THIS IS A CASH ONLY BUSINESS! I made that mistake and I don't want you to make the same. They do have an ATM on site. However, the perks of cash only is that their prices are very fair. I went in for a wash, cut, and blow out. It was a good and quick experience. My hair came out very nice and soft. Internally, you can tell that the place is a slight mess. In terms of keeping track of appointments, they use sticky notes that are just all over the place on the mirrors. There are also two nail tables. I came to crazy cuts back in January 2025 and got my haircut by some woman named "Blanckie" or "Blancky" and she really did a number on my hair. She cut soo much that my hair still hasn't fully recovered and looks unhealthy. I had long beautiful hair and she basically went rouge on my hair. I remember mentioning to her that my hair is going to take years go grow back... and she tried to reassure me that it would grow back by the summer, but guess what, it hasn't. The staff was very polite with me and was very welcoming. Once I stepped in the door my mom got there before and she said that she also got the same treatment. Which I am glad to hear. It's pretty 80s vibe early 90s vibes. My stylist (Ana or Anna ) she took her time and was very detailed from my bangs to the back of my hair . I had my haircut in long layers. What I appreciated more is that she really took her time doing it I have been rushed before and out the door by other people I'm not saying at this salon I'm saying in another one. I found for my forever stylist until she leaves me hanging lol. And there's different types of hairstylists here I've noticed more for the younger crowd the middle aged crowd and older . So you will find a hairstylist is here and affordable price and with a great attitude ready to help you out. I came for the first time because my original hair salon was booked for new year weekend so I took a chance and came here because someone referred me but I don't think l'll be returning. I got my hair cut 8 months prior so my hair was in healthy condition I just needed for my tips to be cut so I could continue growing my hair long so I let the stylist know that I just wanted my tips cut no more than 2 inches and some layers but she still went ahead and cut my hair this short for no reason after I had almost reached my hair length goal ‍ aside from that I was told that I'd be getting my hair washed BEFORE getting my hair cut so I didn't wash it prior to going but that also didn't happen stylist just dampened my hair with spray and got to it & didn't bother asking If I wanted a dry cut or a wash which I didn't like either , staff was nice just service wasn't it for me . So far so good! I've come back to this place a couple of times since I moved to this area, I've had my hair cut a few times by different ladies and my hair comes out just the way I want it. Granted, I only get a haircut nothing else. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the waiting area. The waiting area is a few chairs in the front behind the windows and OH MY GOD IT GETS HOT and uncomfortable!! There's nothing to do but just be hot until it's your turn. I've been getting my haircut at Crazy Cuts for 15+ years. I used to go to their location on Santa Monica and now I live closer to the one on Western ave. What can I say? Haircuts for me are $10, there is a private parking lot, they have plenty of stylists so unless you go at a peak time you shouldn't have much of a wait and they have done a great job with my hair. I had gotten a haircut with a very nice lady but she barely spoke English so I wanted my hair shorter and she cut it shorter but I wanted my hair even shorter but didn't want to bother with it because I was getting anxiety with it behind hard to communicate so I paid, tipped her and left. The next day I tried to trim my hair a little bit but screwed it up. I called up to see if they could just give me a buzz cut for free really quickly and she said "No, since it wasn't our mistake, you will have to be charged again." I didnt have time to make an appointment at my usual nail place so in a time crunch I chose to come here . The wait was only 30 mins & the nail tech was super nice but when i got home & took a close look at my fill i was very disappointed :( . As you can see in the pictures the fill doesn't go all the way to the cuticles of my nails(these were done yesterday). The fill was only $20 plus tip & I think maybe the nail tech was in a hurry but sadly wont be going back. They cut hair really good though! No only is their customer service horrible in person. But it is my nagging suspicion that they bully people who give them bad reviews. The person below me: "Lidia" has left no other reviews beyond the obvious fake review for this horrid place. In addition, she messaged me shortly after I left the review telling me to make an appointment and not to be a cry baby. I honestly don't mind that I didn't get a haircut that day, because if their service is anything like their demeanor, I would have better hair sticking my head under a lawn mower. But even so, I attempted to make an appointment by calling ahead, and it didn't work... Speaking of calling, I called back to see if Lidia worked there. I called and asked for Lidia and was quickly hung up on. There is a laundry list of things I'd rather do than visit this establishment, including, but not limited to; sanding off all my skin and jumping into a vat of salt. If this were the last place on earth with scissors, I'd stand outside shouting for people to let their hair grow free as my thick locks of curly hair glistened in the California sun! This place is a sham, full of rats. I don't think a random person would ever attack somebody for writing a yelp review while giving them instructions. But in either case, I don't mind writing a bad review of this place based off of experience. p.s. do you really want to get you hair cut at a place where defenders of its policy use the phrase "crybaby" in a serious context? Wow! What a terrible experience here... I just received the worst haircut I've had in a long time! If you are a guy, or if you care about your hair at all, say no to coming here! I know I will never be back. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and I asked if they could do that for me. I wanted a pretty basic men's cut. I told them I wanted it exactly like in the picture. I had long, 5-6inch hair coming in and wanted about 2 1/2 inches on top and about 1 1/2 in on the sides and back. So she cuts my sides down to an inch and by bangs down to an inch and the rest of my hair down to an inch and a half.... I look like a rat. It made no sense! Then she asks, "is that good? Or do you want shorter?" Really?! Can you go any shorter? What you want to take the first layer of my scalp off? No thanks.... I tipped her 20% only because I've been a server and tips are important to me. But really, I deserve my money back and reimbursement for her ruining my attractiveness levels for the next month. This place is great! Its close to my home, and has free parking. They do everything! So there is no need for me to get a cut /color and then go to an other place to get my nails and wax. They do it all here. I normally get my nails done by Marissa! She has magic hands! Makes every pedicure an awesome experience! For hair; i like to go with Emma, she is soft handed (im tender headed) she is very attentive about how i want my hair cut/style/colored. I have tried the other stylist and while they do a great job these 2 are my fav. I definitely recommend this place if you want an easy acces full service salon. read more
