This place is great! Its close to my home, and has free parking. They do everything! So there is no need for me to get a cut /color and then go to an other place to get my nails and wax. They do it all here. I normally get my nails done by Marissa! She has magic hands! Makes every pedicure an awesome experience! For hair; i like to go with Emma, she is soft handed (im tender headed) she is very attentive about how i want my hair cut/style/colored. The best hair salon for men and women in LA. I especially love the expertise of Doris who is a brilliant colorist. When it comes to cutting hair no one does it better. I have been going there for about 7 years.I usually want something different and Doris always delivers. I sent two of my friends that have beautiful, but very fussy about their hair. Both said that Doris gave them the best cut that they had recieved in 20 years. George owns and is very friendly. The place is clean and you can't do better. Only hard for parking because of construction, but park on the side street next to the new Emerson College. It is a must see in itself. I have had Rodeo Drive cuts and nothing is better than Crazy Cuts by Doris. If she is not there Maria is wonderful too. read more

I'm always very dubious of trying new salons. I grew up with a mother who was a hairdresser, so I expect all haircuts to be cheap (free in mom's case), convenient, and easy. I decided to try Crazy Cuts on a whim today, primarily because of how close it is to my apartment. I waited maybe three minutes when I got there before Maggie came and took care of me. I was very impressed by her attention to detail, especially given that I asked for a precise, difficult cult (sorry Maggie!). Asked for a quarter of an inch off. She look 2 or 3 inches off... I also asked for a very subtle layer, and I ended up with some hairs so ridiculously short. The layers are not blended either. They are bulky and awkward looking. I walked in there with beautiful long hair and walked out with an ugly short, very unattractive style. It does not even belong to this decade. I've been looking for a good inexpensive haircut and I found it with Ramona. $15 for a quick cut that is better than other places that charge much more and take an hour. The only downside is that parking can be tough. They do have a parking lot, but it is very busy. read more

Since meeting my husband, we have been coming here for more than 6 years and I've never had anything negative to say about this place. My husband has gotten his hair cut with Marta and since having my son she is the only one to cut my hair, my sons and my husbands hair. They are very kind, always entertaining whenever we come wether it's with TV or music. Price is reasonable and it's cash only which is understandable. We don't go anywhere else and don't mind the drive to LA. They do have a ATM available inside which is great. They are very flexible if you are running late to your appointment. So I yelped for a place by near I was stay in and crazy cuts seemed close by I don't really know LA like that so I didn't want to go far from were I was staying at. I came In and a young woman approached me asking if I had a appointment I said no she was like I can give u a cut. she greeted me she introduced herself to me as Emma. She Was Really Friendly and nice, she asked what I wanted to get I ended up getting a mid fade with 0 on the bottom. So, this place wasn't too bad, there were just certain things that got under my skin a bit. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and only had to wait about five minutes. Both ladies I spoke with were very nice and accommodating. When they sat me down, it was at a little setup smack dab in the middle of the salon. Ordinarily it's in a back room or something, but that's not what got to me. The wax looked like it had been sitting there a VERY long time and she was scraping the bottom to get enough to put on my eyebrows. The stick also had a burn mark and had clearly been sitting there for a long time. It also looked like it had been used. read more

I always get my haircut from Karen! She's awesome and does an amazing job. She has done different men's styles on me, Fohawk, taper, comb over with the slit on the side. She uses razors as well which makes the style that much better. She also does my eyebrows and face shaves and does an excellent job. She leaves me feeling 10x better then when I first walked in. Staff there are awesome too and they don't charge an arm and a leg like other places. Just make sure to tip decently they deserve it! read more

In the midst of running errands today, I stopped by Crazy Cuts for a quick trim. My hair had become out of control and simply too long. I walked in and was instantly seated. I told my hair dresser (I didn't catch her name) that I simply wanted a trim. She asked if I wanted layers and I agreed, but nothing too extreme. She effortlessly started snipping away and polished up my bangs as well. When it was all said and done it was one of the quickest and best looking hair cuts I have ever had. I've been to certain salons where the stylist gets too carried away with the scissors, but my hair dresser today kept things modest and precise. The cut only cost $15.00 too! Super fast, super cheap, it was a great experience. However, they're a cash-only operation so be sure to stop by the ATM before coming in. My only complaint is not just exclusive to this salon, but seems to be the case for every salon in this city, I don't understand why blow-drys are extra! Especially if you're not asking for any special blow-out, but just to leave the salon with dry hair. Oh well. read more

Thank god for Sonia! After going to Audrey's hair salon and getting the worst butcher job of my life I read the reviews, took a second risk (crazy I know) and couldn't be happier!! She completely fixed the butcher job while keeping as much length as possible (which wasn't much after Audrey's and I had really long hair). She also did my partial highlights. I love the color and cut and it was a really good price. I have found my new hair stylist. That's the silver lining! She's the friendliest person I've found to do my hair and she always does my hair exactly how I want it.
