During the procedure, I experienced significant pain and had to repeatedly ask for additional anesthesia. Immediately afterward, I could no longer floss between teeth #18 and #19, and the temporary crown caused ongoing discomfort. Due to how uneasy I felt, I sought a second opinion from another licensed dentist, who reviewed my x-rays and confirmed that the work on teeth #18 and #19 was incomplete and improperly contoured, and that the temporary crown was chipped. I have documentation and imaging to support this. When I returned to Visionary Dental Arts to address these issues, I encountered conflicting information about what work had even been performed. At one point, staff insisted they had worked on a different tooth entirely, despite evidence otherwise. The interaction felt dismissive and gaslighting, and no meaningful effort was made to correct the situation. I am still experiencing pain, especially when eating, and now require corrective treatment elsewhere. Overall, this was a stressful and concerning experience involving poor communication, questionable treatment, and lack of accountability. I would recommend seeking a second opinion if you receive care here. Avoid Dr. Williams and team!

Been going here for 2 years now and they always take real good care of me. It's a small waiting area but that's okay because they get you in and out. Even tho I moved outside the immediate neighborhood, I still travel across town to come and see Dr Williams and her staff.

After researching on Yelp, I found that A+ Family Dental was conveniently located and had received overwhelmingly positive reviews. I called them up and inquired if they could accommodate me that day. They kindly assured me that they could take me in immediately. Upon entering A+ Family Dental, I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, incredibly kind and sweet, made me feel like I was at home rather than a patient. Dr. Victor examined my teeth, and we discussed some options. I went with the extraction and bone graft. I did enjoy the options and not feel compelled. I was a bit concerned about the pain. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the procedure was pain-free. They even provided an air sensation on the opposite side of my cheek, which helped distract me from the initial injection, which was completely painless due to the numbing of the gums beforehand. The entire staff demonstrated exceptional expertise and professionalism, which convinced me of their capabilities. Since then, I've had several other dental procedures performed there, including bone grafting, removal of old silver fillings that were damaged, fillings, and a deep cleaning with text messages reminding you of your up-and-coming appointments and then follow-ups after your procedure, seeing how you feel. They have been accommodating with payment arrangements, and I have become a loyal customer. I truly appreciate the helpful and friendly nature of the staff. They were always eager to answer any questions I had, no matter how simple they may have seemed. Additionally, they provided valuable tips on maintaining good oral hygiene and even gave me a bag filled with dental essentials, In conclusion, A+ Family Dental truly deserves its name. Their exceptional service, expertise, and commitment to patient satisfaction make them a top choice for dental care. Thank you so much to the entire staff from front of the house to the back. You made my visits very special and welcoming. Also, a very special heart-warming thank you to Dr. Victor and hygienist Princess. You made my experience very special and positive, bringing my smile even brighter. Thank you once again and looking forward to our next appointment.

Everyone is smiling, laughing, and clearly enjoys working together, which makes going to the dentist so much more enjoyable. I originally switched to Zak Dental because it was closer to where I worked, but I've since realized I'm staying because it's simply the best--not because it's the most convenient. Dr. La did my teeth whitening and prepared my teeth for my upcoming double front tooth crowns. She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Frankie, who assisted Dr. La and made my temporary crowns. I've had temporary crowns before, and they're usually treated as "good enough" since you'll only wear them for a couple of weeks. Not here. Frankie noticed the temporary shade didn't match my newly whitened teeth and, without hesitation, remade them. She even took the time to fill in a small chip so they looked even better than before. The result is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I hope my permanent crowns look just like these. As important as great dental work is, I think being kind and personable is almost just as valuable. Everyone in the office has a wonderful sense of humor, and they make every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. They somehow make sitting in the dental chair feel like you're hanging out with friends. If you're looking for a dental office that combines exceptional skill with genuinely caring, fun people, I highly recommend Zak Dental.

