Creative Carpet & Flooring recently installed new flooring in 70% of my home. Being a home owner for 30 years, I have to tell you this was by far the best experience my wife and I have ever had in working with such a company. From the time we walked into the store until well after the installation, we were made to feel that meeting our expectations in terms of service and satisfaction was all that matter. We met Mark when we visited the store to get an estimate for re-doing the floors in our home. Mark spent the amount of time needed to review the different options we had and took time necessary to ensure that we understood what each of these options would mean in terms of appearance and durability. He educated us about the different vendors and their products. At no point during our conversation did we ever feel pressured to make a decision. It felt as though Mark wanted to make sure we were properly educated about our options, which enabled us to make a decision that was right for us. We walked into the store, just wanting to get an idea of what the various options would cost and we walked out completely educated on the various products and vendors. Because of Marks approach and how he treated us as potential customers, we decided to move forward with our purchase. We had explained to Mark, that we had an important family event coming up and that it would be nice to have the floors done for the event, but explained that if he was not confident that it could be done in time, that we were okay with waiting. Mark researched the product inventory with the vendor, spoke to his installation crew and informed us he was confident he could get it done in the timeframe we had laid out. He laid out the schedule of what would be taking place when and assured us it would be done over the course of 4 days due to the amount of work. The installers (Edgar and his brother (can't remember his name) showed up on the day and time that Mark had given us and went to work. Over the course of the next 3 days, they installed flooring in 5 rooms and carpeting in 2, beating their estimated 4 days. Throughout the installation, Edgar and his brother were professional, polite and went out of their way to make sure the installation was as clean as possible. Their attention to detail was incredible and the floors look incredible. I wish all purchasing experiences were this positive. The best place to buy and have carpet installed in the south/southwest suburbs of Chicago. I shopped numerous locations online and in the brick and mortar stores. After dismissing all of the usuals (HomeDepot, Lowes, Menards) because they're basically middle men selling below average carpet for an above average price, I discovered Creative Carpet online. The reviews were good so I gave them a try. I've got to say they met or exceeded my expectations in every way. I had carpet installed, but they carry wood, laminate, all types of tile and anything else you can imagine to install on your floor. The sales staff is very relaxed and non-pushy, taking the time to explain all of the nuances of each carpet type: the pile, backing, warranty, spill/stain resistance and the like. I had a tiny bit of sticker shock when I looked at the prices, but that quickly left when it was explained that the price was all inclusive - all in home professional estimating and measuring, removal and haul away of your old carpet and pad and delivery and install of the new plus moving of any furniture in the rooms where it's installed. I picked a date and time (morning or afternoon) for install and was called the day before to remind me and was emailed a reminder also. The crew got here about 9 AM and were gone a little past noon. The only thing different by then was that I had new carpeting that looks great, was installed correctly and all of the mess was cleaned up and gone. It's hard to beat products and service like that - I'll definitely call Creative for carpeting in the future. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Creative Carpet & Flooring in Highland, IN. From the day we first walked into CC & F to look for carpeting thru the date of installation, CC& F customer service was outstanding. Autumn Sibo patiently answered all of our questions, explained the differences between various types of carpeting, and ordered samples to be sent to our home. She arrived at our home at the arranged time to measure and prepare an estimate, which we received quickly via email. She also called to go thru the estimate details over the phone. Once an install date was set, she remained in contact with us via email and phone. Our installers, Dave and Noah, arrived on time and were efficient, professional and respectful of our home. They even swept the driveway when they were finished. We had a few special requests during installation (which we made known prior to install day) and they patiently worked with us to meet those requests. We absolutely love our new carpeting and highly recommend CC& F. That being said, I feel that part of the responsibility for a good exerience lies with the homeowner. Anything you can do to make the installers' job easier will go a long way toward helping the job go smoothly. If you have special requests, be sure to make them know before installation. Empty rooms as much as possible and box up knick knacks and any items you don't want damaged. If you can, remove doors in areas to be carpeted. And finally,if you have furniture gliders, use them to help move heavy furniture from room to room. read more

I chose Creative Carpet and Flooring based on reviews from the internet. I had two levels to carpet and was hesitant at first to use them because they were unknown to me but they were close. That all changed when I went to their store to shop around. I worked with the owner, Mark Bouquet, and he stayed with me throughout the process from carpet selection to installation. Mark was Awesome to work with! He is very personable, knowledgeable, and did all he could to get me the best price and point out ways I could save even more if paid in cash. The installers arrived on time, did a great installation, and cleaned up after themselves. There was a problem early on regarding the wrong carpet being ordered for the lower level. This gave me a chance to really test their customer service. Mistakes happen, it's a matter of how it's addressed that completes the whole experience. I can say Mark was absolutely stellar during this time. He immediately ordered new carpet, offered to pay for any cost incurred by me, and would do all the moving of items that had to get moved in on top of the pad. He even gave me his cell number if I had to reach him for any reason until this was resolved. I would not hesitate to use Creative again or refer friends and family to them. read more

