sunspot--because I wasn't given opportunity to bring it up. (NOTE: Per Dr. Fitch, ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE CAPPED AT 15MIN, and apparently we should know this.) Well at 15min per appointment and $100/minute, I'm not that foolish. When I left, the receptionist had the gaul to ask, "Would you like to book your next appointment?" Absolutely not. Save your time, money, and frustration. Go to a dermatologist who actually examines patients and cares about resolving concerns, not padding their billing system. This office runs on nickel-and-dime tactics, not genuine patient care. From what I can see in these reviews, people who had been coming here a long time continue to get good service, but across the board, they treat new patients like garbage. It's sad to see a great business decline, but something must have happened. They are clearly understaffed and uninterested in building new relationships. If they ever had any concern for human beings, it's long gone. I'm disgusted and disappointed. read more

I have had excellent care from Dr. Fetch. Her full body examination for signs of skin cancers is the most complete I have ever had. Not only does she exam and biopsy concerning growths but she also photographs and notes areas that should be monitored for future examination. In two situations I was diagnosed with some basil cell carcinomas and Dr. Fetch wanted to make sure all the affected cells were identified and removed. She recommended Mohs Procedures and further recommended a specialist that would do the most complete job with the least amount of collateral damage. Our family would highly recommend her. read more

I grew up in the Southern California sun and never took precautions, with the result that I am now suffering the consequences. In the face of this situation, Dr. Fetch has been extremely thorough in her examinations and thoughtful in her treatments, providing me with many options for addressing these issues. I particularly appreciate her help implementing constructive behavioral changes which have had a significant impact on my situation. This is a review of my experience with Dr. Fetch. This was from a few years ago, but I still remember it and thought to share my experience. Was in for a visit and at the end of the appointment I thought to ask about eye creams for my dark circles. Her first response was a decisive 'no', that those creams don't work. As she's leaving she turns around and says 'Actually, some creams can work, but only if they have caffeine in them!' You wouldn't believe my luck when she next told me that they happened to sell such a cream for the low cost of a $100 there!! This is unethical and dishonest. -200/10 read more

Dr. Fetch is very thorough and has excellent bedside manner. She was incredibly warm and professional during my appointment. She answered all of my questions regarding my concerns about rosacea, melasma, and provided helpful information about which topicals were best for my skin. I so appreciated that she took her time during the exam to ensure that each of my concerns were addressed. Dr. Fetch is also extremely talented when it comes to injectable's. It was by far the best botox I have ever received. She addressed the asymmetry of my eyebrows and took the time to explain why she was injecting in some areas and not others. Dr. Fetch is an extraordinary doctor and I feel lucky to have gotten myself and my children into her practice.  My son had a horrible rash and she sought to understand the source and recommended a topical cream before pushing antibiotics.  As a mom herself, it is obvious that she treats her patients as her own, following up to understand how he was doing and if the topical had worked effectively.  Dr. Fetch has an incredible bedside manner and deeply cares about her patients. read more

Had my first appointment with Dr Mary Sheu today. I made the appointment a few weeks in advance by phone. I received the forms in email and was asked to return them a few days in advance of my appointment and I gladly did that since I live not too far away. At my appointment I was invited in to see Dr Sheu right on time. She was attentive and informative and kind. I have not had good experience with dermatologists over the course of my lifetime and I'm very glad to have found her! read more

I am very generous by giving this business a one star review. I had nothing but headaches and disappointments trying to get care for my two daughters (18 & 13) at this office. That's because care is something they don't deliver here. The staff to start with is absolutely not accommodating. They seem to enjoy saying sorry we can't , no, not possible. My older daughter got an appointment w Dr Fecth after a few months waiting but skin got nothing but worst. I tried to make a follow up appointment w the office (I called one and a half months prior to her moving out to college) and explained that she was already a patient in treatment and begged that she would be seen before leaving town only to be denied any form of care whatsoever. She moved to a different city and it was hard to find her a new Dr in a new town. Her skin was breaking out terribly at this point and a shy girl had to start college embarrassed of looking at people's face. I still for some reason decided to bring my younger daughter there. I had had a positive reccommendation and thought may be I should give it another try. Again had to wait 2 months for an appointment. The day before the appointment the office called me but I missed the call and was left no messages. The day of the appointment, after waiting for two hours, missing school and work, I was told that she couldn't receive care since she wasn't fully vaccinated. Even if I answered the phone call the day before I would still miss the appointment I was waiting for for two months because a PCR test was required and that would take more than 24 hrs for results. If they cared they would send messages, call and make sure their patients were fully aware of their policies. It seems that they can't handle the amount of patients they have but nonetheless they keep getting new ones, instead of providing the ones they already have what they're here to do. Give CARE ! One thing they're fast to do is charge you the big bucks for their lack of it. read more

Poor procedures for the new patients. I was recommended this dermatologist by my doctor and tried to schedule an appointment. The receptionist on the phone gave me a homework assignment, claimed to be unable to use email to send the forms, made me feel unappreciated and unwelcome. For something this expensive, don't bother. read more

It took me several months to get an appointment to start with (I understand some of but was due to Covid but they had a long waitlist even before the pandemic). Finally the day came. I was told to wait in my car and call them when it was my appointment time. They told me they were ready. I came to the office and had to first wait for the receptionist to check me in; then waited again 5 minutes for the assistant to prepare my paperwork and lead me to the room. Then waited 20 minutes for the doctor who didn't show up and I ended up returning to my car until they figured it out. I am wondering what is their definition of "ready" and how they don't mind people spending over 30 minutes waiting indoor in a closed space in the time of Covid? This is beyond me. If you are looking for an efficient and safe dermatology practice, please find somewhere else. read more
