Let me start by saying this was an Uber eats order! With that being said, my expectations were not super high. BOY WAS I WRONG! The medium (2 scoop) bowl was filled to the top with my toppings of choice. The tuna was fresh and tasty, and the quinoa was cooked perfectly. I had some items in my bowls here that weren't my favorite, but majority of the items I've ordered here have been pretty enjoyable. I have tried their poke with white rice...citrus kale, and their cauliflower rice, but overall.....the rice definitely tastes the best with all the toppings. I wasn't crazy about the cauliflower rice since they serve it cold, and had kind of a dusty texture. I do think they skimp on the sauce a bit. If you like things nice and saucy like I do, I would opt for the up-charge for an extra side of sauce. Their tuna has always been fresh, and I looooove their hamachi. I would probably suggest avoiding their spicy tuna, and get their ahi tuna instead if you are not into smashed tuna. I like my tuna cubed and fresh. The smashed texture kind of reminds me of raw, ground beef to be honest. Now that I kind of played around with their toppings, I would say Crazy Poke is one of the best pokes in the neighborhood. read more

This is one of the best meals I have enjoyed in Miami and especially in Wynwood. Many of the spots in Wynwood are touristy and expensive, Crazy Poke gives you a really good value for your dollar though. Poke has taken this new meaning as it has expanded and is much more than what Hawaiians are used to. I'd almost say its a fusion between sushi and traditional poke now. What makes Crazy Poke good? Great fish quality to start. My salmon was great and so was the Maine Lobster (seasonal special) that I had on top. WOW. Everyone should put Maine Lobster on their menu, because that is perfect on a poke bowl especially with their Spice Mayo which was also excellent. Sauce is important for poke bowls. How much is put on and the sauce itself will make everything work together. The sushi rice on the bottom of the bowl was also good. Finally the toppings here are really great and creative. They have plantain chips as a topping option and that is so Miami, but also delicious. The chips were fresh and not hard at all! Nori flakes were awesome and one of the things I truly loved was the Wasabi Pea option. These were excellent. Anyone who buys these regularly knows that they don't stay fresh long so I was happy that my Wasabi Peas tasted great. Everything here was quality. The two scoop option for $12.95 is fair for Wynwood and Miami. I added Maine Lobster and Avocado (upcharge) which landed me at $16, but I would happily pay it again. This place is great. One of my new favorite restaurants. The poke bowls are consistently delicious, meaning all ingredients especially the fish is fresh. Most importantly, the balance of flavors and ingredients in their signature bowls is just right. A lot of thought went into creating the menu and their isn't excessive use of onions or other flavors that can be overpowering. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Tuna bowl and the Yuzu Kosho Salmon Bowl. The sauces are all phenomenal and I recommend the ponzu lime and the spicy shoyu. Stumbled into Crazy Poke one inebriated afternoon not realizing how good it was going to be. Some poke spots I've tried lacked in flavor or freshness. Crazy poke brought on both. It's a casual spot where you can build your own poke bowl or choose from one of their signature bowls. I chose their spicy tuna bowl. The two scoops options included a generous portion of tuna. The rice was okay. I did like that they had some extra toppings you could choose from to add your own touch to the bowl. My boyfriend tried the citrus shrimp bowl which was light and refreshing, but if eaten alone, would have become a bit boring flavorwise compared to the spicy tuna. So we kept switching bowls to get the best of both worlds. They also serve beer here. And if you check in on Yelp, they'll give you a complimentary mochi ice cream - it's a small one but the Thai ice tea flavor was great and I was tempted to purchase a full-sized one. Had lunch at Crazy Poke on Sunday afternoon. Ordered a large Build Your Own Bowl with Spicy Tuna and Salmon. Quality What better time than Yelp Restaurant Week to try out a new poke spot, and Crazy Poke turned out to be a good one. This newer addition to the Wynwood food scene is already putting forth a solid showing with its tasty and fresh food. They offer about eight different signature bowls and also provide the option to build your own. I decided to get a Build Your Own Bowl with a Sushi Rice base and Spicy Tuna and Salmon as my proteins. I have to say the sushi rice was not my favorite. It seemed like it had been sitting too long, so it was very mushy. But the fish more than made up for it. I loved both the Spicy Tuna and the Salmon, each an extremely fresh option and each scooped on in large quantities. The flavor of the Spicy Tuna was excellent and I ended up adding to that zing with some wasabi peas, jalapeno peppers, and spicy mayo. And as is typically my choice, I also added on seaweed salad as an extra. Some of the unique options at Crazy Poke are the choices of albacore and shrimp as proteins, hijike seaweed and ogo seaweed as toppings, and roasted macadamia nuts as a crunch. In all I left quite happy with my meal at Crazy Poke. Quantity The larger size poke bowl comes with a lot of food, including three scoops of the proteins that you select. It was definitely one of the few times I truly left satisfied after eating poke. Value The large build your own bowl was $16 before any add ons. But with three large scoops of fish, I felt it still was a solid deal. As is always the case it is hard not to snag a few add-ons, so I would expect the meal to round out to around $20. That is why I was glad to take advantage of the special 30% discount from Yelp. Ambiance Crazy Poke is located in Wynwood, about a block west of the main stretch, and very much in the heart of all the recent construction. Housed in a relatively small space, it follows the design of many other poke spots. Simple, clean, and fast-casual. You enter and are immediately met with the counter displaying the many items available. You walk down the glass barrier with a staff member as your bowl is constructed in front of you. The space is remarkably clean and it makes you feel good about the food you are about to consume. Limited seating can be found inside with about a half-dozen tables along the right wall, however take-out is an easy option as well. I appreciated that in the back corner they have cucumber water set-up for visitors to enjoy. In the background they had some R&B music playing at a light volume. Crowd There was one other small group, but the store was pretty empty. It was the day after St. Patrick's Day, so it probably was not the only business off to a slow start after the previous day's festivities. However, I worry that the construction may negatively impact this food spot like some of its neighbors. Service The workers behind the counter were great. Friendly, complimentary, and a great help. There was a little confusion in figuring out the Yelp discount, but the cashier kindly let us eat our food while he worked out the kinks. Parking Tons of construction is going on right outside Crazy Poke's location. As such, I chose to park about two blocks west along NW 5th Avenue and walk over. A pleasant stroll and the chance to check out the art, plus no worries about limited spaces or piles of dust headed towards your vehicle. Extra I feel like with poke I'm relatively easy to please. Fresh fish, some spice, and good ratios from start to finish. Crazy Poke delivered all of that and at a price I could stomach. They are definitely a solid choice when craving poke. read more
