Stopped by this shop yesterday morning while my wife was in a women's conference in Tupelo. I had the last two cream filled chocolate iced donuts on their shelf. They were AMAZING!! This is one of my favorite donut combinations. And these at Scarlet's were by far the absolute best I have ever had. No one comes close. Shoot! I'd drive back to Tupelo for a box of them. :-). I also found the shop to be very clean and neat. The service was very good. They were well staffed and ready to quickly handle the rush of customers at 7 o'clock in the morning. I was craving donuts this morning so I popped in to pick up a few. Always friendly service with that neighborhood, locally owned feel. It's like they know you or your family. Love Scarlet's Doughnuts! They have two locations in Tupelo, luckily 2 blocks from my hotel and I can bring a few dozen into work for my team! I love the glaze and blueberry the best, other cake glazed, chocolate cake, buttermilk, various flavors, bacon maple and more! They also have breakfast sandwiches/biscuits such as sausage and bacon. I find this donut shop to be a dream as I love tamales & donuts. There's nothing more I could ask for except maybe for coffee that's above average but that doesn't at all take away from this delectable experience of gourmet donuts that competitors can't offer in taste & quality. Their Tamales were hot fresh hot chewy & sauced to perfection. If you're open to trying tamales that are not off a truck these are the best. I was impresssed with their friendliness customer service & the cleanliness of the store. Next time I'm in Tupelo visiting my friend I will be returning here next time I have a sweet tooth & tamale craving. Lots of choices and delicious! We went on a Saturday morning. I'd recommend the Oreo donuts but not lemon glazed.

Stumbled upon this gem. Friendly local turned us onto. The absolute best biscuit sandwich. The biscuit was light, buttery and slightly sweet. The maple bacon donut was light and worth trying. Staff was very friendly. Very clean bathroom and place was busy. This is obviously a local favorite. If we ever find our way back to New Albany, MS,will definitely be back!! read more

Scarlet's donuts were decadent and reasonably priced. Although, not the best donuts I have ever had, they were still very good. There are 3 locations. One in North Gloster, south Gloster, and one by Tupelo High School. I went to the North Gloster location and the service was good. The chocolate cream filled donut was delicious and very sweet. The coconut donut was also delicious. It looked like there were a lot of different flavors to chose from and I look forward to trying some of the more unique flavors. read more

I went through the drive thru this morning and was over charged for a dozen of assorted donuts. I did find the donuts fresh, but I did not particularly favor the cream filled selection. The icing tastes artificial and overly sweet. I do like the fact that there is a drive thru and the place was easy find. read more

Nothing but great things to say about Scarlet's! I've gone in several times just to pick up a few donuts and my favorite are by far anything blueberry. Not long ago I placed a rather large order of 300+ donuts. I gave them a weeks notice and never checked on them but when I arrived to pick them up they had them all ready and accounted for. Was there at 5:50 AM to buy two dozen donuts for the UGA vs. Ole Miss game. The workers let me in early and were extremely helpful. I had difficulty choosing from the large variety of fresh tasty treats but settled on the creme filled which were divine; chocolate iced which were delicious; maple iced with walnuts; and other varieties which were all pleasing to the palate. The kind staff even suggested I buy some donuts holes just finished at 15 cents each. I purchased 2 and was happily surprised when I noticed the baker had sneaked a 3rd one in my bag. Those donuts that survived the trip to the tailgate were well received. Now the day took a turn for the worst when Ole Miss spanked UGA 45-14 but knowing I had a few more of Scarlett's donuts left to eat raised my spirits. Go every Saturday with my granddaughter. She loves the sprinkle donuts. If there are none in the case they gladly make them for her. Friendly, clean yummy place to go. They make our "Donut Day" special. You also need to try the maple bacon donut. Soooo awesome! read more

Great staff & coffee! The glaze donuts just melt in your mouth like butter. I took my best friend here when she came to visit from out of town and she loved it. I miss when it was Shipley's but it's almost just as good. The staff is nicer now that they have changed the franchise. read more

Heard about this place from locals and it lives up to its reputation and more- the aroma alone is intoxicating! Scarlet's recently catered our daughter's morning wedding and did a SUPERB job! We ordered a variety of doughnuts and dough rolls (over $300 worth). Everyone raved about the "best doughnuts they've tasted" and the dough rolls were a huge hit! We only had a couple of Ziploc bags left over :) I cannot brag enough about Amanda, the manager! She was extremely helpful via phone - I live out of state and she went above and beyond in soothing my concerns of logistics for the reception and making sure the food was perfect. We went in to pre-pay a few days before and they even gave us a dozen donut holes for free! Don't miss this gem on your next trip to Tupelo - you will not be disappointed!! read more
