If you're driving down the 72 and wondering where to stop for food, your search is over. Wander past the corporate fast food joints deep into Iuka's downtown to this cute little piece of Americana. The downtown landscape looks like the Old Wild West, an icon you'd find in Nevada not the South. When you walk into Cream and Sugar Cafe and you'll be greeted with "Sit wherever makes you smile". We got the Patty Melt and a burger. The Patty Melt was yummy and the food came fast. Service was friendly and completely on top of anything we needed, even during a busy lunch rush. This little place is darling !!! We are in from out of town and when here we normally go toward Corinth. This trip Ive been a bit under the weather so we didn't want to go far. I am SO HAPPY we didn't !!! Food was delish!!! Hubs had the meat lovers omelet. I had french toast. So good. So fresh. But the food wasn't even the best part. The service was Ritz Carlton good. The owners were engaging and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The music was contemporary Christian and there were really great scriptures noted on the board. Such a good choice!!! The most unique menu with delicious blends of foods. I highly recommend the meatloaf melt, chicken salad, and grilled 4 cheese! But go ahead and add bacon or ham or both. Sooo good!! Heard the servers talking and I felt sorry for them. If a server is working alone and waiting tables by herself the owners management makes the one server that worked alone entire shift share her tips with the other servers who was not working. We are from out of town. We have visited this place many times as we travel through. I typically get a build your own omelette. With crispy breakfast potatoes as the side. I have 4 young kids and love that I can order exactly what they each want a la carte. And it's very affordable. The kids pancake is huge ! Their pasta salad side is delicious. I love this little restaurant! We have been 4-5 times on Saturday morning for breakfast, and it never disappoints. Even in a crowd, service is fast and friendly. For breakfast I've had the pancake combo with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon, an egg and cheese wrap add ham, peppers, and onion with a side of hash browns twice, and the "classic breakfast" once. Everything has been great. I especially loved the pancakes. I'm picky about my coffee... I drink it black... and that was good too! My husband has gotten the loaded B&G four times! That's how much he likes it.. he doesn't try anything new. Except once.. he was in the mood for lunch and had the burger. I can't remember which one, but he said it was good. For a sweet snack they have ice cream and milk shakes. They also have cookies that are AMAZING when they are warmed. The cookie would be my recommendation. For sure. Noise level is average, and the crowd hasn't been too bad. We have had to wait for a table to be cleaned, but never longer than 2-3 minutes. read more

Lovely little restaurant in downtown Iuka in a restored front street corner building. Signage is not too great but look for most cars parked in front and you'll have no trouble finding it. Went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning and service was fast and friendly. Our first meals were the meat lovers omelet and the Cinnamon Roll French toast. The cinnamon roll french toast was basically a split and grilled cinnamon roll which tasted great but was somewhat remote to conventional french toast. I could taste no element of a custard dip and it was coma inducing sweet, but good. If you are a fan of grilled honey buns, you will love this. I saw awesome looking pancakes go by and wish I had tried those. The meat lovers omelet was great as well as scrambled eggs and really good sausage. Country fried potatoes were good. The biscuit was adequate but not homemade. The restaurant is new and really seems to be well run. Great pancakes and biscuits deserve real butter. I hope the owners will banish the anonymous "whipped spread" and move up a notch, their food is worthy of it. read more

My wife and I tried cream and sugar out this morning for the first time. We had heard all this wonderful stuff about the restaurant and had to see what the rave was about. We were not disappointed. Christian music and a Christian atmosphere and friendly service is just what this preacher-man wanted. The food was excellent. My wife had the avocado Benedict and I had the meat lovers pancakes. My wife liked the meal a lot. I was amazed at the size of the pancakes. They took up the whole plate. THERE WAS MEAT(bacon and sausage)IN THE PANCAKE. I loved it.
