WORST experience! This is the first time I have ever had a BOTCHED hair cut. I asked for 3 inches to be cut off - ended up with 6 inches chopped off along with uneven and ugly hair. Don't even get me started on the color. Nothing about this appointment was what I wanted! I reached out to the salon to see if we could resolve this issue privately and am not being accommodated. I was told they would fix my hair any day and time at my preference and that was a lie. Having to go back to the salon is a major inconvenience, especially when my hair should have been done correctly in the first place! I am also scared to let anybody else in this salon touch my hair out of fear of it getting messed up even more and due to the hostility I have experienced from one of the owners. Save your time and money! The incompetence of the stylist that did my hair is horrible! Edit to add - the girl that did my hair is Chalsey Chavez. I believe the co-owner that is not willing to make this right is Daisy since she blocked me on Instagram.
This is my first time coming to Glam Hair Studio and I had my hair done by Daisy! I'm very skeptical about going to a new hair stylist and I was previously going to someone else for 5 years but For several reasons I was looking for a new hair stylist to go to and I found out about Daisy through a friend and after a long time I wanted to take a chance and begin working with Daisy because she seems to do amazing work from what I was able to see on her Instagram and seemed very knowledgeable on how to treat/handle hair etc. She did an amazing job on my hair! This is my first session with a color correction and also I came in with different colors in my hair I had blonde hair with faded red/violet/magenta colored hair on top of the blonde and then virgin roots so it was a matter of how much my hair could handle and Daisy was very clear on the fact that my hair may not lift to blonde much at all because of the red mixed in it so I literally did not even expect Daisy to be able to lift my hair to what you see in the photos. It's still a long way from my goal of course but I understood that in order to maintain the health of my hair, this was gunna be a process. What I really loved about working with Daisy is that she was very straight forward and honest from the start. She thoroughly had explained to me how color corrections work, the risks and how important it is for her to know what was previously done to the hair so that she can proceed with the right steps and not severely damage the hair. I appreciated that so much because she stayed communicating throughout the whole process so that I understood what she was doing and where my hair was at in how it was handling the bleach. She told me how long we would leave the bleach for and if my hair was holding up well then we would leave it on a little longer. She explained to me that the goal for my hair would not be achieved in this one session and that because I had multiple colors in my hair, their would be bands and some areas would be lighter than others. She also gave me so many tips of how to care for my hair going forward and even prior to me coming into my appointment she gave me so much info on maintaining the health and moisture of my hair which meant a lot to me because previously I was not given this information and my hair was pretty damaged over time because I did not know what I needed to do to maintain my hair. I can tell she cared about making sure my hair was prepared for the appointment. Daisy is definitely someone who cares about her clients and is passionate about her work and will make sure you are well informed and understand what's being done. She won't beat around the bush and she'll be very honest with you and if you're patient, she will get you to your goal with time! My hair looks amazing considering it was dry at the ends with different colors and products mixed into it. Even Daisy's assistant was amazing, kind and helpful and the whole experience was great! I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend going to Daisy as she won't disappoint and she will take care of you! As long as this review is, I think it was necessary because I'm grateful to have found a great new hair stylist. Thank you Daisy!
I have been getting my hair done with Daisy for quite sometime now. She always leave my hair looking amazing. She will always give you a consultation and tell you the process she will do with your hair so you will be aware. Once you give her the OK, its a go. It's very hard to found a place that doesn't leave your hair so damaged. Took me a while to found amazing hair stylist like she is. I would highly recommend her. Remember once you walk out the salon, know it's up to you if you want to keep your hair healthy. so just buy best products for your hair. My picture will be the one with the Iron Maiden T. I came in as a walk-in and luckily Christian was able to accommodate me. I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly and eager to please attitude. I only needed a hair trim and Christian exceeded my expectations. He offered me a drink before we got started and I was already happy camper! My hair looked, felt, and smelled better than before I came in ;) Just let your hair stylist know what you want AND listen to their suggestions, because they know what's good for you. A plus: Christian gives the *best* scalp massages. Ask for him, he will not disappoint. :) My advice: make sure you call ahead of time and schedule an appointment because they may not be able to accommodate you the same day. The place itself is decorated nicely. It's totally GLAM and lives up to its name. Thank you Christian and staff for wonderful service!
I've been in San Pedro for almost 3 years and stumbled upon this gem! I'm so cautious about who touches my hair because I've had one too many bad experiences. I didn't realize how bad my hair color was until I sat in the chair and took down my ponytail. The color was all shades of orangy reds. Not cute! Maria did an amazing job. I absolutely love my hair. I loved how her and her team talked me through the entire process. Obviously while you're sitting through the process you are watching everyone's work and I can tell you I fell in love with every customer's final result. The vibe of the salon is super cool, they have great music playing and the chemistry between all the employees is amazing. There's no jealousy, no competition between them. This is definitely my new go to.
This was my first time here and I loved it. I had black and red box dye on previously and they managed to bring my color to a beautiful caramel brown color. Staff are super friendly and my stylist took great care of my hair, given everything I've done to it in the past. My stylist was jazmine ( @jaziee _styles ), would definitely recommend :).
This was the first time I've been to Glam Studio and I love everything about it. At first, I was skeptical because I was a new customer and it's very hard finding the right stylist especially when it comes to bleaching. My hair was very brassy to begin with because of a previous hair stylist. I did my research in finding the right person to work w my hair and came across Daisy, owner of Glam Studio. I set an appt with her to do a consultation and she was very forward about the brass in my hair and what I wanted to achieve. After seeing her results of her work and the honesty about how my hair would turn out, I gave her a chance. This is by far what I expected and I am very pleased on how it turned out. I still need a few more sessions to get rid of the brassy color, but I am definitely booking w Daisy again. Daisy and her team are fun, outgoing, and very sweet. They make you feel so comfortable and the salon itself is very chic and clean. Just an fyi it is pricey, but honestly you get what you pay for. I definitely recommend you coming here and giving it a try!

