I would highly recommend Mark! It was 6pm the night before my tenant was due to move in and we had a bathroom leak we couldn't fix after a couple hours of trying. Luckily Mark was available and came out first thing the next morning! Took him some time to figure it out but he didn't give up and after a couple hours he fixed it and also took a look at a second problem for us in the house. We hired Mark to do a small remodeling at one of our bathrooms and replace a toilet in another one. If you want to have your house disrespected (workers drinking or drunk at the job) and have to put your own time and labor to have something completed this is the company to go with. After decided that we will not have them back into our house, I asked Mark to adjust the price since the other toilet wasn't replace it, he refused to do it and not even that he asked for $200 dlls more than his original quote for "parts" he bought it and trips to Home Depot, I asked for the receipts same ones he couldn't provide. So he wanted to charge for his trips but he didn't want to adjust the price for something he didn't do or my time helping him to complete the other bathroom to get it out of our house. The repair was successful. However, the process was not smooth. Mark is really nice. He made room in his schedule to fit us in the next day after I expressed the repair needed to be done sooner rather than later. He originally said he'd be out at 10 AM. He called a bit before 10 to say he had something come up with another client and asked if is was okay to arrive closer to 11:30. He was apologetic, and I said that would not be a problem. He did not arrive at 11:30, though, nor did he call to give me an update on his later arrival time. He and his assistant finally arrived about 1:30 p.m. The repair needed was to an old pocket door. After examining the door, he explained what was needed to get to the track. He then asked if there was a hardware store nearby. [Turns out he had left a tool behind at a previous job, and he'd need the tool for this repair.] My husband had the tool, and was able to loan it to him before leaving for work. About 4:45 p.m., I asked how it was going. Mark said they were almost finished. I slid the door closed, and it was working fine. However, when I tried to open it, the door stopped about 2 inches from being flush with the frame. He said he "didn't realize" that it was supposed to open all the way. [???] After some discussion, Mark agreed to finish the repair correctly. I reminded him to make sure to leave the borrowed tool. I asked if he would be done no later than 5:30 as I had to leave for my teaching job. He said yes. At 5:35, he had not finished. Fortunately, my daughter and son-in-law were at the house, so I was able to leave for work. Two days later, my husband was looking for the tool Mark had borrowed. It was no where to be found. I contacted Mark, and he confirmed he had noticed that his assistant had tossed the tool "in the back of the truck" with the rest of the tools. He was on another job at the time--a 2 hour drive away--so he was not able to return the tool. Ours was a project with time constraints, so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a duplicate. While Mark apologized for taking the tool and offered to reimburse us for the cost or a replacement, he did not explain why he had neither turned around to return the tool, nor why he didn't contact us to say he had the tool. I asked for an itemized invoice on the repair, and--a week later--am still waiting. Like I wrote at the top: a successful repair, but a difficult process. read more

Mark got back to us (my mom and I) extremely quickly. He came out to give us an estimate arrived on time and was professional and very nice. He followed Covid guidelines always wearing his mask, and didn't get annoyed at all by our two very yappy small dogs. After he finished what he came out for, we mentioned another issue we had been having with my back door and he was quick to say he could fix it right away.
