History
Established in 2021.
Creative CLEAN was built on resilience, compassion, and the belief that no one should have to face life’s messes alone. In the fall of 2021, after both of us were laid off, my husband and I decided to take control of our future and start the business we’d always dreamed of. What began as Creative Mechanics, a mobile mechanic service, took an unexpected turn when my husband was injured in a snowmobile accident. Life changed overnight, and we had to rebuild from the ground up. We began buying and reselling storage lockers just to get by. Working side by side, adapting, and doing what we could to keep moving forward. One day, a friend asked us to help clean out a loved one’s home. As we worked, we saw the relief that came from lifting that burden during a painful time. That feeling of helping someone breathe easier when life feels heavy became the heart of our mission. Creative CLEAN was born. Out of care, understanding, and the desire to help others through their hardest moments.
Meet the Business Owner: Melissa K.
Creative Clean was born after one of the hardest chapters of our lives. In 2021, both my husband and I lost our jobs. We saw that as a sign to finally start the mobile mechanics business we had dreamed of. Not long after, he was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident. Our world stopped, and everything felt uncertain. As we worked to rebuild, we found comfort in restoring order. We saw the power in a clean, peaceful space and how it could lift even the heaviest weight. That’s when I realized this was more than cleaning; it was healing. When we helped a family sort through their late parents’ home, I saw the same relief and light return to them that I had felt myself. That moment became my “why.” Today, as the owner of Creative Clean, I pour my heart into helping others breathe easier, find peace in their surroundings, and feel the same hope that helped us rebuild our own lives without judgment.
