If you value your hair don't go!!! all I was scheduled for was a highlight lowlight( I have the text appointment) just to break up the blonde , Ericha, OMG I don't have a clue what she thought she knew what she was doingI had red roots and grey ends and instead of breaking up the thick blonde streaks she broke them off my head TONERS are only used when you just don't get it right and don't know what your doing, as told corrective color another line of Bull I called the next day after washing my hair and seeing all the damage and multi red orange grey and green under over processed hair numerous calls and PICS sent per Crazy Mullet request NO Response, Its a bubble gum fad place good with koolaid colors but not for high end styles I had to have it CORRECTED by Lisette Ocasio and sent PICS still No response . Went today for the first time on something of a whim. Jaclyn was my stylist, and really hair therapist. She saw what my last hair dresser did (at a different salon, the worst cut in my experience) and explained exactly how she was going to fix it! She even gave me a game plan for long term how to achieve the look I want. Definitely will be keeping true to this place! Great location, small, not too loud, all friendly staff. I started coming here a couple of months ago and have been very happy with my cut. I have thick curly hair (i.e. DIFFICULT) and have a hard time trusting sylists to cut my hair and know what they're doing. I've had a great experience thus far and have definitely found my Cleveland area stylist. Also, I'm originally from out of town and was shocked by how cheap the prices are too. Tried a new stylist on my last trip to 'The Mullet' and was pleased as punch by the color/cut. Exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately, it also cost about $40 more than round 1, but that seems pretty standard around Cleveland so I can't complain too loudly. Would definately recommend CM! read more

I have been going here for 8 years seeing Ericha. I made an appointment with her today but had to change it to 630 with another girl. I go in early and the lady says she can't find me in the system for any appointments at all. I leave for college tomorrow which is 3 hours away and need my haircut. I asked if I could be squeezed in for 15 minutes to even rinse and cut my hair and not style it. Ericha said she was booked this week and she was sorry they couldn't fit me in. Do they not know what loyalty means? 8 years, homecoming hair, prom up-do regular appointments each year, but I guess they forgot what customer service and loyalty is. I just had a great time here. Got a cut and color (partial highlights) on a whim because I needed a refresher. I didn't ask for a certain stylist, rather, spoke with the front desk and said what I needed. They fit me in with Chelsea. Jenny is the greatest! I went here on a suggestion of a coworker. I am really picky about my hair and so is my partner so we were really afraid to try someone new. Jenny has managed to do both of our hair exactly the way we wanted it every time. She also is super friendly and always willing to try something new with you. I have been going here for over a year & now need to find a new place. I had a haircut scheduled days prior with Jenny Barto at 7. I even got there early, but left at 7:30 pm, waiting for over a half hour without the stylist ever saying "hey I will be right with you" or any other explanation. I felt this was very rude because I looked forward to getting my hair cut, now I have to look for another stylist, which is so hard to do. I had to choose a new place to get my hair cut in Lakewood. I am a simple guy and only needed a simple cut. There are tons of barbershops and hair salons, both chains and private to choose from. After searching online and trying to weed through the reviews, the only thing that caught my attention was John at CM. I gave it a shot and have been very pleased. John is really an excellent stylist (although I don't really need a "style"). In my opinion he is technically excellent. He is very thorough and listens to what I want done. He is engaging and seems to have his head on straight. I would recommend him, but from a selfish standpoint I don't want to wait to get an appt because he is so busy! I look at the empty chairs around him and know people recognize a professional. They also recognize who is not. The salon itself is only mediocre. it is not the cleanest I have been in. What once probably was a comfy couch now seems more like a left over frat house couch. The styling stations are screwed in place (will they decide to leave on their own?). Very weird. Seems like they are running on a shoestring budget, and it shows. I don't need fancy. Just up to date and clean would work well. It does not have the most professional staff. I have walked in early for appts only to see lunch being ordered as the main event of the moment. That itself is not as bad as when I have walked in and seen lunch being eaten at the receptionist desk! Gross. The receptionists dress like they just rolled off the curb from a hard night out. I have never interacted with the female stylists, so I can't offer anything. There is another male stylist who would make me walk out before he touched my hair. He very well may be a gifted stylist with a loyal following. But I don't know how I can trust someone to care about my personal image when they clearly don't care about their own. He dresses so unprofessional I couldn't tell you if he was a stylist or a guy ordering a cup of coffee. In closing, John Is really a talented and professional stylist. He warrants all the excellent reviews he gets. He likely could step out on his own, or move to a higher end salon, and continue to build his client base (and make a lot more money). CM, you have someone you should be thankful you have in your salon. Now get the rest of the place and staff up to standards. read more

I want to give it 0 stars because of my haircut with Jon but I've been going there for two years to see a different stylist who has now moved, and he was great with my hair. I went to Jon and asked for a very layered shoulder length haircut. He gave me a cut just below the shoulder but with almost no layers. He styled my hair wavy and didn't show me the back so I didn't realize until later. The cut was nice but not what I asked. I came back to get more layers. I showed the stylist where I want my layers to start so I can add lots of volume and he cut all my layers that length. The bottom half of my hair is not layered at all, just 4 inches of straight hair. He literally gave me a mullet! It is literally the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. They have a clause that states if they do not do your hair to your liking they will fix it. ..however it is up to their discretion (and good luck finding a stylist that will admit this). My appointment was canceled AS I was walking in (stylist had an emergency w her dog) and despite the fact that it was scheduled for a special occasion they did nothing to try and help. I HAD to request a different stylist (& as stated in other reviews the receptionist is not helpful/nice) so i was sent to the other location and was very unhappy w how the finished product came out. ...however instead of offering to fix my now fried hair, i was told it would be better for the company and i to part ways. ..leaving me w damaged hair and a promise never to go back! . My mom is always getting nagged by all family members about how her hair is not styled right, and her awning style bangs are so out of style. She finally went to Crazy Mullets in hopes to meet someone that can lead her in the right direction. She has very thin hair and has always wanted layers but upon arriving there she was told "layers dont work for thin hair". Instead, they gave her an awwwfullllll short hair cut with bangs straight across. I really think they should have taken into consideration the shape and fullness of her face, and the fact that she is going to be 51 this year and cant have a cute young hair cut, before they cut her hair to her chin.