Even though I'd complain of pain, & my gum receded to a "10!", it took multiple professionals here to miss the infection. Hejazi told me I must be stressed from school & needed a bite guard, which didn't even fit when it came. Thank you to Andrea who finally cared to listen and consulted a periodontist (who saw the infection without any equipment and recommended an immediate extraction.) Then the recovery process to get an implant, which took 9 months, ended up being infected because I wasn't properly instructed & didn't have antibiotics. The written discharge said Tylenol & IB. My sinus was perforated and infected as well. The pain was unbelievable & went for weeks before an xray showed the crazy amount of pus clouding my head. Dr Hejazi also offers free crown replacement as long as you keep up with your cleanings, he replaced each crown he did for me cuz they kept breaking. Also charged over 1k for each crown when my insurance told me it should have been $425, so shame on me. Call your insurance and confirm before agreeing to treatment, they also tend to use high pressure sales when agreeing to the financial aspects so you feel trapped. Definitely consult your insurance! Better yet, just don't go here. Dr Hejazi has great social skills but dentistry skills not so much. Please don't put your trust or health in this place, I made that mistake for you. (PS: they also offer perks for positive reviews)

Over that time, Dr. Brian Mananquil and the entire Bella Vita Dental team have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure every concern I've had was addressed with patience, transparency, and genuine care. My treatment has been pretty extensive, to say the least. Dr. Brian has handled everything from implants and sinus lifts to numerous rounds of Invisalign and refinements, along with all of my general fillings, crowns, and other dental work. You name it--I've probably had to get it done; my teeth needed the whole kitchen sink. Throughout the entire process, he has always taken the time to clearly explain my options, answer every question I had, and make adjustments whenever I wanted to explore different approaches. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, which is incredibly important when you're making decisions about major dental work. What stands out most is how accommodating and patient he has been. Even when I've been very detail-oriented about my results, he's always been willing to work with me to get things exactly right. That level of commitment and professionalism is rare. The office is also consistently well-run, the staff is friendly and organized, and appointments are handled smoothly. If you're looking for a dentist or orthodontist who is skilled, thoughtful, and truly invested in achieving the best outcome for their patients, I can't recommend Dr. Brian enough. After five years of complex treatment, I'm extremely grateful I chose this practice.

TL;DR: The billing service that Bella Vita employs filed 2 insurance claims with incorrect billing…read moreinformation, which were denied by my insurance, and are refusing to update that info and resubmit the claim (as recommended by my insurance) and are leaving me with an outstanding $1167 bill. I was a patient with Bella Vita for about 5 years until I moved away last October. I decided to start Invisalign with them in May 2025 and paid my quoted amount ($2411) in full the day treatment started. To my surprise, in April 2026 I received a call that my claim had been denied by my insurance but they would help me out and file another claim that would hopefully be approved by Delta Dental but if that claim was denied, they would file an appeal for me. I got a text on May 11, 2026 that I had an outstanding balance that amounted to ~50% ($1167) of what I originally paid at the start of my treatment so I called to ask what happened and Emily at the front desk told that they filed an appeal for my denied claim but couldn't answer any insurance or billing questions due to the fact that their billing department is not done "in house" so they would have to relay all my questions to a separate service. The office also refused to give me any contact information for their billing department so I'm forced to play telephone with the office and their billing department but also said they could not tell me why my claims had been denied. I was, however, told that my benefits for ortho had been maxed out. I called my insurance immediately after that initial call and they told me that, no, my claim was not denied due to my coverage being maxxed out (it has not been at that point) but because there were errors with the billing information on the claims that were submitted. The insurance rep also notified me that they had no appeal on file, so either there is some technical issue on the insurance side or the office lied about filing an appeal for that 2nd denied claim. The insurance rep told me it was an easy fix and that the office's billing department just need to update that billing info, resubmit, and it should be approved. From May until August of this year, I've called 6 times asking for updates and relaying the message that all they have to do is update their incorrect billing info and resubmit the claim and it should be approved. Everytime I call, I'm met with "The claim was already filed and denied twice so there's not much we can do, but we'll ask the billing department again." I've tried asking for the practice manager and have been told "she's not at her desk but she will call you later" and I never receive that call. All in all, be wary of this place. Since their billing is not done in house, no one at the office can answer specific billing questions and refuse to give contact info for that billing office so you're forced to play telephone with them and their billing department if you ever have an insurance issue.
