While we have tried other flavors like vanilla, chocolate, birthday cake, lemon, and more, the red velvet is definitely our go to. That said, all of the flavors we have tried have been delicious. We were recently at a party that had a platter of the mini bundt cakes, and it was perfect. They were petite and allowed everyone to try multiple flavors, which was a great touch. The cakes are always beautiful and fresh. Even during our last visit, they were actively restocking the shelves. Not sure what to expect but we were surely anticipating a sweet encounter. We walk inside and see the glass display case of goodies (vanilla and chocolate cakes, truffles and cheese bread). Behind the glass display was an entire open view professional bakery with dough mixers and ovens. The smell of this shop was pure bliss and possibly ten pounds on the hips. The manager, Chris, greeted us immediately and began conversing with us about his shop. The genius behind the scenes was the owner, Giselle, who popped out her head from near the ovens and said hello. We tried the cheese bread and three truffles - strawberry, coconut and chocolate. The bread was warm, soft and gooey inside - simply delish. The magical treat was definitely the strawberry truffle - as I took a bite I couldnt stop smiling and savored the crazy sweetness on the back of my tongue. They went above and beyond by adding nuts in the filling of the cake to enhance the pecan flavor of the cake (not something we even asked for). However, before I drove over, I use their QR code to order online when I realized that cinnamon buns have to be pre-ordered. But I called, Gentry was very kind to let me know that even though she had a large order of cinnamon buns, she could spare two for me! I dashed over to the shop, the cinnamon buns had come out of the oven and with the icing melting on top. I bought my order of two and went home to enjoy them.
