I have been going to this Salon since 2007. It's the real "first of it's kind in the cleveland/suburb area. And it is a place that specializes in pampering men. Trust me, I don't drink or watch sports and I still totally get why they have wine, beer, sports to watch. It's a place to get a haircut on a whole other level. What compels me to write this review is that this salon used to be owned by another person and the real heart and soul of that Salon was two girls that seemed to stand out. Anita and Josie. Anita is the new owner and I used to think all those years that the way she treated people, she should of been the owner. Oh, not that the original owner was bad. Just NOTHING like Anita. Anita puts SO MUCH heart into what she does that she sometimes worries too much about how people feel. Almost like she seems devastated if you are not happy. Trust me, I have been going there for several years and have personally witnessed the amount of heart this woman puts into the Salon. Even to the point where if I needed to come in an hour before the salon opened, this girl would open it up just for me. NOW THAT'S SERVICE! And more importantly. There is a clear difference between service and heart. There are many places that offer great to exceptional service. And I understand that sometimes it takes another caring person to see just how much heart people put into their job. YET the thing that makes this place the best I have ever been to is the depth of their heart. Hope that made sense. And she has Josie by her side. WOW, Josie is amazing with clippers. And she does straight edge razor cuts to line you up too. I use Josie all the time now because she does that special razor cut that no one else does there. I don't do anything but the "house cut or boss cut". It is more expensive, but the experience and pampering is awesome! I realize that this place is not for ALL guys. Guys that find no value in extra's may not go nuts over this place. But guys that want to feel like a king and be pampered by woman without pissing off your wife in the process, this is the place to be! If I had a few suggestions to make, this is a couple: 1. Fix the back entrance where the AC does not drip on people coming through the door, lol. 2. Always make sure to ask the guy if he wants the door closed. I personally do not like others seeing me get pampered. I know, maybe quirky, but I want the doors closed and the lights down, lol. 3. You sometimes have younger girls work there. Be very careful about that. The ONLY reason why I swear by your place is because the amount of PURE/REAL/HONEST heart that people like Anita and Josie put into that business. I don't feel that from the other girls there. (not a negative comment) Just that you must continue to coach the others to believe in the core of what you are doing there with all their heart. Example; I got my cut from another girl because Anita was out for a couple weeks. I asked the girl to be flexible with the next appointment and you could just tell that she was young and acted somewhat like your average person who collects a paycheck. She showed no real passion to pamper you on every level. Which was the opposite of what you get from Josie and Anita. Although the haircut was still awesome. Just did not see the heart in some of the other people there between the years of 2007 to present. The previous owner was there a lot when I first started going there and she was pretty cool. But you slowly noticed that she removed herself from the business and that created a negative vibe about the business. (not the staff per say). In fact, when I found out that Anita was not there anymore (that was temporary) I canceled my next appointment and even though I literally had $150 in gift cards that my wife got me, I refused to go there when I thought the real heart and soul of that salon was gone. Recently I heard she bought the place. That Anita deserves your loyalty and that's why I am back there again. The woman will go to the ends of the earth to make people happy. By the way, I feel really bad I missed your grand re-opening thingy. I actually know how important that was to you girls. Oh, one more thing. I love it when you use your nails to scratch my head when washing/conditioner. Ask the guy if he likes that and do more of it! That would totally step up the experience if you almost put someone to sleep massaging their scalp. Ok, I am ready for my next appointment now! lol read more

I would never go here again nor would I recommend anyone else to. The location and atmosphere inside is very well done. I was welcomed by the receptionist and took my seat. Then proceeded to wait 15 minutes past my appointment before I was brought in. I should have known from there. My stylist was Erin. I proceeded to tell her I was new to the area and about to leave for a vacation. I wanted a haircut before I went. I pulled out a printed sheet with six photos. I told Erin this is how I want my hair to look. Let's please start long and go shorter. In my pictures the hair on top of my head is roughly 3.5 inches long. I am male. She proceeds to turn me sideways so I cannot see my cut and quickly rushed through. The entire cut probably lasted twenty minutes. It was one of the worst cuts I've ever gotten. I would have been better off with a buzz cut. It was uneven and in many parts she cut INTO my hairline. The hair on the top of my head was roughly 3/4 to 1 inch long. Not nearly what I had in my pictures; which by the way, she never glanced at during my cut. She then proceeded to argue with me that her cut matched my photos. Erin argued with me, the customer. I had the photos directly in front of me. It was obvious they didn't match. I was offered that I did not have to pay. OF course I wouldn't. I am going to have to go somewhere else to get a buzz cut so it can at least be symmetrical. My high spirits for the weekend have been dampened a bit. I've been seeing Rachel and Jordan for some time now and it's nice to walk into a place of business where you are recognized and appreciated as a customer. Rachel is talented so with very little guidance she'll have you looking great and on your way. In addition to a basic haircut, you get a neck massage, a hot towel with some moisturizer on your face and a scalp massage along with your hair wash. It's very, very relaxing and is a total stress reliever. I often get the upgrade which is a facial and while I've not had one before coming here, I can tell you that it's a great experience. If you've not had one, I strongly recommend it. These two ladies are masters of their craft and the environment is totally geared towards men. Comfortable chairs, ESPN on the flatscreens, modern (but not loud or obnoxious) music, hardwood floors and masculine colors on the wall. Looking for something ten notches above a Lady Janes or a Great Clips experience but without the fussiness of a typical salon? Love this place. I moved back to Cleveland about a year ago and tried 3 or 4 other places before finding them. It's relatively easy to get appointments and they always do a great job. Nice atmosphere, craft beer if you're thirsty, and quality products. The single most important thing for me is being able to do it how I want it, and then replicating that the next time I'm in. It's shocking to me that Lindsay is the first stylist I've ever been to that actually writes down how I like it cut. Seems so simple, but it's a major point of differentiation that she cares that much. Ask for her. Prices are perfectly reasonable, but of course you'll pay more than Great Clips or whatever. I had the greatest experience when I went to The reagle beagle. I had Josie as my barber. She did a great job with my hair and my fiance loved it. I have never had so many compliments. She also gave me a razor shave on my face that was so relaxing. I have never seen such a salon like this in all my years of getting my haircut. The atmosphere is so welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. The girls are all beautiful and friendly. Not only are they beautiful, but extremely talented. I have been to many salons where they dont know how to cut hair but the Reagle Beagle has it all. I cant wait till I can drink some beer at The reagle Beagle with my buddies. The shop is meticulously clean, has a cool vibe, and offers the best hospitality ever. I did not have a scheduled appointment, but no worries here. Lindsey took care of me right away. This I have to say is one of the Best Salons for men in Cleveland. All the girls do an excellant job with the haircuts and massage but Josie is my #1 Barber to go to. My son recommended Reagle beagle to me, while I'm in Cleveland for a few weeks. The salon is clean and nice. But where the rubber meets the road -- the haircut. Excellent. The best I've had in years (and with my thinning hair it gets harder for the barber as time goes on). Highly recommend. I had a really good experience here. I have now been back for a few months and wont go anywhere else. I had Jordan as my stylist and she did an amazing job and really knows how to cut hair.
