Carlos, my review most certaintly represents your business which is you and how you conduct…read morebusiness. I did NOT mention the issues that happened along the way because you begged me not to write a bad review. You offered band aids rather than to fix things correctly. and then practically bribed me with an inflated bill that you lowered. I didnt say anything about the issues being code /permit related. But you did damage my driveway, your manager was shown the the back porch and how I DIDNT want the front porch to be when corners were mitered and I asked them not to be because of expansion and contraction , your remark was it was a different crew who did it? you didnt inform them of our conversation. the cement didnt come out the color chosen, you didnt do a test color, your manager bought the wrong landscape wall, I immediately contacted you it was incorrect, and you still tried to charge me, Of course I was not happy. Not to mention when they were reapplying the siding they put it on with nails right throuugh the center and it was all rippling and your project manager said, "well if you cant get it to stay on, how else but to nail it." Really ? Oh thats right Carlos, you dont know the half of things that went wrong because you wouldnt talk to me. The roofing is now leaking, no the inspector didnt get up there and look under the shingles, if that is what you are suggesting. I was just letting you know 3.5 weeks ago what was happening now and you completely ignored me. You think its ok. So I agreed that I didnt want you to seal my driveway because that doesnt fix the 4 dents you put there when you put your dumpster there with no wood underneath to protect my driveway as stated there would be. your response was I wasnt there when they came. Again no communication with your workers or subs. Again that is not my fault. not to mention you dumping waste from another job in my dumpster or you piling up wood for another job all over my grass which was dead when you finally finished. Or how about the job only being six weeks and ended up being 6 months from Sept to Feb. All my emails were about what was going on in my job, which concerns me and should have concerned you. But you refused to talk to me unless the manager was there. Not my fault your men do not do what you want them to do and you try to pass their mistakes on to me. I guess when my railings on my stairs were discovered not to be connected last year, on both sides, I guess you didnt decide to not work together, or could it be that you only responded because the inspector on the job who signed off called you personally to fix it , although you didnt fix it according to what the inspector suggested that you follow the manufacturers instructions, you just put in 2 screws to hold in place. As the inspectors stated we do not go around lifting materials or climb on roofs, they inspect with eyes only. Or when your framing failed during the rough and you had to come back to make adjustments before going forward. Maybe if I called the inspector first about the roof , it would have gotten your attention, but I will inform him now, seeing that you have ignored me, to let him know you failed to flash the roof by code. You see this is what caused the leak, doesnt matter if it was within a year , you didnt do what you were suppose to do initially. Why didnt your company tell me they dont know how to do roofing, I would have gotten a professional. This was a new fail on your behalf and this is how you choose to handle it to ignore me. My original complaint here was not about 4 years ago because I didnt mention all that happened. IT was to bring attention to the Roof from 3.5 weeks ago. But because of your lame response, its all out of the bag now and you only have yourself to blame. This could have all been avoided if you acted like a professional. I didnt know the roof was going to fail. Maybe you got away with not fixing your prior screw ups because you offered band aids, but the roofing was a current issue. Ok maybe work isnt warranted anymore, but any good contractor would try to do the right thing and you didnt step up! So this Review is all on you. Hope this helps you learn how you should treat paying customers but I can see you havent grown since.

Only carpenters for interior work on Unit 2 showed up. The interior work on Unit 2 was a separate project. When talking with the owner of the company, all conversations involved shouting at me. The contractor did not use proper ladder safety. The feet of ladders where not down. Ladders were not tied off. Ladders were used on un-even surfaces. When instructed to fix these conditions they argued back and belittled me. Eventually the ladders were tied off in one location, but not two as required. When a ladder was placed on a lower roof level, protection for the roof was not provided. The house is older, and it is a requirement to assume all of the paint is lead based. When interviewing the contractor prior to hiring, they stated that all paint would be removed in a safe and legal manner. The paint was hand scraped and sanded, throwing dust everywhere. At the end of the day, the paint dust and chips were swept up, not following MA state law on lead safe work. When i requested that the contractors comply with safe scraping and sanding methods, they left the site. Plastic over windows was not fully taped and air tight. This does not prevent the lead dust from entering the interior. They only taped the windows immediately adjacent to the work, not the windows within 5 feet of the corner on the opposite side they were working.

Ruy Barbosa is high off the charts in professionalism. He was responsive to our questions, and…read moreintuitive about our interests. He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
