My hair was in desperate need of a cut and color. It was long, drier than the Sahara, three different types of brown and overall a hot mess. I was desperate for someone, anyone, to save me from the nightmare that my hair had become. My prayers were answered from the hair gods in the form of the lovely and talented Michelle. She is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Her passion for hair shows in the quality of her work. Not only is she sweet and friendly but professional with outstanding attention to detail. She takes the time to listen to your hair dreams and makes them as much of a reality as possible. She's brutally honest, so if your hair isn't capable of achieving a certain color she is quick to tell you, and even quicker to offer beautiful suggestions that will NOT DISAPPOINT. She even pointed out a bald spot near my ear that I did not even know existed and advised me to look out for it in case it needed medical attention. When I came to the consultation and spoke with the stylist, everything was spoke about appropriately but then when I was leaving the receptionist advised that I had to pay $35 fee just for a consultation and did not disclose this until after the consultation. I even had text messages in writing that there was no fee mentioned for this consultation that I was asked to come in for. The owner was not responsive to speak with me directly and brushed me off. I cancelled my hair cut appointment and made another one with another salon. If you schedule a client for a consultation it should be disclosed that there is a fee up front. And for the amount you charge for a hair cut there should be better customer service provided to clients paying that amount you are asking for. I been in customer service for well over 30 years that no company should be disrespectful with their clientele. You're located in a small strip mall that is unrecognizable to the general public so do better at customer service to get more business transactions!

Thank you Nikki and Joe for working on me for 5-6 hours to get this done. Honestly, I almost feel bad because Nikki would explain to me the process in detail and I would be clueless and just nodding my head since this was my first time and I got no clue about being blonde along with the technical terms included in the process of doing it. She knew this and changed her way of explaining so that I could understand it better. Haha. Things I learned was 1 close my eyes when they're rinsing off the bleach, 2 also close my eyes when I'm on the dryer with the bleach and 3 take all the stretch breaks that's offered. There's always a first time for everyone. The results were amazing!! I was nervous, scared and excited because it was a big change but also I didn't know if the color was gonna match me. She assured me that it would look great and it takes a lot to say something like that because that just meant that she knew what she was doing and it was true. Experience was great! She also fixed my chunky haircut and made it more streamlined which ultimately shaped it up to look amazing. So I found Locket Extensions. During our consultation since super nice and sweet. The day of the install came and I loved the way my hair looked at the salon. Once I got home I noticed the top of my head was much fuller than the bottom and asked her if she could move some around. She said fine and scheduled an appt. She cancelled on my 3 times claiming she was having mental health issues. I told her I completely understood. I wanted to fix my hair before my trip to Hawaii. She finally fixed it. When it came time for my first MOVE UP I sat in her chair and as she started going THRU MY HAIR. After a couple of rows she began to complain that I wasn't take care of my extensions. She was like these are so bad that this isn't a MOVE UP this is a complete install. I was like what are you talking about. She then went to blame me for ruining my hair on my vacation. She said" I saw your photos you were all in the water wetting your hair". I was first of all I always avoid wetting my hair in pools or beaches as much as I can. And second of all if I wanted to wet my hair I could. Wetting your hair shouldn't affect the placement. I've been wearing extensions for many years longer than she had been installing extensions. So I know how to take care of them and how to take care of my investment because extensions are not cheap. Besides I go on a lot of vacations and never had a problem with my hair. The way Michelle went of on my that day was on called for. I was completely confused. She talked to my a child I front of the other stylist and their clients. As she did my move up she was doing hard and hurting my head because she was pulling on it. Like I said I have been extensions for years at TEN TEN salon on Wiltshire. You either pay me or I'm reporting you to the Sheriffs. I found someone in Los Alamitos. Little did I know she was the founder of Locket Extension. She was so professional . She was appalled at my install. She called her hair stylist over to come and see my extensions. The pics I'm sharing are the ones she took. She told me this install was completely wrong. Click and zoom in on the pictures. About 2 months later I see Michelle at Target San Pedro. And of course causing some drama with poor lil young cashier. She made a whole scene in front of Target called his manger in front of everyone. She was so loud and arrogant. I guess that's just the way she is. Someone in line even told her to stop already and that she was I the wrong and not the cashier. If you love drama then I recommend Michelle Zabata
