The new decor is adorable and feels very modern--definitely has that 2024/25 vibe. As soon as you walk in, it almost feels like you're in a big city, not the South! I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and a couple of blueberry muffins (which were delicious, by the way!). They had a variety of other breakfast items, but most were not vegetarian-friendly. My only suggestion would be to include some pork-free or more vegetarian options on the menu, but that's a small note compared to the overall great experience. Crave is a cute dessert and coffee shop in Tupelo, MS with some breakfast items open 7 days a week. I walked in and could see this as a very popular spot for preteens and teenagers as well as family outings. It's so cute and the decor is social media worthy. I was short on time and couldn't get the skillet cookie, no time to sit and enjoy it so the young lady at the counter gave me some great recommendations. I chose the Salted Caramel Cheesecake. It was put together nicely as a to go order. I really enjoyed the sauce and toffee pieces on top. The chocolate crust was a nice touch. Now, to be fair I wanted to taste each component separately and the cheesecake was not as rich as I had hoped, it tasted like one of those quick 3 step recipes and that's ok in a hurry. I had high hopes for Crave after seeing the pictures on the website. I came in to get a coffee and dessert. I ordered an Americano with some steamed milk to go. She filled the cup to the top and gave me a pitcher of steamed milk to put in it. I stood and drank some so I could put some of the milk in the cup. I got a piece of cake and a piece of coffee cake. It didn't taste day old, it tasted a few days old. I ended up throwing them both away. Very disappointed. read more

What's not to like about a chocolate chip cookie skillet?? Crave is a once in a while indulgence for us, their desserts and coffees are RICH but tasty when you need to treat yourself. My only real complaint is that I wish they gave you more ice cream to go with the skillet! The inside of the shop is clean and cute, and there is outside seating available as well. This place came so highly recommended, but sadly, we felt really disappointed! We got there right at opening on a Tuesday morning, and found a mostly empty pastry case. It wasn't very appealing to see the lack of quantity and selection first thing in the morning. It seemed only one person was working and the one customer ahead of us had a big order. When it was our turn, we ordered a blueberry scone, a piece of quiche and a sausage biscuit sandwich. After about 20 minutes (and seeing the lady before us had yet to receive her order)we decided due to time restraints that we needed to go, so my husband went and asked if we could just cancel our order. The gal said that our order should be out in less than 5 minutes so we decided to continue waiting. And it did come out in about 5 min. We were excited to dig in to the scone that was so raved about (locals recommended it highly). It tasted like cake and was fluffy. It didn't taste bad... for a blueberry cake. But a scone? No.... sorry. Scones are distinctly buttery with a lovely crunch to the crust.The quiche was ok, but it seemed to have a layer of something bready in it. I'm used to an eggy custard over crust, so again, kind of missed the mark for me. The biscuit sandwich with sausage was meh. We are big fans of Crave at night; however, we tried breakfast on a Saturday morning and had a poor experience. While the coffee and food were fair, the service was the worst we've experienced in Tupelo. There were only 2 other tables in the store. We waited more than 30 minutes for 3 items and the egg bites were freezing on 1 side and hot on 1 side like they were stuck in the microwave. The skillet cookie came in a little red skillet(they take about 30 min to make)with two scoops of vanilla icecream and caramel and chocolate drizzle over top. The créme brûlée had whipped cream and chocolate chips, instead of the fresh fruit. I loved it. Every last bit. I had French press Ethopian. Mellow, light. First splurge on our summer road trip. Well worth the pure indulgence that this adorable little shop offers. It was almost a curse to start our trip with such amazing treats, all others on the trip paled in comparison. Ordered the S'mores pie, Turtle Cheesecake and the kids ordered ice cream. After sampling from each other's plates, the hands down winner was the s'mores pie!! The last few times I have gotten one, I've noticed the cookie has been a little dry, but still good, but this time... it was SO dry and burnt on the bottom. My fiancés brownie was so burnt that it wasn't edible. This was a call-in order, and it took nearly 50 minutes for it to be prepared. Not sure what's going on with call-in orders, but I bet these wouldn't have looked like this had we been served inside the restaurant.
