I am disappointed that I even have to write this review because I love U.S. bank as a company. The problems with this branch are so egregious that I am impelled to proceed. A teller, Ben Chun issued a cashier's check and a "corrected" check. He never told me about a "corrected" check or I'd have had an idea what was possibly happening later on. He gave me the first check, which their system auto-voided for obvious reasons. The "corrected" check was apparently sitting in the printer and later shredded. When I provided the cashier's check to a merchant, they deposited it, only to later contact me to tell me it was rejected for "no reason". Their bank later mailed them a rejection letter with "stop payment". This is where the chaos started: the merchant repeatedly called Wells Fargo who rightly insisted the check was invalid. I repeatedly called U.S. Bank who, not having the check, would look into my bank account which rightly assumed that I was referring to the "corrected" check, and rightly insisted the check was perfectly valid. This rightly created a degree of suspicion in both myself and the merchant, until after repeated communications and wasted time on both my and the merchant's end, I went into the branch with the rejection letter and the same bank teller immediately noticed the discrepancies in the check numbers. Mr. Chun at that point said the only way to fix the problem was to sign indemnification provisions, cancel the "corrected" check (which had been shredded long ago), and redeposit the check. The next day, the bank approved, and Mr. Chun incorrectly classified the deposit which added yet another day delay. He tried to offer to issue a new cashier's check immediately which, for obvious reasons, I refused. I would have given U.S. Bank 3 stars, but there was something troubling that Mr. Chun did; he refused to give me copies of the indemnification papers I signed, which I find highly suspicious and likely an attempt to partially cover his tracks. I would have given U.S. Bank 2 stars, but Mr. Chun had the unmitigated gall to refuse to refund not only the $10 fee for the bad cashier's check, but also charge me for the wire fee. If U.S. Bank reads this, I hope they update their training such that if customers call for help with a cashier's check that they ask the caller the check number as part of the troubleshooting process. If they had done this, they would have immediately noticed the discrepancy. read more

This place is an absolute disgrace. I do not believe they have the high rating as they do. I've yet to come here in over a year where people waiting in line pissed off since they do not staff this bank. Normally you have two people only working. The staff is great and I feel so bad that they're overworked. It's bad enough you closed several branches. I've already spoken with our owners in an effort to change banks as I waste so much time just trying to make deposits. Get your act together and stop being cheap. I had a big problem as a result of my US Bank ATM card getting stolen and some fraudulent charges. With no luck getting a resolution on the phone, I had to stop my branch in Henderson. The staff was great and Lucy Urquilla in particular was patient and helpful in resolving my issue. read more

Avoid this branch at all cost. Going on 30 minutes waiting in teller line to make simple deposit. ATM deposit works 10% of the time and they are extremely understaffed to handle a small flow of people. Extremely frustrating and embarrassing. Can't wait to close this account next week. read more

I came here to get some form notarize and I was told that I have wait until the clerk finished with his customer opening a bank account. At 3:55pm, I asked the female how long, she told me about 15 minutes and that he was almost finish any way. She told the male clerk that I was waiting to get some paper notarize. After he finished with the customer he got on the phone and kept looking at me but he didn't have the curtesy to acknowledged me, I look at my watch was now 4:40pm and I still didn't see any urgency on his part. You can see into his office because it is all glass, I saw and hear the female in the lobby tell him "he still waiting". He was being so rude and no customer service skills. Being the closest location to my house, I frequent this US Bank often, although most times it is just to use the ATM, and then I'm out. But as far as my lobby visits are concerned, they have all been swell. There is sometimes a wait, because they normally only have one teller working. The lobby is quite small, and the desk to write your withdrawal/deposit slip is allllll they way on the other side of the bank. But other than that, most people here are nice and helpful. If you come here enough, they will know you, due to its small size of staff. read more

This has got to be the worst bank I've ever been too none of the employees are ever informed about anything and give wrong information and try to go out of there way to avoid extra work I've tried to sit down and speak with representatives about opening an IRA and I always get the same response the guy that does that isn't here so I ask for an appointment and it's always the same , well we don't know when he'll be in and the same for anything else I ask for . Not only that but because their misinformation I was told that any unpaid mortgages in the months of april or may due to COVID would not be penalized I asked if I had to file any paper work and I was told no I even asked if they're sure because if not I'll just pay so instead I held on to my money to just in case and now I have a delinquent payment on my record, when I tried to explain what happened and what I was told and if they could take it off and fix it they said they couldn't, keep in mind I've never been late on any payment except this one time do to their misinformation, now I can't refinance my home until it's all fixed witch they have not been willing to correct themselves in anyway shape or form I will be canceling every account I have with them and as soon as possible refinance my house with another bank! read more

The worst accountability in a financial institution ever. They don't deserve 1 star. In August of 2016 I made a cashiers check for proof of funds to refinance my house. The cashiers check was made payable to myself. The check was lost. I returned to the same branch to get it remade or funds put back in my account, I was told the check had not been negotiated so I needed to wait 90 days I was told to wait to do a request to get the check remade. I came back in the beginning of 2017 since that was 90 days later and then told that the check had been negotiated months early and that I need to do a fraud claim. I started a fraud claim 3 times with 2 different managers at the Paseo location. Each time they apologized that the last manager dropped the ball and the claim was never completed. Fast forward to this week and I've started the claim again with a new manager. Where he was much more efficient then past managers and at least game me a denial letter saying no they would no remake me check. The check was made payable to myself and negotiated by another business whom banks with USBank. Since the check was improperly endorsed it proves that the deposit was made fraudulently. Usbank will in return have to take the $3200 loss and pay me back my funds. But they are refusing because that specific branch also made the deposit. So one of their tellers I'm sure will have to be reprimand for the mistake so they are refusing to return my funds. USBANK is stealing my money. Do not do business with this financial institution. read more
