Great food; even better service! We really couldn't be more pleased with the food and service we received. Amy (our waitress) was a superstar! She remembered our drinks, our names and our town. She was running steady, taking care of her tables, but never seemed rushed or short while at our table and showed genuine concern for our dining pleasure. We had perch, bluegill, crawdads (crawfish), and scallops: The breading on the crawdads, perch and bluegill was changed since our last visit. The breading is not light, but it isn't really heavy either. It stays on the fish very well and adds a nice flavor. I wish the crawdads were offered sauteed, as the breading does get a little bit in the way of the flavor of this little jewels. The scallops were done to perfection! We were looking for a new experience. Finished shopping at Johnson Creek Outlet Mall and Yelped for a good restaurant. This had a four star rating and was well deserved. It was our first time there and was delighted to find this restaurant/bar in an unincorporated town. Burgers were great! They had entrees too. We've stopped by a few times for a drink and an appetizer and have been pleasantly surprised. The staff is great and the wings are spot on! Unfortunately, the rest of the menu seems to be not so great. We actually ate here twice this weekend; once for lunch and once for dinner. Everything, except for the wings, was pretty terrible. We even tried the prime rib which was awful and couldn't even be cut with a knife; so much fat and tendons. The waitress didn't even blink when my full plate of food was pushed away and I asked to order something else for my husband and I to share. We were charged for both. However, that was the only spotty customer service we received. Generally, people have been nice. I'm sure we'll come back but never for the prime rib. read more

We stopped in here with friends on Saturday night because they wouldn't stop bragging about the place. Now I know why. During all the bragging about this place I hear something about the Trust Me burger. Ok. What is it. Its a burger with cheese,bacon, honey, apples and .......peanut butter. I know right??!?!?! I'm looking at the menu going back n forth...I don't know about you but you don't see something called the Trust Me burger on too many menus so ...the hell with it - order me up one. As we downed the cheese curds ( when in Wisco..) the burgers showed up. I couldn't wait and dove in. Holy cow. It was shockingly good. I was blown away impressed. I also got the sweet potato fries with a side of honey too. I was also served up an I - told - you - so look from my friends. I have had the pleasure of dining here a number of times over the last few years. I have seen the menu evolve from a few choice pizzas to appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood and a well reviewed fish fry. While I have not had the opportunity to try this fish fry yet, I did have a life-changing burger last night. It is appropriately titled the "Trust Me" burger. It somehow contains your bacon, cheese, chunky peanut butter, apples and honey. Yes, it's messy but it's also finger lickin good. I'm a sucker for mixing sweet and salty and apparently the owner thinks it's the greatest thing ever, so I went for it. I know I live on the edge with my menu choices but this burger made me SO HAPPY I do. Live on the edge and trust Crawfish. Also, the previous time I was here I found myself very impressed with the wings. We found they contained more meat than most wings with the perfect crunch. I would be thrilled to see Crawfish master a superb ranch or blue cheese dressing to accommodate these, but they are chugging along so great with all their menu items I know it will only be a matter of time. Finally, I should say that this is 4 stars for what it is. I see that Crawfish Junction is testing the waters outside of bar food. I am giving them the 4 stars for creative, delicious bar food. They also offer steaks, risottos, pasta and seafood dinners I have yet to try. If you're in the area, head here. You won't find anything like it until you get to Madison or Milwaukee. read more

Cute place. Took awhile to be seated even though there was literally no one else eating. The surly, unsmiling waitress finally seated us. Then left. Came back a while later with 4 menus and left again. Finally took our drink order. Blonde waitress with her hair in a bun and a bad attitude cane back and asked for our order. The big sign said fish fry starting at 11 am. It was 12:30 and I ordered broiled cod. I was informed it wasn't available until after 3:30. So don't believe the sign. I then asked if I could get anything that wasn't deep fried and breaded. No. That's not possible. Settled for a burger and had to pay more for cottage cheese because I didn't want fries or chips. The burger was good. My friends fish fry was good but I had to go to the bar to get a refill in my drink as our waitress was no where to be found. Food is good. Service not so much. read more

