My husband and I have been shopping for a hot tub for over a year now. We have checked out probably every retailer that sells hot tubs in Reno and by far Creative Hot Tub Designs was the most affordable without sacrificing quality, functionality and design. We walked into their store just looking and did not expect to be purchasing that day. The selection and price was to good to pass up. Within 3 weeks our hot tub was being delivered. The owner and their employees were incredibly sweet and very informative. The guys who delivered it were great as well. We have had our tub for about 2 weeks now and have been in it every single night. Temperature holds great too. Last night it was 105 degrees even though the temp set only goes up to 104 and it was 30 degrees outside when we got in. Insulation works amazing. Even after being in the tub 45 min in 30 degree weather the temperature only dropped 2 degrees. At first they were a great company. Then, when you have a warranty issue and your equipment is not working as supposed to, they tell you there is no fix and try to sell you a $300 attachment that won't fix the issue, then they yell at you when you do research and find out there is a fix, then finally get an appointment to get the equipment fixed, they show up and walk in your fenced backyard without telling you they are there. Final straw is when you call the store to speak with the owner, the staff, yet again, are very rude. read more

We recently got our first hot tub. I liked the fact that this is a family owned business. They came out after installing and showed me how to use the frog system. Creative Hot Tub Designs goes above and beyond to make customers happy! We contacted Creative Hot Tub Designs recently because the panel on our swim spa was failing (you couldn't see the display) and I wasn't sure if it would be covered under warranty or not. Not long after I made the call, I received a call from Natasha saying the panel would be replaced no charge under warranty. Natasha and Collin came out to my house and replaced the panel and replaced some screws that had fallen out of the side panels. They were quick, knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up without a trace of being there. We had purchased our swim spa from another Reno spa company prior to Creative Hot Tub Designs being open. I can say that the service department with Creative Hot Tub Designs is head and shoulders about the other store we used to deal with. It was always a fight to get something fixed under warranty, and there was a service charge even with warranty work, but not so with CHTD. I definitely recommend CHTD and Natasha and Collin! read more
