Dr Crawford is a very good Orthodontist and his office staff and attendants are great

A very unpleasant experience. The staff were professional, however the Dentist was not. She did not introduce herself, so I guess she was Dr. Crawford. I went in for a removable retainer. She looked in my mouth without gloves and she did not wash her hands. She would not make a mold of my teeth without doing x- rays and she wanted to cement a retainer in. It was a very unprofessional experience. I asked for a Dentist recommendation since she was unable to perform the reason for my visit and the referral wanted between 600 to 800 dollars for a retainer. I would run away from this practice. Also, I was told to arrive 15 min. prior to my 1:30 appointment which I did, and the practice wasn't even open until 1:30. I would not recommend this practice. read more

This office and the staff are unprofessional and very inconsistent. I had an appointment for my daughter to be approved for braces on August 5th 2024. I was told someone would reach out to me in 12 weeks. I called back after 3 weeks just to allow extra time and no one responded. I called frequently monthly and no response. I offered at the initial appointment to use my secondary insurance if needed for I did not want to hold my daughters process up. I was told to wait on Medicaid. A year later I get a call stating they never got a response from Medicaid and that I could start the process over again. I asked why should I do that given the fact that this has been almost a year wait. I requested a Manager and she refused to speak with me as if my concerns were not important. Please don't use this practice. We need to advocate for more practices to respect the patients and to provide better service and customer service for their practices. This is a shame this place has been operating for this long. read more

I would not recommend this place! My daughter has been told for 3 months that she was going to get her braces off well today comes around we have the big appointment to get them off and nope not today. The dr wouldn't even come out and talk to me. I could only talk to the receptionist. We live 2 hours away one way. This is the closet location since they closed the location in Kennesaw. This is not the first issue we have had with this office. I've had to talk to the manager of this location over a different receptionist. I know the receptionist didn't do anything I'm upset that the dr couldn't be bothered to come out and talk to me. I'm upset over being lied to for months. I would give 0stars if I could read more

Terrible experience. They were engaging in malpractice... I do not recommend this place. They are going to try to prolong your braces treatment to steal your money. Not only that, my daughter had complaints that the orthodontist assistants did not seem to know what they were doing. They were constantly referring to other workers, asking for help. One of the people working on her teeth had also caused her upper lip to bleed profusely. Don't bother going here. There are tons of better places to get the smile you want. read more

I took three children to the practice in Kennesaw the other day on the referral from my dentist. I waited 5 weeks for this appointment. Not one of my children were seen by an orthodontist. They were given x-rays, seen quickly by a technician and then recommended (all given the exact same diagnosis) for braces - Full set, 2 years. $6,175 each - but with all three - we will give you a discount. (please...) Which, was explained to me by the receptionist. This, is not a lie. This is exactly how this was handled! I NEVER saw, spoke to, or smiled at a licensed doctor. I could not believe this experience. I folded my papers, took my children and am now waiting 5 more weeks for an appointment elsewhere. This time, I have reached out to MANY people and read review after review. Just because your dentist refers you - doesn't mean you shouldn't do your homework! read more

The receptionist at the front desk was not polite at all she was a black girl and I'm a black woman she didn't greet me she didn't take our temperatures my son went out to the car to get the insurance card only when he came back that she actually just take his temperature but by the end of the visit the young lady who see me out the door she was very pleasant and polite and I liked her energy read more

The staff at Crawford Orthodontics, are in general, very welcoming. I will admit that I have a major issue with being on time coming all the way from Athens, but even when they have to reschedule us due to my tardiness, they never make me feel like my daughter and I deserve any less hospitality than the next patient on our return visit. Each visit, we always know what to expect and routine, for me, is a major plus! The biggest biggest plus at Crawford is the speed of their service! The only negative about the speed of service is that they don't mind pointing out that it's lunch time should you be in there for an 11:30 appt! Although their schedule flips flops from week to week-location to location, when I seemed to be having a little trouble scheduling my appt for the next visit too close to their 12 o'clock lunch hour, after my daughter had just finished her 11:30 appt right at 11:55, they did make it seem to be inconvenient for them by repeating at least three times that it's time for their lunch break! That was kind of disrespectful!! but even with that said, I look forward to our visits at Crawford Orthodontics each time. read more

This guy is a total egotistical jerk and the practice is like a PeachCare Cattle Farm. Unfortunately, I found that out after the fact. My son had braces on for 3 years - permanent retainers put on the day they were removed. Somewhat of a fiasco because on several visits leading up to the removal date, I asked that they switch him to permanent vs. removable retainers - even if I had to pay more. Day of removal, he walks into the waiting room holding removable retainers. Long story short, they put the permanents on after a heated discussion regarding their team obviously not writing down any notes after multiple requests. His bottom teeth started to shift within the first few months. Made an appointment. At this visit we were informed the bottom retainer was fine, however the top retainer had come unglued, so that was fixed. However, they decided to go ahead and also replace the bottom retainer as well. Why, who knows. When I asked about why the teeth shifted, I was told they could put braces back on for another $300.00. Really? Fast forward a year - one side of his bottom retainer came unglued and they couldn't get us in for a week and a half. We show up for the appt - wait almost 1 hr past our appointment time *typical* - and they inform me they can't put the retainer back on because his teeth moved. Well, his teeth hadn't moved since the initial shifting. When I tried to explain to the Dr. that was not the case and that the shifting had occurred over a year ago when we came in the first time, he said he his responsibility ended once the braces come off. So what is the point of having permanent retainers put on the teeth if they are just going to shift? Again, I explained that there was no recent shifting, it happened when the first person who applied them apparently didn't do it correctly - and his teeth shifted. At this point, he refused to fix the retainer at all - and informed me he didn't have to do the work. Total jerk. Summary. I guess it's OK to bill someone $4500 for braces, screw up the retainer process, and then charge the patient to fix your mistake. I would NEVER recommend taking your child here for orthodontic treatment. read more

