Coming out of a work trip the week prior I got a URI traveling back on Friday, and called over the weekend to let them know of my URI and my inability to make my appointment. I woke up Monday to several missed calls about my "missing the appointment". I called immediately, indicated I left a VM and was out sick, but was rudely treated on the phone, told they didn't receive my VM, and then sent a bill for $100 for a missed appointment - while I was OOO for 3 days ill that week. If they had a proper online system, I could have rescheduled immediately on Saturday. And I have repeatedly had to follow up to VMs - which are untraceable. The doctor is inaccessible and apparently incapable of managing a professional office. Needless to say, I will fighting the $100, given I have iphone records of my phone calls, and will be switching dentists to one who makes it easy to coordinate with them.
