That's why I refused to go for months. But eventually I gave in and my partner convinced me to give it a try and do 1 work out to see if I like it. And I'm so happy I did. We just finished our first month of CrossFit works outs and I loved every single class. My very first work out immediately dispelled the misconceptions I had about CrossFit. CrossFit Rincon is filled with lots of different kind of people - all different backgrounds, ages, body types, and levels of fitness. Head coaches, Reese & Valentina, are great. They motivate, cheer you up and help you challenge yourself. They celebrate your wins and always there to help you with your goals. Through our the WOD coaches consistently monitor and correct your form to help you do better. They can also modify some exercises to your ability and shape. They were also recommended by a friend. The atmosphere is wonderful and the place is very clean. I love the variety of classes and instructors. I had never done Pilates before and Rose was great. I had two classes with Vivienne and one with Caitlin. I loved them all! The instructors are all so sweet and patient. Aloha is an OUTDOOR yoga studio right on the beach!! I practiced every single day on my trip to Rincon underneath a canopy of palm trees with ocean rolling in front of me, the sound of waves rolling in, and the ocean mist. It is a relaxing delight to each of the five senses. The instructors offer several open level classes each day that are good for the first time beginner or the super duper advanced yogi. They also offer drumming classes, retreats, and can hook you up with some amazing yogi-inspired surfing lessons (which I did and am now hooked!) Say hi to Maura and Billy for me!