We've been taking our granddaughter to the Norcross office for 6 months. We could not be more pleased with our experience with them! We have had nothing but courteous, prompt, and professional service at every visit. We live over 2 hours away from this office, but we would drive longer if we needed too! I have mix reviews about this business. I was refereed by my son's general dentist and did not look for reviews first; going forward I will regardless. The online payment system is currently offline which makes making payments extremely inconvenient and scheduling appointments a hassle. However, the appointments are quick. I thought he was just holding out longer and longer to get more money- but he really was holding out so i'd get the amazing smile I was blessed with now. So this a cattle farm. They have 50 chairs filled with kids collecting money, but other than the original consultion you never see the doctor. This is the second time I came here to get my daughters braces taken off. 6 weeks ago they just did an adjustment and sent her out. I had to ask to speak the Dr. Crawford. Today they told me they did not receive the permanent retainer. I MADE THIS APPOINTMENT 6 WEEKS AGO. I took the day off work, she is missing a day of school (the 3rd day of school) AND THEY BLAME IT ON THE RAIN. Not their failure to plan, not the lack of communication ( I could have went to work today), but the rain. So we are waiting outside for UPS so my daughter can take her senior pictures without her braces and so we don't have to miss any more work or school. You suck!! read more

I do not recommend this orthodontist at all. I was a patient of his several years ago. Had my braces for about a year. He removed the braces even though my teeth weren't straight and said they would put a spring on the removable retainer but that never did anything. Went back to complain within the month and was told he'd fix it if I paid for a second treatment. Well there goes $3000 down the drain... read more

I do not recommend this place either. Save yourself the headache. Heed the yelp reviews. If someone goes through the effort to write a review then you know there is something up. There are over 25 people in the picture yet you can't ever get someone to answer the phone. If you get an answer after 15 tries you were lucky. Dealing with finance is the WORST. They talk to you like they're doing you a favor instead of treating your like a well meaning, paying customer who is trying to do what's best for your child or self. Management - if there is any I never heard from them and trust me I tried. They claim to work with you on payments - no. No they do not. Even if you are actively paying they like their threats and do refuse to treat your child until they receive what they want. This is the worst Practice I have ever encountered. My child been coming to this dentist for over 6 months and I have never seen him or spoke with him. The front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional. If you don't have medicaid or a Green VISA, please stay away. They have no care about the health of your child teeth. My appointment was at 11:30am by 12:45 my daughter still hasn't been seen. I go to the receptionist she tells me she doesn't work the surgery side she needed to get someone. Then she goes to tell me I must have been late to my appointment. I told her no I was here on time. She was very rude and unprofessional. Keith Crawford is as UNPROFESSIONAL as they come; A complete clown! If he put as much effort into demonstrating quality patient care as he does nursing his ego, he would be in much better shape! My rating is one star because there was no option for anything less. My son was a patient under his care and was no more than a dollar sign to him. My son's braces were removed or should I say yanked from his teeth without prior notice. We were called in for what appeared to be a routine check-up and my son came out in pain with no braces on his teeth with more than one year of treatment left to go! When I questioned his actions, the only thing this idiot (Crawford) blurted out in front of the staff and other patients was "Didn't you have a problem with your insurance company?" There was never a lapse in coverage, not even for one day. We simply switched insurance providers. There was never any mention prior to that appointment about any issues. He accepted both forms of insurance but I later found out that it was easier to bill the initial insurance company for services that were never rendered. The company that we switched to was not so easy. I read another review about the staff being unprofessional and rude. That demeanor comes from the top. They have adapted the behavior of their employer. They do not practice professionalism and courtesy because it is not required nor enforced. They have taken on the sentiment of the head of the practice... their crass and unscrupulous employer, Keith Crawford! STAY AWAY from this practice, unless you are glutton for punishment and want to be taken advantage of. The worst experience from a so-called "medical professional" ever!!! read more

WORST place I've ever been. The staff was the most rude, unprofessional, and arrogant I've met. I signed in and waited my turn, and when I was called I overheard some of the staff laughing about another patient's name. Super super unprofessional to do that in front of a customer here. They were inattentive to me and not friendly at all. They were having their own personal conversations in front of me. Had their phones with them too and kept checking the time on it over and over. Anyways, this appointment is taking forever and PLUS they tell me to go back to the seating area and will call me in 10 min to discuss the evaluation. 20...30..minutes go by and I go up to the receptionist lady who VERY rudely "apologizes". So I finally go to discuss the options with some woman in the back office, and she seriously talks like a 16 y old. The words coming out of her mouth every sentence are "like" and "um". She honestly sounded like she had no clue what she was discussing and she wasn't young either. So obviously there's a lack of communication and when we finish talking she brings me another lady who tells me the opposite of what I was told earlier about being called back for a later appointment with dr. Crawford. Best of all, they NEVER called me back and I never got to even meet dr. crawford and discuss anything. I will NOT be surprised if the entire staff don't have certifications to work at an orthodontic place. Please don't waste your time here. Worst place ever by far. read more
