Never had any issues with the quality or care of his work. Then Dr. Kuwamoto took over the practice. Over the last 3-4 years every experience seemed to be less and less pleasant. Longer wait times to be seen, painful dental work, fill in dentists (maybe a student dentist) who were allowed to fill a cavity under Dr. Kuwamaoto's supervision but not do it correctly. Resulting in it having to be drilled and removed and filled again all in the same visit. That's a lot of time in one chair for a cavity filling that had to be done twice when it should have been done correctly the first time. Other visits where it should have been a simple cleaning but it turned into a sales pitch trying to talk me into an at home sleep study with a purchase of some type of breathing machine. Which seemed more of a way for the office to pay for the new CT machine they recently added. After they did the ct scan they started asking all these questions about snoring and if I have a hard time breathing when I'm sick... saying "this is the way dentistry is going. We're partnering with doctors and seeing how else we can help our patients" when all I really wanted was my 6 month cleaning done. All the extra CT stuff took over 30-40 extra minutes and caused me to be late for work. Don't get me wrong, the dental hygienists that work here are the best! I have always had great cleanings. They're always so friendly and welcoming. I have tried to give Dr. K and the office the benefit of doubt but today I went in for my normal 6 month cleaning and the new girl at the front told me my insurance was now out of network. I have had the same insurance for the last 10 years. So I asked if they stopped accepting it and she said "no we still take your insurance but at this moment the plan doesn't have in network coverage for the summer????? But we can reschedule you for November and you will be in network again" I was very confused. I have worked in multiple medical fields for over 10+ years that involve insurance billing and have never heard of seasonal coverage. It just seemed very odd. She said I could get services done still today but have to pay for them out of pocket. I told her I wish I would have known this before driving 20 minutes to get here and now having to drive 20 minutes back home without my dental cleaning being done. That is the real problem. A courtesy call to notify someone about insurance coverage only takes 2 minutes.

I have lived with Oral Pain for the last 25 years due to 45 years of smoking, and bad oral health habits. As a result I paid the price, many teeth which had issues were extracted (That decision was made by my prior dentists for insurance reasons, not Oral Health). As a result I would not smile and I was very self conscious about my appearance. My Wife told me about Oasis Dentistry and the people that work there and their compassion and patience. She said "Dr. Le will listen to you, and your proposed solution that for the last 15 years your Dentists would not listen and they said No". Talk to Dr Le and tell him your idea of the upper bridge and all those crazy thoughts from that crazy Engineering mind of yours, he will listen. So being a good husband, I did what I was told, I set up and appointment with Dr. Le. When I arrived they took X-Rays, measurements, cleaned my teeth of which there were only 6 teeth left in the uppers (I asked if I get a discount 'cause there are only teeth) they laughed. They didn't judge me they CARED about me. I explained my Engineering solution for the missing teeth, to create a bridge on my uppers to provide a stable foundation for biteing, eating and Oral care. Doctor Le said "Dentist's typically won't consider an upper bridge that large but I will review this with my oral surgeon, and we will work out the plan, if you will trust me". Bottom Line ________________ Oasis Dentistry know how to listen and find the right dental solution for YOU, just like they did for me, the perfect Bridge on my upper teeth which restored my smile and my confidence, and I am 'NO LONGER IN PAIN' when, I eat or drink cold or hot fluids. Not surprisingly, her office is still super clean and organized. It had been a few years since I last visited. She also uses the latest and greatest equipment which even my dentist in Pasadena doesn't have or use. Dr Adina presented me several choices to help me with my sleep apnea (Somnomed, TAP and Panthera). Ended up deciding on the Panthera classic. The device is super light and is the smallest amongst the other companies. Fitting was straight forward as Dr. Adina took digital impressions which was awesome as I didn't have to have my mouth full of plastic trays and impression material. My dental appliance arrived in less than 2 weeks. Will hopefully be able to create a more peaceful environment so that my wife won't have to sleep next to a "raging bear" at night anymore.

Even their office is tip top clean with a very good working AC, especially since summer is almost here. A good functional air conditioning unit gives comfort to the patients.
