I stopped in to buy a few supplies for our Hot Springs salt water hot tub. They had exactly what I needed, and the sales clerks were nice.

We paid over 13.000 for a hot tub they broke a corner dropping it during delivery it took 5 months to get it fixed then they bowed out 2 sides trying to fix it after quite a few months of calling they came and fixed 2 side panels and left our Hot tub looking like this!! Purchased a spa in April. The Sales person, Kevin, was helpful and seemed to be knowledgeable. He explained that once the spa is delivered and setup to our satisfaction, he would come by to inspect and instruct. That never happen. In fact, the spa was damaged. The panel immediately started to buckle. We are new spa owners, so we were unclear if it was just a settling phase. It was not. We called a week later, and they assured they would order a new panel. That was July and now we are in the middle of October. Still waiting for the panel and noticing the other panels are bucking too. We spent 15K on our spa. If we could, we would return. So disappointed with the quality of this purchase and lack of customer service. read more

Update to previous review. While I love their product, our concierge service is not up to snuff. They have trouble keeping employees, they're always jammed with deliveries and servicing, and today the young man they sent out for our concierge service didn't know how to change the chemical tubes. In fact, he didn't even know he was supposed to check them. Disappointing to say the least when you consider we pay over $100 a month for their car see year service. Love these guys. Had recommendations from several friends when I was in the market to buy a spa. We bought a beautiful Caldera spa and they installed it. We have loved our spa since day one. Relaxing and soothing. The spa chair is my favorite spot in our spa. The leg massage with back jets is incredible. In addition, as newbies to spa ownership, the support from the staff and reminder email we receive are an added bonus. If you were thinking about a spa these are the folks you need to go see. read more

Terribly disappointing customer service. Initial purchasing process was efficient and all the next steps were outlined by the staff member who helped with my spa purchase. Promised delivery in 2-3 weeks. Quickly completed the pre-delivery form and waited...and waited. About 10 days after my purchase I began calling the business regularly to get an update. I was never given a clear answer or scheduled for delivery, the staff did have plenty of lousy excuses. Eventually, I was put in contact with Stephanie who was incredibly rude, raved about her reliability and promised to call me back next day. I received a call 3 days later. I was given a single option for delivery date and treated as a nuisance. Huge supporter of local businesses, but in this case, save your money and buy from Costco. read more

We had a great experience buying ​our Caldera Makena Hot Tub. Shawn Brown was our sales person at the Glendale store in Sparks. This is a large financial purchase​ and I usually do my research​ before making a purchase like this. On Memorial Day we stopped by to check out the sale and committed​ to buy that day. When I got home I was worried that I made too quick of a decision​ and started to research​ the tub we bought. We ended up buying the exact tub I would have bought anyway after doing a lot of​ research​. Shawn guided us to the right tub for my family right out the gate. When you go to buy your hot tub, don't expect to get it quickly. 6-weeks to get delivered, which is fine if you are prepared for it. I was sad but I got over it. We recently purchased a small Hot Springs spa and are thrilled with our purchase. The only thing better than our new tub was our experience in buying it. We went to the showroom to view a specific tub that I had researched; unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Kevin listened to what we had hoped to find and took us to another nearby showroom to see a different brand/model. Bingo! I expressed that I was normally itchy when using other peoples' spas; Kevin recommended Spa Miracle. Not only do I not itch, the water spells like....water! Score! The Lake Tahoe Region has had plenty of snow this season. Kevin explained that they could sled the tub, under the right conditions, to my back deck. I was amazed when the delivery team actually did so in the seconds before the next storm system landed in the area. Actually, they sledded it back there in the pre-storm rain (yuck). I think you can imagine how we appreciated a good soak after days of snow removal. I really had not expected delivery between storms. So, five stars for sure -- above and beyond service! And the tub is PERFECT -- exactly what we dreamed of! read more

This is my experience in calling for service on my hot tub: Strike 1: I was immediately given a high pressure sales pitch on the phone to buy a new hot tub before even discussing the problem I was having with my current one. Strike 2: They could not find my records in their computer even though I have been buying chemicals and filters from them a couple of times a year for over 10 years. Strike 3: When they finally called me back to schedule a repair, the hourly rate was 50% higher than I finally got elsewhere - plus an even higher initial fee just for making the trip to my house. Other customers seem to have given them good sales reviews, but they have lost the opportunity to get a sales review from me due to this poor service call experience. read more

I would like to share my great experience because it really is worth sharing. My husband and I bought our hot tub last summer and finally got our hot tub this February. We support local businesses, especially ones like this one who were supportive to us as we dealt with the effect COVID had on spa production. Once we got our tub we were supported so very well by Natasha! She's super responsive and helpful - she has really taken great care of us! I'd text her pictures of my test strips and she'd tell me what I needed to do. Not only that, she really tested my knowledge along the way! One thing I will mention is we had a little trouble getting the tub to stay hot. We live in the northwest side of Reno so the wind can really cool it down. Come to find out we needed 60 amp power to power both heaters. We got that addressed and reprogrammed today so hopefully we'll be boiling eggs in this bad boy! If you live in a windy part of town, I recommend getting a supplemental cover and buy bungy cords. It's a must! Our cover was damaged in the wind our first night having it. We're still trying to get it fixed. Overall, great experience and I just love our hot tub and Natasha's customer service! read more