Bad service for first time!! HAIRSTYLIST BREAUNNA ! So I came in to get a haircut service done I was told it's 65 for the cut and was charged 75 after I had to recheck my messages' and then to top it off she breaunna DOES NOT know how to brush hair at all !! She first washed my hair at wash bowl sat me down towel dried my hair ok cool ' and then just starts brushing my whole hair Straight from the top pulling And breaking my hair down! I mentioned to her she was being rough and tried to be gentle but ended back with the same tension and breaking my Hair all the way from my roots .. I'm ver sad also she used absolutely no hair products for after wash like I know All hair stylist that do and definitely at some type of heat protection in your hair well NOT HERE ' I was completely sadden because of how nice the salon was but the service was bad very bad for a first timer ... look like she was having a bad and that sucks why work and look like that!! I had a headache for a while after leaving there no joke was pretty sad knowing how much good stuff I heard from that salon but not that stylist !! Me personally coming from good hair stylist im Vegas all the salons I've been too are very sweet gentle try to have a conversation with you and she was just like upset had mad face' also every salons uses hair products on a customers hair for brushing out or blowouts or some heat protection but her nothing did she use. But at the end after curling my hair for waves only added hair spray for the waves... so whatever i just wanted to pay for my hair cut and leave so I did and will not be coming back again sad to say ... and I love a nice hair trip at the salon we all women do . Poor girl! I did message back the salon page wher I was told it's 65 for a women's hair cut for wash n style and haven't got no reply ... the poor girl definitely have bad service. I was very very shook at this whole hair cut situation. Breaunna girl your not it sit back down behind the desk answering the phone being an assistant. Not breaking hair more no fixing headaches with all that pressure on a customers head. Sucks I can't get my color done here also ... good luck to any other future clients . Absolutely impolite! Daisy posted on Instagram that she was looking for a hair model for a small fee. I inquired about it and she responded asking for a picture of my hair. I sent the picture and after that I followed up and no response. Followed up once more the DAY BEFORE the appointment and NO RESPONSE! So unprofessional and discourteous!!! I'm very disappointed! read more

Diana is incredibly rude and unreasonable. Cannot show up on time to save her life. She had me waiting in her chair for over 30 minutes and denied me a discount or even an apology. Very disappointing, would recommend that you look somewhere else!! read more

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done at glam hair studio with Daisy twice already. First off the salon has a great vibe and setting to the place I absolutely love it, Daisy and all the girls working in the salon are very welcoming and accommodating to their customers, which I love as well because I had never been to hair salon were they had this great of a customer service. I will admit I was a little hesitant at the beginning because of my previous experience at other salons but after explaining to Daisy want I wanted to achieve, she give me her advice and what steps I should take as wanted to start my "blonde journey." It was of course a very time consuming process but she took her time and would kept me updated as to what to steps she was doing next on my hair. She was so detailed in making sure my balayage came out perfect, she even stayed an extra hour after the salon closed to finish styling my hair. I have gotten a big amount of hair compliments and have recommended them to Daisy and will keep recommending. Thank you Daisy for the amazing hair job and customer service, definitely the only person I'm going to be trusting with my hair! Can't wait for third session!!! read more
