Both the manufacturer and authorized dealer said the top was installed improperly. Manufacturer will not cover warranty and 41Seven Off-road says it's not their fault. They also offered to remove all of the rust from the frame and coat it with rust inhibitors. After giving me a price, I decided to move forward with the repair. In short summary, the work they did was very impressive. The frame looks fantastic and will hold for many years to come. I will admit, it seems like the repair was rushed at the end since they missed a few spots of rust, some patches of frame not painted, and a few other minor things. I called the shop after leaving a review stating these observations and I received excellent customer service. They picked up my vehicle the next day, fixed the mistakes, and even threw in an upgrade for my vehicle for free. In the end, I am a very happy customer. I found the main coolant hose leading to the engine had been sliced along the length of the hose. The mysterious cut was about two inches long. I since joined the military and moved, but my other family members have been able to convince my grandparents to not take their vehicles to this place. Now they can save their retirement fund instead of wasting it on this sorry excuse for a repair shop.

Does that happen? 5 minutes later this team ignores the calls, the credit card info provided from this long term customer and they require my family to Purchase a battery and then require further that they hand over the old one - and rather than test it for possible warranty coverage discard it like they do the decency that once accompanied customer relationships. So now I am out two battery purchases which should have been covered by warranty because they cannot communicate among their own team. Further right before I left for my work assignment they tried to shake me down to fix an alleged oil leak for $5,000.00 on a 2019 XT5. That's odd, still haven't put in any additional oil and a separate independent mechanic has no idea why the costs would have been so high - other than they thought they could. Be wary, hide your wallet, and you may want to consider a different Cadlilac dealer as these folks have lost their way.
