My 3.5 yo daughter attends the Monday princess ballet and tap class in Torrance. She is very picky about joining classes of any kind. We took her to go watch a class and she absolutely loved what she saw. Enrolled her the following week and we have been going ever since. The class is perfectly appropriate. It starts with 25 minutes of ballet where they hand out props like tiaras and butterfly wings and wands so all the girls can pretend play while they are learning. The class then switches to 25 minutes of tap and everyone gets to 'cluck cluck' away, as my daughter puts it. Amber is our instructor and she is one of a kind. We have attended other music and dance classes where the instructor is more of a nanny/cheerleader. That's perfectly fine at this age level but Amber is so much more. It is obvious that she is an experienced dancer and knows how to teach. She is also a very kind and graceful person, for lack of better words. It's hard to describe but how she interacts with each child is just perfect and amazing. Don't take my word for it. Come watch a class, I think they may even offer a free trial class too. I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

We signed up at this place even before it actually opened since it was so close to our nearby hangout at Lee Sandwiches and Starbucks. We could not resist in trying it the place out since the first class was free. Finally when it opened, we scheduled our first class with my 6 year old daughter and try out for the first time Ballet and Tap! And oh what a treat! My daughter loved it ! They had crowns, magic wands and all kinds of "gear" to make any 6 year old giggle with laughter and fun. The magic moment happened when they turn the light dim and start the party ball lights! Ms. Jenny is our super favorite teach as she is so much fun. Grandmother of ballet students here. Creation station dance studio would be my first recommendation for a dance studio to anyone who asked. First the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They answer any and all questions you may have. They take the time to make the kids feel special and if a student isn't feeling so happy they take time to speak with them and comfort them. Secondly, it is handicapped accessible, which is a plus since I am predominantly in a scooter. I have no problem bringing my grandchildren here alone. Last but, not least my grandchildren love it here so much so that my granddaughters take 2 different classes and even my grandson has joined in and is taking a class. We LOVE Creation Station. Our daughter started her first dance lessons there in the 2.5-3.5 year tap classes on Mondays, this summer and she loved it. The kids are all so adorable in their dance clothes and the teacher, Ms. Chantel, has the patience of a saint. The woman who works at the counter couldn't be nicer and we enjoyed every class. Today was the first time we tried dance with our older daughter. We showed up for the free trial for their hip hop class 5-8. Miss Amanda greeted us and was very welcoming, she let us know about how the classes worked and the program. Miss Brianna came out to get the kids in for class, it was refreshing for my wife and I that Miss Brianna did not have to cover up her tattoos. As class begun our lil one was very excited, they started and off they went. First tune as they started to stretch was something that we listen to and our lil one dances too all the time. So thrilled we enrolled our daughter at Creative Station. The people who work there make the experience all the better. My daughter is 2 years old and the patience and compassion they show to her is well above my expectations and I know that is why my baby likes to keep going back every weekend. In fact she looks forward to going to dance. The prices are amazing and if you can't make it a certain day you won't lose it you can actually make it up unlike some other places out there that mark it as a loss. The class is 45 minutes long for her class and that includes Ballet and Tap Dancing. Our 22 month old loves the tots and tutus classes with Chantel and Brittany. Both ladies are patient, bubbly and creative with weekly themes that we can use at home to help reach milestones. My daughter tried for a free class one month before she turned two. I asked her if she wanted to come back, and she said "yes, yes yes!" We immediately enrolled her and she's tried 5th class now, and we are enrolling again for the next semester. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Not only my daughter enjoys the class, but also we practice the moves at home to prepare for the next class, and it became a nice mother and daughter activity. It seems like it's helping her increasing the confidence by understanding what the instructor is saying by practicing during the week.
