He does not like just anyone but loves Janice and her employees! My Labrador, is a handful, however they manage him just fine. I also have a horse who is quite aggressive and intimidating. We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

She took such great care of Scamper years ago, that we hired her to care for our other cat while we went out of the country for 3 weeks. She administered meds and fluids, made sure she had plenty of water and food and cleaned the litter box. Alesia and Angie (her assistant) sent us pictures so we knew Hunter was well cared for. We also had a house sitter at the time and there were some things Alesia thought were amiss. She contacted us and let us know what was going on and we had to let our house sitter go. She is a highly ethical person who went above and beyond what we had hired her for. I can't say enough. I would trust my pet and my home with Alesia and her assistant Angie anytime. We weren't bringing him in for a dog event, and seen that they are pro-groomers (which I agree with!) We weren't a huge fan of the grooming, just because we specifically wanted his legs to be stubby and to not cut down too much. We do wish they didn't shave the feet so far up. Usually it's not too high up and the fur from the legs cover it up a little. For us, we make sure to well groom our dog to avoid any shaving and make it easier for the groomer and make sure to grown his fur on his legs and face out especially due to how we like it groomed. The ears weren't what we described as well, but we cut it more ourselves. There were some spots with shorter hair then the rest and some long hairs sticking out which I fixed at home. It wasn't a fit for us, but appreciate the job that was done because Jax does look clean. I do groom at home so I'll fix up his ears. We did say we're open to "creativeness" so that's fair, but we meant it in a different way hahahah! We give our groomers grace because we know how hard it is, but I also love to be honest about it :) He also came home with a bow which is so cute! Price: $103! And the most expensive we did spend for a grooming for him. We still tipped because she did great, just not the style we wanted. Parking was great and easy to get to, and they have many services. I do want to go back to this place maybe one day but we'll have to see :)
