Expect a festive beach vibe: food kiosks and trucks serve Puerto Rican classics like frituras, cold drinks, and fresh seafood. It's lively and social, especially later in the day. Parking fills up early, especially on weekends and holidays. Some people park farther up the road and walk down.

Gorgeous beach. Life guards. Family friendly. Small waves. Clean. Crowded. Parking can be tough.

Amazing beach!! Best I've ever been to! Pretty clean and beautiful, clear water. I swam out kind of far and was able to see a sting ray, a sea turtle, and a bunch of fish from small to big (2 feet+)!! The waves were small and the water was very friendly and easy swimming. Handful of food vendors available in the parking lot with delicious food and drink. Highly recommend.

I came on a weekday & it's the off peak season so vendor booths were vacant. There were a bunch of booths from souvenirs to food, etc. I was a little bummed out by that. I got to try a limber de coco(coconut ice). "Limber" is often used to refer to a frozen, slushy type of treat in Spanish speaking regions, particularly in the Caribbean. Vendors sell it out of a little cart & they go around the beach. It was very refreshing especially in the 80+ degree weather. I wish it was a little bit less sweet though. I should have mixed it up w/ the cherry flavor. The water in this beach was beautiful & so crystal, clear blue. Most people of PR are so friendly & always say hello. You see PR flags everywhere here painted on a chair/tree,hang up on the boardwalk, etc. I love Crash Boat & def will be back!

I loved this beach! It wasn't overly crowded even for a Saturday. They had great music playing. They had a bunch of different foods and drinks to buy! We got a great smoothie and awesome skewers of food. The water was the perfect temperature. We stayed most of the day and had the best time!

If you are on Aguadilla definitely stop but crash boat beach! I recommend coming early because parking is very difficult. We arrived around 12:30pm and struggled to find parking. We didn't have to pay entrance fee see we found street parking. There is also space for ppl to bbq and picnic Once you get down the beach though it's very beautiful! The waters here are a lot calmer than San Juan, but since the beach is small it felt a lot more crowded. If you're looking for more of a tranquil beach experience I recommend going during the week when it isn't as crowded

The beach is nice and the water is clear. There is an area where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and there are a few food stands. What I didn't like is them at the jet skis and boats come really close to the shore so it's feels crowded and you can't really swim. I was there with my family when a guy decides to turn on his jet ski and we water all over us from his engine.

Definitely a beach for locals. About a 2 hour drive from San Juan, you will find this gem.

Jump off the pier into the great blue waters at Playa Crash Boat the beach waters are home marine life like turtles and manatees., beach is perfect for snorkeling, diving and surfing. various activities, around the beach, then hit the food trucks around the pier for a Pina colada and Puerto Rican island food. Later walk out to watch the sunset. You'll find picnic tables and great places to take photos of beautiful scenery. You have both paid and free parking so be sure to arrive early. In all it was one of my favorite beaches. Come visit it's a great place to spend a full beach day.

Absolutely Amazing Beach close to Rincón that you must visit! Food trucks and drinks available, very family friendly! Water is always perfect and photo worthy. It is in my Top 3 favorite beaches in PR. 10/10 recommend!

Pretty solid beach. lots of great vendors around and also great jet skiing opportunities. parking is pretty straight forward - $9/car is great. not really sure if there are any convenient bathrooms though - the only one we were able to conveniently go to was the one at the bar close to the parking lot but that one has a $20 minimum purchase from customers.

Ask the Community - Crash Boat Beach

Does the beach close at 5?

Hey! I've heard from others that the beach is open 24/7 however I was recently told by a friend that it was randomly closed early at 2pm one day. I think best bet is to try and go as early as possible

Is a commercial sprinter van able to park there?

Parking is very tight & hard to come by. They do have a lot, but once it's filled, it's a wrap

Does anybody know what time we can get there? The website says it opens at 9am and I'm assuming that means for paid parking.

It is paid parking but you can actually just park along the side of the road before 9am. When the lot fills, people park along the road anyway so it isn't illegal to leave your car there.

We had Adrian and Giovanni for the tours and just had a blast! They really treat you well and accommodate the tours to your style. It's like your just hanging out with some old friends. Your not just doing these awesome adventures - we also learned about the Puerto Rican culture, ancestry history, and they gave great restaurant recommendations. We rented a car but some other people on our tour group were picked up by Verdeazul for the adventures. Adrian even helped us get connected to a vet when we found a sato (Puerto Rican slang for a street mutt)! We have the most memorable memories from this trip thanks to the guys at Verdeazul! We strongly suggest booking something through them and would recommend it to all our friends and family. They take all the photos for you and email them to you so you don't have to worry about trying to capture the moment and enjoy it at the same time. Not to be missed!

We decided to book a kayaking tour, but I wish we would have paddle boarded but kiddos didn't want. Anyway, as I mentioned the owner was awesome when we arrived. Brian our guide on the tour was super laidback. Was trying to find things to point out during our tour and wasn't invasive at all. Allowed us space to enjoy the beautiful scenery as a family. We stopped for a bit at a swing and the kids had a blast. Some dude told confronted Brian about some permit, which brian told me later they of course had, but Brian played it cool and let the man say his piece and he went on his way. Really a memorable experience. Amazing views of cliffs on the way back. Thanks to Scott and Brian for the experience. We will see y'all next time for sure

Having followed Anthony to the Tiki Bar in Hawaii, and other places, and having preceded him to Popotla Beach in Baja, and other places, we were determined to find the Isabela blowhole. In typical fashion, Mr. Bourdain was a little cryptic about his locations, and that didn't help. We searched and searched and searched and finally found the blowhole. A sign would come in handy, but noooooooooo. The Isabela Blowhole is located in a rocky and sandy shoreline area called Baño La Princesa, which is just north of Jobos Beach. You park at the bottom by the beach restaurants and you walk up the hill - and there it is. But it wasn't blowin'. Blowholes can be that way. To work their best magic, they need a high tide, a decent swell and strong winds. Oh yes, and a hole or two in the rock. Hawaii does good blowholes with that lava rock. The blowholes I currently remember seeing are: Spouting Horn, west of Poipu, Kauai; Halona Blow Hole, south end of Sandy Beach, Oahu; Nakalele Blow Hole, West Maui; La Bufadora, north of Ensanada, Baja MX, and; the Kiama Blowhole south of Sydney, Australia (up to 60 meters high). Maybe I'm a blowhole groupie. It's beginning to sound that way. Sorry my pictures suck on this one. Blurry and all. When it 'aint blowin', what do you really take a picture of anyway? This non-performing hole is lucky to get three stars. But I have been kinda hard on PR the Welfare Island, so it gets a break on this one.
