Rob & Cammie dancing our first dance at Lehmann Mansion
Cammie G.

I just got married this past weekend Saturday March 29th, 2025. I booked Lehmann Mansion over a year ago. I had a micro wedding so only 42 people attended however the dining room holds 52. I loved the warmth and coziness that the dining room gave off. There were 5 round tables set up, with the dance floor being in the center of the room. There was a lovely small table set up with my husband and I, right in front of the fireplace. There are several rooms off of the dining room to either sit in or take pictures in. The bar has a walk through to a hallway that opens into another room. The larger room housed the appetizers and were set up so guests can either take an appetizer and just walk around or sit down. This was very nice so that people weren't congregated in the dining room prior to dinner being served. The food at my reception did not disappoint. I was able to test taste everything that I chose. I really enjoyed my selections and felt as if I had dined at a 5 star restaurant, at my reception. The food was served family style and I loved this because it was intimate. I preferred this rather than having it served buffet style. Every single person said it was the best food, they have ever had, at any wedding. I chose Beef Wellington bites, veggie spring rolls, and caprese skewers. I had two entrees that consisted of Guinness Braised short ribs complimented by garlic mashed potatoes and Chicken Limone with baby carrots. There were salads at the table with 2 types of dressing and a small loaf of bread. Lehmann Mansion made my experience memorable. There was just the right amount of food. Even the temperature was perfect. I also need to mention that one of my friends had a special diet since she has celiac disease. Her meal was served hot and consisted of a chicken breast with carrots and mashed potatoes. Her meal was. placed in front of her she wasn't singled out for having a different meal. This meant the world to her since she is rarely able to enjoy food anywhere. This brought tears to my eyes since I have seen her struggle with eating. There was also a beautiful mirror with Rob & my name, along with our wedding date. This was at the entrance to Lehmann Mansion and welcomed us into our reception. That was such a simple thing, but meant so much to us. I saw my dream come to life when I walked into my reception. Jay and Sara thank you so much for everything you did and making our day so special. We appreciate everything you did. All of the hard work really paid off. We will never, ever forget all of the special touches. I absolutely loved how the sage green napkins looked with the white tablecloths. It was wonderful and so spring like.

I held my wedding reception June 20, 2015 at The Lehmann Mansion and my day could not have been more perfect. DONT be fooled by their out of date website. It's amazing and the website doesn't do the place justice. Doreen, the coordinator was fabulous. Before we booked our venue Doreen took us on a tour of the mansion and grounds and we fell in LOVE and booked that same day. And we met with her several times to go over decor, vendors, and menu choices. A few months before our wedding there was a food tasting at the mansion to help us determine what items we wanted to offer which was impressive. Bauer's Catering has incredible food that blew me away... It was NOT banquet food, and there were so many options. Also, the grounds are gorgeous for photos, as is the inside of the mansion. I feel our photos are incredibly unique thanks to this beautiful venue. Also, the fact that the mansion has a heated/air conditioned tent is amazing. This is the perfect venue if you're looking for a way to have an indoor/outdoor reception! Our cocktail hour was outside and reception inside! Basically, this place was PERFECT. I highly recommend it for brides!!

The cocktail lounge is like nothing you'll find anywhere else. Rich dark wood and equestrian decor create a cozy atmosphere for your guests. You'll absolutely love how huge the grand ballroom is. I have organized eighteen large-scale events at other venues and have never had to deal with the lack of hospitality by an owner like I did at this place. While our families put together a beautiful and memorable event, it was not without a ridiculous amount of stress from the unaccommodating owners. The zero-tolerance policy of outside alcohol was handwritten like a note on the contract after it was already signed. The conversation about outside alcohol was casual and a story about a previous wedding where a keg was brought into the Groom's suite. Had we been told that their liquor license was in jeopardy instead of being disrespectfully yelled at, we could have resolved the issue professionally. The fact that the owners rummaged through personal items, confiscated gifts without our knowledge, constantly monitored every move via the surveillance cameras (there is no sign anywhere that you are being watched/recorded), spoke to us in a very rude manner, basically called us liars several times, and much more, made me regret the decision to have the wedding at the barn. What owner would say to the bride, "I bet you can't wait till this is over"? Or roll his eyes and say, "oh, god" at the decor we were bringing in? I am disgusted that the surveillance camera in the Groom's suite watched their every move. I wonder if the barn follows the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. I question the adequate exit access and compliant fire alarm system. I also question their compliance with the ADA Standards for Accessible Design (no designated accessible parking spaces). These are all serious matters that deserve attention. If you prioritize hospitality and integrity in your event planning, look for an alternative venue.

A woman assured me I would be able to pick out a woman's equivalent out of the pro shop. EJ, the manager, told me they don't carry woman's clothing because it doesn't sell at their shop. He then told me he would get a catalog and I could choose from that. Since we had been members for 5 years and has never had an issue, I trusted him and gave him back the men's extra large jacket. We then stopped at the pro shop from spring time until Labor Day and left message after message for EJ. When he was there, I spoke with him in person reminding him who I was and asked what was the status of the catalog that he was obtaining for me to choose my prize? He was irritable, denied that he ever told me he would get a catalog. Then when I said, why don't you give me 85$ equivalent merchandise, he stated, " There was no monetary value to that prize. So in other words, we paid 40$ in raffle tickets and that meant he could technically give me a pack of Tees and I should be happy. He then said to come back in two days and he would have the catalog. My husband went in person 3 days later and he had nothing! He told my husband he would get the catalog and he would call him. 3 guesses what didn't happen? So I called because my husband was fed up and just didn't want to go back and told me to forget out the prize. Well EJ was so irate at this time that I had the nerve to call and ask what was going I told him I am not going to listen to you raise your voice. And yes....i called him an A..H... I called my lawyer who said it was not enough $$ to warrant a lawsuit but I should call the BBB which is what I did. We also will not be returning to that golf course. The membership was not worth the poor quality pot holed path and the shoddy greens. We now go elsewhere. I hope it was worth it to you EJ.

He also said, " there is no monetary value of that prize" oh really? so I would have spent 40$ on raffle tickets to win a bag of tees? is this a case of the old Bait and Switch?
