I have been banking with CCCU for over 30 years. They are a great institution. Today I had the best customer service by Demitric. He noticed my two minor daughters had regular savings accounts and they could earn more interest with money market savings accounts. He set up the accounts and was helpful the entire time. I appreciated his banking savvy, advice and patience. What great customer service! Maybe the best I've had in 30 years. CCCU has got to be the absolute worst financial institution in town. Today I attempted to log in, surprise my credentials we invalid. I had just changed the password two weeks ago and here we are. As I'm going through the process to change the password these people decide they was to call me. I stop what I'm doing to answer the phone and there is no one answering! Now I have to start over. While going through the process they called three more times, and left a useless voicemail. Reminding me that there's suspicious activity on my account. SMDH, if someone can get into my account good for them because it's very hard. The Windmill branch has a very high turnover because on the rare occasion I have to go in there twice a year at best there's never the same face in there. If the management team there is as bad as the service is they provide that doesn't surprise me. read more

EVERYTIME I go into this branch, the team is the same, even if different people are in the room. It's easy to handle my business. They are efficient and effective and very customer friendly. I've been a member for about four years and I am happy. It's never too crowded if they get more than four people in line or something then another attendant will come from in the back, Loans are completed over the phone so if you are interested in that type of service, encourage you to look it up now and proceed with those steps over the phone, but every thing else happens in the branch read more

I had a very disappointing experience with a representative named Gina while trying to get help with my auto insurance and loan process. She was consistently unhelpful and dismissive, making me feel like I was a burden for asking basic questions. When I mentioned I was waiting for my membership approval, she sarcastically asked, "So what are you waiting on?" -- which came off as rude and unprofessional. Throughout the process, Gina made no real effort to assist me or explain anything clearly. If this company advertises itself as a "first auto loan" provider, its representatives should reflect that mission. I ultimately went with another loan company that treated me with respect and actually helped me. Gina's attitude and lack of support were the reason I took my business elsewhere. So far not a good experience at this Credit Union. To fund, they offered different methods to start account. Credit card was offered, I thought that was different but went with that. When I got the slip back it said 'cash advance." I was surprised and the teller said yes, no fees with them but possibly with my credit card. Why would I want to pay fees? Had her reverse the cash advance and funded with cash. Second was when opening a CD. I handed the teller cash and she said she would hand count it and use the machine. That's fine I said. She signals the other teller and they walk over to the back room with a closed door. She took my money and was going there, out of my sight. I was like, where are you going? And she said to run the money...so I said, can I come? And they said nothing and came back to hand count it in front of me. Never heard of this style of counting where you can't view your money. Overall not a good start with them. Don't see myself banking here other than just for my CD which I learned is not federally insured. read more

CCCU had a system "upgrade" weekend of the 18th of November and my additional equity or principal payment was not deducted but added to my balance increasing my debt. I was assured REPEATEDLY that what was reported to the bureaus would be correct. It was NOT. Their response was for me to dispute directly with the bureaus when, as one of my financial institutions, they should submit an off cycle bureau update for me since they are reflecting, I owe them more than a $1000 more than I do. read more

Standing in line watching 2 tellers talk to clients about everything under the sun other than what they should be doing ... their job. If they subtracted the BS that they're verbalizing they would be already done with the people that they had when I walked in 10 minutes ago. We are all monitorily compensated based on our skill sets. This is not a review for this specific location but an overall review of the credit union. I have been a member for over 10 years requested an overdraft fee to be reversed, which I had not ever requested in the past. Spoke to a supervisor who was not willing to make an exception. The last few years I've had issues with the credit union, not raising ATM withdrawal limits, not waving a fee for a long time and in good standing member also charging a six dollar monthly fee which is not normal for a credit unions, waiting on hold to talk to member services just being told you'll get a call back later. I'm not sure what's going on with all the changes but it's becoming not worth keeping an account with Clark County credit union. There are other issues I could address but this is enough info to consider before joining. read more