Went here for lunch today. Very poor service. Even though it was not busy, our server would not check on us to see if there was anything we needed. When I was able to get her attention and ask for another round of drinks - they never came. I overheard her apologize to the table next to us for not putting their ticket in for food. Our food came out, but the order was wrong. I'm giving two stars, and not one, because the food is pretty good. Hopefully, it was just our server...We will try again in the future. read more

Came in for their all you can eat shrimp night with my wife and daughter. Place was not busy, maybe half the tables were full at best, got there after the dinner rush so that number was dwindling. Wife and I both ordered shrimp, took about 20 minutes to get our order. Asked for another when they were delivered since it was all you can eat and to save time. That took over 30 minutes to get to our table. All told, we were there for well over an hour, got two small dishes of shrimp which was miniscule. Like 30-40perlb type of shrimp. I tried to give them a second chance, they just are not good. I know Jefferson county is desperate for actual good restaurant choices which are not Culver's or Subway but is this really the best we have? read more

I had read about this place on another website. It lived up to the hype for the most part. My fish was very good and others in my party agreed. My sister and I had french fries with our meals and the fries were horrible. It's like they cooked them too long. I see that others who have visited have noted this same problem. Crawfish Junction is great. I've eaten here three times, all on Fridays when they have the Fish Fry, which is definitely their specialty. The fish they have is fried just the right way, not too breaded, and the taste is great. Plus, Crawfish Junction has fried alligator on the menu too! Yep, it's out in the middle of Jefferson county, though not far away from Jefferson and Watertown. Still, if you're in that area, I highly recommend giving Crawfish Junction a shot. read more

It took us a while to try this place but we are very glad we did. We went on a Friday night, we did have to wait briefly for a table but they had space at the bar. We ordered fried crawfish tails and alligator for dinner. Both were prepared correctly and their flavor was very good. We enjoyed our meal and plan on returning often. We do wish they would offer a crawfish boil in addition to the fried crawfish. They do offer burgers as well as the Friday fish fry. Parking is on the street and there is not a lot of it, you may have to walk to the restaurant depending on where you find a spot to park. read more

We just moved to Wisconsin and I've been eyeing this place for a month! We walk in through the bar.. drunk men dropping F bombs... they stare at us with our three kids, awkward. Little do they know my husband spent 20 years in the Navy so that doesn't phase me. However, this could be an issue for others especially with little people. The music from the bar was god awful loud, not good, and we couldn't even hear our waitress. This wasn't a Friday night, it was 3pm on Sunday. They mostly have high tops, not many actual tables and if they do they weren't set up. Also an issue for people with kids. Maybe they're not geared towards families, I dunno. The food- I am from Florida, born and raise. I never thought I'd see gator tail on a menu in Wisconsin. I will be honest, I didn't expect much. I mean, Wisconsin. We were wrong. It was really good. So good my picky 6 yr old loved it. The sauce that came with it was just like I'd get at home. The crayfish, eh. It was decent but the gator won. My kids had wings, they were delicious. Really good! My husbands burger was also really good as was my steak. The server was super sweet, and patient. We did run her a few times, but not on purpose. Would I go back? Yes! Would I recommend it? In one word: Tasty. First off, everyone was very friendly. I just got a good vibe about this place from the moment I stepped in. Some places just have a comfortable feel and some don't, Crawfish does. I had the Bessie burger. A very tasty burger that had beef brisket in it, I didn't taste brisket, but a very good burger nonetheless. I had a taste of the Jolly Green Giant...so good I wish I had ordered that instead. If I wasn't full, I would have tried the deep fried cheese cake...I can only imagine that tasty goodness. The rest of the menu looks very tasty; I NEED to come back to try the rest. read more

After almost an hour, we decided to leave. We actually had someone find us in the parking lot, demanding that we pay for food that we did not receive. We've been there for Fish Fry, which is wonderful with sweet potato fries, but they give you several great choices. The alligator appetizer was prepared perfectly with a slightly spicy dipping sauce.
