The staff are friendly and they are also the reason my insurance covers most of my treatment. They informed me my provider had better plans than what I had originally. My hygienist Rebecca was amazing. She was very thorough and explained everything so well. My treatment plan and how it affects me and my health. When I get treatment they offer me a list of items I can have such as a blanket, water, the remote to the tv and several other items. They provide me with glasses for my treatment and a hot towel to clean my face. I definitely don't mind visiting the office when I typically go running.

Everything looks great and I suppose is intended to be impressive with all the latest tech etc. but when a customer experiences as many issues, mishaps, lack of communication, etc. as I have, then none of that matters. I would encourage the office to focus on the level of service provided to your customers and a little less on having all the latest gizmos. Anyone that believes any of that matters while delivering the poorest customer experience ever (what a title to inherit) is sadly mistaken. I literally picked the office due to the glowing reviews but I would advise anyone who likes to avoid hassle and headache to absolutely stay away. Involving the office manager has not seemed to have made the least bit of difference either. I cannot wait for my treatment to be done (IF that EVER happens) so I can find somewhere else in a hurry. The ONLY thing they have done well is to accept payment and it was all downhill after that.

    I haven't even been to this office yet and I'm still giving it a five star rating…read more I was trying to make an appointment with Dr. Sims for implants and corrections to the havoc my previous dentist, Justin Scott w/Pure Dental, created. Dr. Sims personally called me after I emailed all my X-rays and reports to his office. We discussed what happened and what needed to happen before I could get implants. He referred me to oral surgeon Dr. Nadler who corrected the havoc reeked on my mouth and I will be going "back" to Dr. Sims for the completion of the implants. Just the mere fact that Dr. Sims took it upon himself to call me personally to discuss my issues was remarkable. He's also very personable and I feel our personalities will get along well. I look forward to working with him on getting and maintaining excellent oral (and therefore better digestive) health. Thank you, Dr. Sims, your gesture meant a great deal to me and I look forward to our appointment.

    I was debating whether to give the visit two or three stars. I was going to give it three stars…read morebecause it was an average dental cleaning but what made me take down one star is that the dental office charges every patient a fee even if you have insurance (more on that later). I called other dentists in Atlanta and there are some with high ratings and new technology that do not charge an office fee. Before going to the dental cleaning I received several messages through email, text and call asking me to confirm my appointment. I confirmed my appt via a click of a button through an email and also again through text message. I would have appreciated only being "pinged" once to confirm. Then I received a call the day before asking me to provide my dental information by noon, which I had already emailed them the day before. When I got to the office, I was seen promptly. I mentioned to one of the staff that I had my records sent over a couple of days ago. They said they couldn't find them and asked why I would need to have my records sent. I just thought it was part of the process and that the dentist would be interested in my history and prior x-rays. They told me the dentist will be doing new x-rays so not to worry about the records not being found in their inbox. The x-ray process took about 10 minutes. That's when I started noticing that some of the technology/atmosphere is a little more outdated than I am used to. Just things like the chairs, and the overall ambience, but nothing was technically wrong with it. Also worth noting that my previous dentist usually takes my blood pressure before the cleaning and provides mouthwash. There wasn't any of that here. When the x-rays were done I wasn't communicated with about what the next steps would be. I was sitting there for about five minutes and didn't really know what to expect or what/who was coming next. I was also unsure of who my hygienist would be. Also the chair was not in a comfortable position for my back, but there was no staff around to tell so I kind of propped myself up while I was waiting for the next person to come presumably. After a few minutes, the dentist came over and said that she would be doing my cleaning. The cleaning was really a no-frills cleaning. My previous dentist (in a different state) had really new technology like noninvasive tools that can sense where cavities might be forming and they also have a screen on the ceiling above the chair. The cleaning here was a bit messy. I had water dripping all the way behind my neck and when I left I had spots of toothpaste on my face. I also didn't really feel like it was rinsed enough and I felt leftover toothpaste granules. Minor note, but I wasn't given an option of what toothpaste I wanted either. When the cleaning was over I went to the front and this is probably the biggest reason why I had to give it two stars instead of three. There is a $10 charge and it wasn't explained what that charge is for. This charge is for every single patient apparently. This is definitely not OK in my book given that insurance should pay for the entire cleaning. I understand that perhaps they needed to charge for Covid protocols (just a guess). The lack of explanation about the charge at the end did not feel good as a patient. I asked them if this was a co-pay because there should not be a co-pay. They simply said that it's an office charge. I should have really probed that more but I just paid and let it go and decided I won't be back. The staff were friendly so that was positive. But I definitely think that I am looking for a higher quality dental experience. My last dentist would spend time with patients for an hour, but here I was in and out pretty quickly. Also this is minor, but this office does not give out free toothbrushes or floss, or at least I didn't get anything and it wasn't offered to me. I think better communication, a more thorough exam, interest in my dental history, and of course not having any extra charge at the end would have really made it a better experience. I wouldn't say this is a bad dental clinic by any means but I just think it is more for patients who aren't looking to establish a dental "home" but those seeking an infrequent cleaning/procedure.

