I bought something online and they never sent me a tracking number. A $584 dollar coffee table. They then proceeded to leave it on the street in New York with no phone call. I wasn't home, I was at work. How can you sell expensive furniture and not provide tracking? I emailed their customer service email 5 times and never got a response. I pray to god I get a refund. Terrible terrible terrible. DO NOT order online from them. Update / response to the owners comment: I emailed the customer service email countless times no response. Was put on an endless elevator music loop when calling your customer service number. My inbox on my phone isn't full and I never got a call from you -- I answer all calls when I have incoming shipments. And you guys never refunded me, the bank had to force you to. If you had taken the merchandise back I should have been refunded immediately but I was not. So strange and messed up. Maybe hire an actual customer service team and learn how to use a tracking number. read more

Thanks Leon! I was looking for the Bernhardt wheeling bed everywhere but kept getting the run around with it being delivered in 6 months and had a full price price-tag. Leon was able to deliver the bed significantly quicker and even gave me a discount. Two pros came to deliver the bed and fully install it as it comes in more parts than you can imagine. The guys were meticulous and even put felt on the bottom of the legs so that it doesn't scratch my floor. Furthermore, they took off their shoes by the front door because it was raining outside and they didn't want to "dirty the floors." Great experience and highly recommended! Got the bed and the great side tables, next we'll be looking for a dining room table (will upload pics once we decide which table). read more

I am SORRY TO REPORT that this store has TERRIBLE customer support, sold us INFERIOR chairs which pulled apart at the seams, sold us a USELESS WARRANTY which wouldn't cover the costs of repair, or exchange, despite the problems being reported less than 8 months following purchase. The OWNER refused to provide more than 50% "reduction" for new chairs. The WARRANTY folks insisted that it was "our fault." This store is not even worth a 1. The world's worst. Purchased a couch that went on sale for about 1,200 less the following week. The store would not honor the sale. The couch came and we signed off on it because when we mentioned that the pillows were all wrinkled, we were told by the people who put it together that we should let them sit for a while. They will probably straighten out. They never straightened out. Called the store and someone came to look at it. They agreed with me about the pillows and that they should replace them or give me a new couch. Somehow in communication, the store received a message that I did not relay. I stopped payment on my credit card for the couch and would pay for it again once the couch was fixed. After all, it was a brand new couch. BTW, it looked nothing like the couch in the store. I would have never purchased it with those horrible wrinkled pillows. After some time, someone came to fix the stuffing. I again mentioned the same thing about the wrinkles and was told again to let them sit for a while. Finally I reached out to the owner of the company who basically told me I stole merchandise from his store since I have the couch and they have no payment. Some time later I got an e mail from another person who claimed to be a manager. He was very nice and I really thought he was working with me until after going back and forth with him (he claims he went to look at other stores that had the couch and that was just the nature of the couch) and he asked me to take pictures of the pillows and whole couch and send it to him and he would get back to me. He never did, but rather sent me a letter demanding the couch be paid for by the end of the week saying there was nothing more they could do. Now I am stuck with a brand new couch that has pillows that look awful and I will have to pay a company to come back and try to fix the pillows. I also asked him on our last phone call if the company who made the couch would try to do something about this. Again, that was not answered. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Creative Furniture. We purchased a bedroom set in February with a delivery date of mid June. The stitching and alignment of the fabric on the headboard in the set was defective and I asked for them to replace it. No one at the store took accountability of my issue and it took 2 months of follow up with them to finally get a new headboard, only to find the 2nd one is faulty too. This company expects customers to pay in full prior to delivery and then live with damaged goods upon delivery. They do not want to address the issue but are happy to tell you that the furniture is not supposed to be perfect. read more

