We were both very pleased with our choices. The bartender was very kind, attentive, and helpful. Prices were reasonable and wait times were non-existent. Woohoo! The seating area is huge and stocked with fun lawn games from giant jenga, connect four, and bags. Endless entertainment to be had with friends. There are also bathrooms with a key if you need! And plenty of parking. We loved our time at the Tap Yard at Schlitz Park and we look forward to our next visit!

We live near by this river-front spot, so it's safe to say this is our new go-to spot for happy hour drinks and to enjoy the sunny summer weather. We've already walked here a handful of times and it's always offering a good time. The shipping-container-make-shift-bar (which is really cool), has lots of craft beers on tap. So far we haven't tasted one that we don't enjoy! If you're not a beer drinker, they have you covered with an assortment of hard seltzers available as well. Over the weekend, I tired the Central Waters cranberry one, and it was delightful. In addition to cold beverages, this sprawling outdoor area has plenty of seating (including umbrellas when needed). Lots of room to meet up with friends, bring your pups, or like us, push and park your stroller. There's also some fun patio games like (giant) bags, connect four, and jenga! I always love when there's on-site activities. PLUS, they have live music some days, trivia on Thursday nights, and rotating food trucks that pull up to feed your belly. All of this sits along side the river where you can pull up on your boat, or simply watch the kayakers roll by. So enjoyable. You'll be seeing us a lot this summer :)

The location was very easy to find, and everything was incredibly convenient. The tubing hill is right next to the parking lot, the tubes are close to the hill, and there's no walking all over with bulky winter gear -- everything is right there for you, which is especially nice with kids. The employees were friendly and well organized, regulating the flow from the top of the hill. The magic carpet ride makes getting back to the top quick and easy each run. The atmosphere really felt festive with holiday music playing, and the kids loved seeing Santa tubing and even racing them down the hill. The ski chalet was super cute, with fire pits and outdoor seating where families could gather and warm up. We booked online for a 2-hour session at $33 per person and printed our tickets at the kiosk on arrival -- very simple process. It was a bit more expensive compared to other hills we've visited in past years, but it was a new place to explore and we definitely liked it. Overall, Crystal Ridge made tubing easy, fun, and festive. We'd definitely return and recommend it for a family-friendly winter outing.

We had a great experience at that tour, so we decided to try the Milwaukee food tour. This one was a walking lunch tour through the Brady Street neighborhood. Our tour guide, Britt, was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood. She provided some interesting facts along our walk. The restaurant stops provided delicious tastings from their menus. I appreciated that most of the stops provided individual servings allowing everyone to get their fare share of the food and for sanitary reasons. We did enjoy the tour and the walking distance felt doable. Britt made sure everyone was safe and got their food and beverages. My one suggestion would be to check the nearby festivities around the date you are planning to attend. Our tour date was the day after the Brady Street Festival and the street and sidewalks were filled with litter, empty liquor containers and some areas had broken glass on the walkways. Also, some areas that we walked through to get to the 1st meeting destination smelled like urine.

Our sail was very smooth but other months can get very rough which means they sometimes have to cancel because of the wind. Food prices aren't cheap. You're looking at 10 bucks for a sausage English muffin and they don't take cash. Overall the experience is pricey at 500 for two people plus a car. Otherwise five stars for everything else. Make sure to get there at least 45 minutes ahead of time if you have a car. They cram in the cars pretty tight and do a cursory bomb sweep but aren't checking if you brought some "gifts" from Michigan to share with others.

I love how easy the skywalk system makes getting around Milwaukee. I used to live and work downtown and the skywalks were great for getting around in the winter or inclement weather. On a whim, my friend and I booked a 10 am tour. We thought it would be a fun way to see the city…read more The tour is a little under 2 hours, which flew by. This review is for the boat with the tiki covering. We walked from our hotel and entered around the side of the Harp building. When we got there we were greeted by a lovely 4 legged friend, as a dog lover this was lovely. Sadly, the dog did not go on our tour but a different boat. The boat itself has plenty of space for any beverages or snacks. They had ice already ready for our drinks. The seats have a bike seat cushion, but no actual pedals. There was also space at the front of the shop for us to just sit and enjoy the scenery. There are speakers on board so you can hook up to Bluetooth if you want. The captain and his first mate were excellent! They were able to tell us some interesting facts about our surroundings. They took pictures with the background of the bridge and the Milwaukee graffiti. They had a point where you could get a picture wearing the captain's hat behind the steering. It was such a lovely touch to have someone who knew when a good photo opportunity was coming up and was ready to alert us and take our picture. Half way through the trip, we took a break at a restaurant to use the bathroom. We were able to quickly order and receive fries to bring on board. The fries were soooo crispy and delicious. We had booked a public tour and ended up getting along really well the big group that was with us. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It helped take the whole experience to another level along with all the other little touches. We would definitely do this again. It was a nice way to see the city and to get out of the heat. I've never done a water tour like this and thoroughly enjoyed this! It was relaxing. I could see how some people would party hard on this so if you're looking for that, it's feasible.

Had the opportunity to take a night tour in a 4-person helicopter (including the pilot - so, 3…read moreseats for guests). If you've lived in Milwaukee your whole life (or for a while), this gives you a whole new perspective of the city. We had unexpected fog roll in as we took off, to me it added a mysterious element to the flight, however if it had been more severe, we would have had to turn back. I did a helicopter tour a few years ago with a different service and if you're trying to decide between going by day or at night, I think the daytime experience is better as you can see more. But either way, it's hard to top an experience involving a helicopter!
