Noticed the owner monitoring every aspect of the bake shop and introduced himself while I was devouring one of his pride creations. Talk with the wife about ordering an 8" round cake that serves 12 people for a competitive price of $55.00. Only a 24 hour notice for non customized cakes. When I first walked in I couldn't help noticing the many awards this place had for cakes. It was impressive. They make custom cakes and they must be good. I saw cupcakes and cookies beautifully displayed. I then noticed the mixers they had. I ended up getting a lemon drop. I need to come back for those cookies and cupcakes next time. They kindly provided light snacks and some delicious baked treats from their bakery. (Chocolate chip cookies are delicious!) Guests are welcome to also bring food and/or beer/wine. Tbe 5" cakes are already baked and sliced, so you don't have to do any of the hard work. Even the buttercream is made and ready to use. Side note: when you register, you get to choose the cake flavor. They provide all the tools you need to decorate your cakes, and teach you tips along the way. The owner and her assistant were very helpful and ensured everyone was happy with their cakes. We've already sliced up are cakes, and they were delicious. Of course we can brag about the decorations since we did it ourselves! Haha This is such a fun activity to do with friends or family. Would be a nice girls' night or date activity. However, before I drove over, I use their QR code to order online when I realized that cinnamon buns have to be pre-ordered. But I called, Gentry was very kind to let me know that even though she had a large order of cinnamon buns, she could spare two for me! I dashed over to the shop, the cinnamon buns had come out of the oven and with the icing melting on top. I bought my order of two and went home to enjoy them. We were very happy with our selection and now we know we can pre-order. PS Cinnamon Buns are only available on Saturday and we will be back!

The clerk spoke with a French accent, was exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. I ended up selecting two blueberry tarts, the two of which sold for less than $10 which I thought of as more than reasonable for what I got. The clerk then carefully packed them into a little box so I could take them home. When my BF and I tried them, we loved them. They were really totally delicious. Taster box was $50 for 5 flavors, that was no problem until they said the flavors are randomized and we can't choose which flavors we want to test. It also would've been cheaper and better to get cupcakes in the different flavors because its $5 per cupcake so we could've tried 10 instead of 5, but they said we'd have to find out what the "flavor of the day" is and they won't make them unless it's already been made. For an upgrade to the contract we had, they said it was going to be a "few hundred dollars" extra as well. Seems like they just want money instead of letting us have a good experience. Which really wouldn't be a problem paying for if we had a good experience but overall it wasn't so we won't be giving our money to this company.

Although they had never done "Final Rose" themed cake, they said they would be more than happy to bring our vision to life. This cake and overall experience did not disappoint. Not only was it esthetically beautiful, it tasted absolutely delicious. They went above and beyond by adding nuts in the filling of the cake to enhance the pecan flavor of the cake (not something we even asked for).
