Even after decades of living in other states, most of the food we miss is from the Windy City. Imagine our surprise, when we found out the gracious owners of this food truck are from the Chicago area and their menu is peppered with some of our absolute favorites - Italian beef and a loaded Chi town hot dog! The smash burgers are ridiculously good. If you think Beedos has the beef, think again. The patties here are expertly cooked, with just the right amount of crispy edges, and juicy meat. Probably one of our top 3 burgers of all time. The menu also offers up patty melts, chili, a Reuben, chicken ( wraps, tenders & a quesadillas), sides like crinkle cuts, onion rings, coleslaw and mozzarella sticks. We just came back from a local excursion to Daufuskie Island and wanted a quick casual bite to eat. We walked past LowCo Taco's Food Truck a few times prior and decided to stop by. I ordered the grilled fish taco on flour tortilla, filled with cabbage slaw. The tacos were good and enough to hold me over to dinner (which was only a few hours later). The tacos were good! The salsa that came with it was mild, but complemented the fish tacos well. They were about $10 for 2 tacos (About what you would expect). There is a little seating area right next to the food truck so individuals can choose to "dine-in" or take back to their rooms.