I have had money with this credit union for years. The last few years have not been good with fees and trying to withdraw CASH in large amounts out of MY accounts. Today I closed my account because I don't use it enough. Called about my cash I wanted and they couldn't order cash til Tuesday, today is Friday. Cashiers check would cost me money! The amount of scam calls, texts, and emails I receive on a daily basis is out of control. These scammers don't stop but thanks to Nicole in the fraud department I am able to take the time to stay calm and decipher the difference between a scammer and a legit situation. When I worked with Nicole I was very irritated but she remained professional and courteous the entire time. She showed her compassion towards my frustrations and empathized with my situation. She took the time to educate me on current fraud trends and what to watch out for in the future so I don't fall victim to something like this again. Thank you so much, Nicole! Every time you need something from CCCU, you can always rely on having a friendly rep assist you with all your needs. I needed to open a secondary saving today and Jessica from the Warm Springs location was able to get it done with so much detail. She broke down my options in a way that I would understand and be able to explain to my wife. I appreciate her patience and willing to stay past opening hours. This is how every call has gone for me. I can't believe I have yet to review this place! I've been a member here for roughly a year or so and I could not be more please with the level of customer service I receive here on a consistent basis! You can find this branch easily by just taking the 215 and Windmill exit and start heading east on Windmill, It will be right there on your right hand side and is easily visible from the ramp. The place is clean and, maybe I've just been fortunate, I never seem to have to wait in a line for long. All of the tellers I've encountered have been so friendly and helpful! They are open Monday thru Friday at 9 am and close at 5 pm every day except for Friday, when they close at 6 pm. I really enjoy being a member here and plan on being here for a long, long time! 5 stars. read more

We sold our home yesterday. The buyer's lender CCCU dragged their heels on the wire transfer over some ridiculous home warranty requirements that were clearly noted in the loan documents that it was not going to be transferred to the new owners. They were late on the wire transfer causing the title company to miss the cutoff time and in turn caused us to pay another $500+ in mortgage interest. Therefore this one star rated is well deserved. CCCU needs to learn the concept, "time is of the essence." Update 10/2/19: Despite what Bree states, I maintain my position. CCCU sent the wire transfer to title past 2:00 pm. This left zero time for title to wire to our lender that same day. CCCU had not only had 6 hours to send the wire payment to title, they had weeks to review to contractual requirements and ask questions regarding the home warranty for the Buyer. read more

I've been a customer for years and I have all my accounts here. The customer service here is great! They are quicker than most banks that you will go to, the service I've received for my auto loans (Joe is Fantastic!) and other accounts has been awesome and when I walk I'm always greeted with smiles! I always see the same people, so that's totally a plus for me. If you run into any issues they work with you to figure it out and it's handled so there's no stressing! Gotta like that in a bank! I've been a credit union owner for three years now. I'm not exactly sure what all the benefits are, so this review is really based on the location & services provided versus the benefits of being a member of a credit union. So for those reasons of the betterment of my finances that I am unaware of... 1 star :] Facilities: Obviously like any bank, they provide tellers & ATM's. Nothing special, all the necessary goods here. Employees: They're all pretty nice & know what they're doing. I guess what's cool is that once you're a regular they stop asking for your ID & pin and stuff making the trip faster.. Okay, sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name ;] 3 Stars. Parking: Really cramped.. I don't really blame them. I guess they never really saw the need for a huge lot. However, this means one less star today :[ Like I said, not sure how it's supposedly fancier than a bank.. I get in, out, and move on. read more

I opened an account with the credit union. I was told it costs $50 to open an account, but You DO NOT have to have a $50 balance at all times. The reason I opened an account is I wanted an ATM card to give to my girlfriend who lives in Toronto. I sometimes send her money, but the Western Union fees are expensive.With the card I could deposit money on the account, and she could take it out with the card. I gave it to her and told her to take $20 out for her birthday. The card didn't work, causing me some embarrassment. I found our later, the account requires $50 to be held at all times. Now either the teller that signed me up Lied, or was Ignorant. It was Not a case of a misunderstanding because I asked her 3 times, after explaining my situation, before I signed up. I also applied for a credit card, and was not offer good options. So why open an account which requires a Larger deposit than many banks, and offers less credit? Not worth it for me. read more