My daughter and I were shopping for a couch for her. We knew that Creative Designs was a furniture store on Rt. 46 in Fairfield, but for some reason we always went around it until last Saturday. She purchased a beautiful couch there and when I came home to google the store, I saw a lot of bad reviews and some good of course. We were very nervous after reading them and were ready to cancel. I'm so glad we didn't. Eric, our salesperson told us we would have it in one week. Well, today was 6 days and it arrived exactly at the time they told us they would be there. They don't even deserve the one star! I purchased a bedroom set couple months ago when they came to install it, they installed the hinges wrong. The mirror was scratched. This is not where the real problem is, this furniture store is unprofessional fraud-like company. Until they sell an item they are very helpful as soon as you buy it then you see the real face. I brought a wall art piece from them and wanted to return it since it didn't fit my wall. They gave me this unacceptable respond "we have a nonrefundable policy" This was not stated when we were buying the item. This is their corrupt tactics. This is our favorite furniture place in the area. If you like contemporary furniture this is the place. If you are not sure, take a look anyway, they have beautiful stuff. We bought a sectional over a year ago and it was out of warranty. We had a failure with one of the linear actuators for the electric foot rests. I called this store after seeing a dining table on their website. It was listed with a terrific sale price and said it was in stock. I called the store, in Fairfield, nj, and was told the table was on their floor. I went there the next day and was told they didn't have the table. After I said I was told that the table was on the floor the salesman miraculously found it on the lower level. Then I was told that it was for sale as a floor sample and no others were available. Leon contacted my husband bribing him another 100$ if I remove my review from the Yelp. I even agreed to do this after they send me the money. However, they said that I have to remove my review first. I really think they are doing so bad and so poor in business. They could ask me for donation, I would donate, but they just stole my money. DO NOT GO HERE. My experience was so poor it prompted me to write my first Yelp Review. To spare you from the particularities their customer service is terrible, their commitments are below BBB (Better Business) standards and I would not be surprised if someone sues them soon for their business practices either it being a Civil Case or a Criminal one by the Consumer Protection Services in NJ. This is one of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever witnessed and the sentiments of other customers should be treated as gospel. My experience = Initially the couch was going to take 1.5 months to be shipped from Italy. It took them over 3 months to ship my second couch and they messed up the initial and secondary delivery twice. The first time I took off work and no one notified me of the mix up with "their driver" having an emergency. The whole company has one driver distributing the items. You can speculate why the other people with him could not speak or read English (to establish the work order completion). There is no order follow up no emails no communication from the company, warehouse or delivery... when there are mix ups each person points the finger at one another. The only reason there is one star and not a law suite is because Jimmy (sale person) tried to handle it as best as possible. read more

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! Shoppers beware, do not shop there. Store is filled with dishonest salesman that are merely out to cheat you. We went there to purchase a sofa for our Living Room. We told the salesman, Jimmy, that we have very limited space to work with. We gave Jimmy the dimensions of our room, and he brought us to a very a nice looking leather gray sofa. Jimmy assured us it will fit in the space, and since it was floor model, the cost was reduced significantly. We thoroughly checked the sofa to make sure it was free from defects, especially since there were a lot of mechanics in it. Each piece worked, and we pleaded with Jimmy to take it off the floor when we left so that it would stay working when it arrived to us. He assured us he would, and we therefore purchased the sofa. To our dismay, when it arrived a few weeks later, it wasn't even close to fitting in the space, the delivery man saw that right away...and some of the mechanics were broken. I called the store, and Jimmy was like ooops, sorry, I forget to factor in the depth of the sofa and only calculated the length. Oops! That is all you have to say, oops?! You sell us a non-refundable item, and that is all you have to say, oops?! Isn't this your profession, Jimmy?! We spoke to the manager, and after lots of back and forth, with very irrational people, all they were willing to do was refund us 1k of the 3k purchase price, and to pick up the sofa. In other words, we, the customers, would be out 2k, with no product. How ridiculous is that?! We clearly did not accept the offer, luckily we purchased the warranty, which we're truly hoping functions better than the store.. We WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN, AND we CAUTION YOU NOT TO AS WELL.
