While good, it was quite different from Cajun gumbo, with a distinct tomato base. I had the fried shark with red rice. The shark had a little bit of a "fishy" flavor, but not too much. Portion sizes were a bit small but adequate for lunch. The owner and chef came out to greet us and we chatted for a few minutes about the restaurant and Gullah culture.