We've had the unfortunate experience of banking at this fine Institution for over 3 years our car payment a couple other of our bills are paid through this Bank this place is absolutely unbelievable how crappy they are in providing service to their clients we had a RV that we are going to sell they sent us a check from California it seemed fishy my wife took it to the one off windmill they did the processing that came up as fraud they sent the check back and they charged us $ $12 never mind the fact that we were suspicious is the $7,000 check was bogus they know now and they still went ahead and charged us $12 they Friday both of our cards in the same week and we live in another state had no access to our money they just don't pay attention they don't understand and they they at every chance they can get will screw you for a dollar do not go to this bank we are stuck for the time being but as soon as we can screw them we're out of here read more

Friendly staff and conveniently located at Windmill and 215 as you get off the highway it's right there. This is a great place to start a business relationship with a local lender who seem to care a lot more about your business then some of the bigger bank and financial institutions. When you get frustrated with big banking try the Clark County Credit Union. I recommend them. read more

I have had more pluses than minuses with my interactions with cccu. Most recently with Cynthia. 5 stars for her. She really demonstrated excellent customer service skills during the whole story that follows: 1-star for this issue. Since April I have been trying to set up biweekly payments for my mortgage account. I first tried online with zero success. Even though the system lets you set it up it doesn't apply the payment until the 2nd payment is received. Then I was told that I had to go to the branch to have it set up. Went to the sunset branch in June as directed. Spent 20 minutes with the teller and was assured that my biweekly payment was successfully set up. Wrong! Long story short come to find out that the cccu system does NOT accept biweekly payments on mortgage accounts. Sounds to me like we need to upgrade this system to allow us members to pay off our mortgage sooner and save some interest if we choose????!!! I would appreciate feedback from the board of directors or whoever would be able to make this possible. read more

I submitted an application in May and it took 3 weeks to get a response and now it is June 22 and I have no idea what is going on or what the status is. Always a waste of time. If you have a lot of time to waste come here. Other banks can get you approved here in the valley the same day. These bank takes at least two weeks. Also if you want to come pay something off they try to bring every rule they can so you can't pay your loan. Worst bank to work worth. Save your time and go elsewhere. read more

Aw man, I hate writing bad reviews, but this would be a disservice to other customers if they weren't warned. I've been a member here for about 28 years. Give or take. This is by far the worst location I've ever had to deal with. Majority of my membership, I visited the bank on Tenaya, and new one on Decatur & 215. Both branches were great. Professional, knowledgeable tellers and managers, along with great customer service. Many positive experiences, even when my debit card got stolen. The past couple months I've been going to this location due to a move. This branch is absolutely sub-par to any of the others. Every month for the past four years at least, I come into a branch to do a external wireless transfer, and other services. Very simple, very painless process. Most tellers take 5 minutes to do it and I'm out the door. It used to be a great experience. So what sort of circus is being run at the Windmill location, that causes me to wait one hour the first time, and +40 minutes my second(and most likely last) visit? Lack of training. I come in to do a external wire transfer, as per usual. No one seems to know how to do it, much less comprehend the basics of just pulling up past transactions and the whole thing is already filled out for you. I feel bad for snapping at the tellers Les and Brittany, but I was frustrated by their lack of training. I'm sure they're good people and it's not their fault, but whoever "trained" them should be ashamed of themselves, and flat out embarrassed. And it's not just them, I can't remember my tellers name from my first visit, but it was the same problem, it took her 30 minutes to figure out the credit card machine was broken. It's a waste of time and frankly, I'm tired of it. I don't have time to drive +15 min to another location with better trained employees. Within the next month I'll be withdrawing all my assets from CCLV and going to another bank. I can't trust my money and account numbers with dunce employees.