From the first visit, the focus felt heavily on financing--she was encouraged to apply with multiple lenders, and surgery was scheduled within days. The office contacted her repeatedly during the weekend, including in the evening hours, and asked her to set up online banking access so they could see what she could put down. Once I became involved, the finance person and dentist stopped answering calls and did not respond to voicemails. She chose not to proceed and attempted to confirm she would not be charged; after that, communication stopped. She then received a $12,000 CareCredit charge, and the doctor was paid despite no surgery being performed by Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Atlanta. We are in an ongoing dispute with CareCredit/Synchrony, which has treated the charge as valid based on signed intake/treatment plan/financing documents, without confirming that the procedure actually took place through clinical documentation (for example: procedure notes, anesthesia record, extraction/implant charting, implant serial/lot numbers, radiographs taken day-of, dated post-op instructions, or other records tied to an actual date of service). We have filed a criminal complaint with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. Please use caution, ask detailed questions before authorizing any financing, and consider getting multiple opinions/quotes.

    (Warning‼ to Potential Clients! 1-Star Review…read more I am sharing my experience at Aesthetic Implant Dentistry of Atlanta to warn potential clients--especially those on a budget or relying on financing--to research carefully before choosing this office. I originally applied for a loan through their office for a procedure I specifically requested. After the loan was approved, I was later informed by Dr. Motoban that the procedure would no longer be possible. In spite of that, the finance company had already paid the office, and I was now obligated to repay the loan for a procedure I was no longer getting. When I requested that the loan be canceled in August, the office stopped responding. For nearly three months, they gave me the runaround and avoided assisting me in any way to rectify the situation. During this period, I was forced to pay on a loan I could not use, while the office refused to cooperate with the finance company to cancel it. My calls were screened, and messages were ignored by the office. I live an hour away, so the only way to get any type of response was to show up in person unannounced. I went into this process very insecure about my smile. They took advantage of that and knew it would fuel me to follow whatever they suggested in order to get approved for a higher loan limit. Once that higher loan was denied, they ceased all communication with me entirely. It wasn't until I began pursuing professional outside options that the office suddenly claimed everything had been an "oversight." What they refused to resolve for nearly four months, they completed in ten minutes once outside pressure was applied. When I finally went to the office in tears, the office manager's "NEW‼ assistant (Mrs. Morah) who had just started and was not involved in the earlier communication--showed genuine kindness and empathy toward me. I shared with her how this experience had terribly affected my credit. Sadly, Dr. Motoban refused to honor my cancellation request and even instructed her not to give me a receipt after I mentioned the possibility of legal action. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage potential clients to read reviews carefully, ask questions, and be cautious--especially if you are working with limited finances or relying on payment plans. Patients deserve transparency, honesty, and respectful treatment from start to finish.