I am working with Creative Carpet & Flooring to install carpet in our new construction home. Dianne is very knowledgeable about carpet materials and their features and has a great eye for design and colors. She has been a great resource in helping me find the right carpet for our lifestyle and budget and generously provided samples for viewing at home. In addition to her determination to help me find the right products, she is also a joy to work with. I will provide an update on the rest of the process after the installation is completed. Installation has been completed and the result is good, with one exception. The floor under the carpet may have some problems or perhaps there was a problem with the padding. There is a sharp object in one place and what feels like a hole or dip in another place. Either way, I would have preferred that the installer worked with the builder if necessary to remedy the situation before completing the installation. Overall, I am satisfied and would return to Creative Carpets in the future. read more

We used Creative Carpet & Flooring to install carpeting in 7 rooms, a hallway and steps with a landing (approximately 1800 sq. ft.). During my first visit to the store, Michelle assisted me with my selection. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me, as I had many questions. She explained the different types of carpeting and told me about sales promotions. The carpeting that I eventually selected is top quality and feels great. Everyone was very professional, from Michelle to the person who came out to do the mearurements to the 3 installers. The installers moved our furniture (we only had to remove breakable items), removed all of the old flooring and installed the new carpeting and cleaned up in 8 hours. Simply amazing!!! Our home was for sale and we wanted to freshen up a couple of bedrooms with walk-in closets. Chris and Steve helped us match existing home carpet and in an appropriate price range. We were concerned about installers, based on past negative experience with other companies. Their installers, while not employees, have a long-standing work relationship with the company. Edgar and John were outstanding! Total professionals, and very respectful both of the customers and the property. They were extremely helpful, did a great cleanup and smart! From start to finish, my experience with Creative Carpet&Flooring was excellent. My salesperson, Steve Williams, was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and answered my questions.The proposal and ordering was done in a timely manner. I received calls related to delivery and installation when they were promised. The delivery personnel were professional and arrived 10 minutes before their window (called first). I cannot say enough about the installation crew! My floors were professionally installed and they even fixed problems from previous installations that they could have ignored. We have worked with Creative Carpet & Flooring twice in the past two years. The first time our basement flooded and we needed new carpet. They were so helpful at the store and understood exactly what we were looking for. We found what we liked and they came our right away and measured. They said it would take two weeks so we scheduled a installation date and everything went great. Unfortunately, our basement flooded again two years later. I called them up and told them what happened. They told me they carried the same carpet and the best part was they gave me the sale price that I received two years ago! Finally after almost 18 years we decided to replace all the carpet in our house. Our neighbors recently replaced their carpet in their bedrooms and recommended Creative Carpet's. We visited their showroom and started talking with Brian who was very helpful and understood our needs. We quickly set up an apt to have them measure the house. We had quotes from Brian within 2 days and never looked any place else. We were able to put beautiful lament in 1/2 of the rooms and carpeted the rest. Steve was our salesman and was very informative as to the types of carpets and which would work best for different applications. He took his time and answered any and all questions we had. He explained the warranty and set up our delivery time and also coordinated some carpet cleaning which they also did. On the delivery date the installers called to let us know they were on the way. Upon arrival they moved all furniture out of the way, removed the old carpet and installed the new one. The installers took out all the old carpet and vacuumed the room where the new one was installed. The installers were very courteous and did the job quickly and neatly. Absolutely phenomenal to say the least. Immense precision went into our home. We had the entire 3300 sq ft house done. Tile/carpets removed, subfloors added and the most amazing glued down flooring added thruout, (an outstanding amount better and more durable than a regular LVP). We chose carpet for our stairs that can with stand our family of six plus a dog. To say we were happy with the job is by far an understatement. The crew left our house each day where I can find my appliances, get to what I needed during the school/work week and amazingly clean for all the work that was done. Great Experience with Creative Carpet and Flooring We had 1500+ square feet of wooden floor that was refinished including a staircase and mantle. We met with Brian of Creative Carpet and Flooring. He was very accommodating and answered all our questions. He took his time to look at our home and suggested an appropriate color that turned out to be gorgeous. The installation crew was awesome: hardworking, trustworthy, and polite. They were detailed oriented and worked long hours. We did require some extra attention in a few areas (natural wood can be fickle), but both Brian and the team took care of it in a timely manner. We had hickory hardwood floors installed by Creative Carpet and Flooring and we couldn't be happier with it! Mary was a complete pleasure to work with during the selection process. She let me bring home as many samples as I wanted and for as long as I needed....I felt like I brought half of their showroom home with me and they were happy to oblige. I never felt rushed or pressured into doing anything. Mark and Chris were also great when it came to scheduling the installment and the guys who installed the floor were top notch. I had carpet installed July 2016 in my family room. Due to a mill issue, NOT Creative Carpet, we had to un-install and re-install the carpet recently. Mark, the owner, and Chris, who I dealt with, were incredible. They were attentive and handled the situation in a very professional manner. I am very happy with my carpet, and the entire experience and would absolutely, 100% recommend Creative Carpet! And, by the way, their installers were fantastic. My family recently used creative carpet to install 1900 sq feet of carpet in our new home. My salesman was Steve who was quite a bit high on price to start. After some negotiations he gave us a very good price on our carpet and this was all completed with a simple phone call. I also had a few phone conversations with Mark, one of the owners of the company. He was extremely nice and accommodating.