We went in three twice, trying to find out information regarding saunas. The salesperson was never there - just a poor gal at the register trying to run the place on her own. After three messages, the salesperson (weeks later) FINALLY got back to us with a quote, and still called my husband by the wrong name. UPDATED REVIEW******original review posted below I am going to leave my original review up as I feel everyone may experience something different. As much as I was over the hills happy with my experience and purchase, I am not anymore. The service department KILLED it for me. I will not recommend anyone to use this company because of the service department who is suppose to service our hot tub. I am not happy that I have to call and deal with them when something goes wrong again in the future. I have always asked them to call 30 min prior to coming so I can put my dogs up and be available. they ALWAYS just showed up with no call and attempted to go in my backyard with no permission. There had been plenty times we set something up and they didn't follow through. long story short ALL the speakers in my hot tub needed to be replaced. when the service guy showed up he put on some classical music and said only one speaker needed to be replaced. I told him absolutely not they all sound horrible and cut in and out and I assured him I was not listening to classical music. I then explained to him I would be very upset if I have to put in yet another call to have him come back out to replace the others that I knew needed to be replaced. so before he left we agreed to replace them all. Well fast forward to weeks later when someone finally came back out to finish this work order (my mom had to be there cause of course they didn't call me) they replaced 3 speakers not 5. I am sooo upset at this point because that was not what we talked about, and this was the 4th time or so they had been out and nothing was getting fixed. so I call to get ahold of someone (the manager) who proceeded to yell at me and argue with me. wouldn't listen to what I had to say. At one point he threatened to hang up on me. Still nothing was done. then I called my sales guy back to explain to him what happen (he's the only good thing in this whole experience). he even put notes in the system so we can get this thing taken care of ASAP, well do you think that happen???? not at all, over 3 weeks go by and finally I had to start calling them to find out how the returns work cause I have not even been able to enjoy this 10,000 product I bought from them. once the deal was done it was like I didn't matter anymore. Well of course they don't want a customer to return a product like this so they got someone out ASAP. yes the tub got fixed but the path it took to get there was ridiculous. the sales department needs to step up there game. I own a business and I would never treat someone like this once they paid for the product/service. I have never had to take back a 5 start review. this is all new to me and it is very upsetting that they allowed it to get to this point and did nothing to fix the issue. Please be extra careful when you decide to purchase such a big investment. ORIGINAL REVIEW******** I am very very happy with the people who work here. so nice so honest and very friendly. Ryan was my sales guy an he didnt give up until we found the PRFECT hot tub. He worked with us through EVERYTHING. he even made a trip to our house a couple weeks after our purchase and delivery to show us how to care for our tub. I have been in communication with him the whole time through every step even AFTER our tub was delivered. He was outstanding. I called them several times and talked to one person that had good phone etiquette. I was looking for someone to repair our hot tub. He told me that I needed to schedule through a lady in the office. I called and left three messages for her. She called me back once and unfortunately I missed the call. I then returned her call and left a message. I did not hear from anyone. I called again and talked to the same gentleman who forwarded my call to a different person. I did leave a message for her. She did not return my call either. I am very disappointed. Nice people but pretty lousy customer service and follow through. You'd think that for $11k they'd make sure that their customer had a solid, correct and complete understanding of all maintenance procedures required, that they would THOROUGHLY explain EVERYTHING that needs to be done to PROPERLY set the thing up, that they would provide full disclosure, and that they would make sure that their customer was supported with access to all replacement parts, filters and chemicals going forward. Nope. They hide the ball. The delivery guys didn't set it up right, and did not leave any instructions for what needed to be done next. The sales guy did not follow up at all to see how things were going. When we got frustrated because no matter what we did the water was still cloudy and dirty, and called, they sent some kid out who knew very little, had to keep calling the mothership to get instructions and then STILL left with one of the most important pieces of equipment STILL not installed. (He also didn't have any replacement filters on his truck, though one working theory was that the OEM filters were defective. I'm sorry, but you'd think that a repair guy for a hot tub company would have a truck well stocked with the most common replacement parts, filters and devices needed for regular maintenance. He also failed to notice that an important piece of equipment that the delivery guys SHOULD have specifically told us about but didn't was never installed at the time of delivery.) So it took a trip to Reno with a water sample to FINALLY be told that the "mineral stick" needed to be installed. which no one ever mentioned anywhere. They also didn't tell us that the "shock" chemical needs to be added regularly, nor did anyone notice that their printed instructions say this is "optional." "Optional?" said the repair guy? Nope. Gotta use it all the time. "Optional?" said the sales guy. Who said that? Don't have to use it all the time, like the repair guy said, but it's not in any way "optional." So which is it guys? YOUR printout says it's optional. YOUR repair guy says it's not. YOUR sales guy doesn't seem to know which is right. In practical reality, I'm not sure you're likely to find anyone better, because I seriously I doubt that hot tub dealers in Reno Nevada are anywhere near the top of the BBB customer service food chain. But if you're thinking of buying a Hotspring spa from these people make sure you get a solid commitment that they will support you through the purchase and delivery process. That they follow up within a week or two of delivery to make sure that you're set up right. That you know ALL of the various maintenance routines and tools you'll need going forward, and that you know where to buy them. (These people seem to be out of stock of everything most of the time.) Then even if you get all that, make sure you read the manufacturer's manual, THOROUGHLY because your sales people haven't read it, and seem unaware of--or just wrong about--a lot of what is in there. Then, finally make sure you identify sources for obtaining all of the replacement filters, devices, chemicals and stuff you will need going forward. The OEM stuff is stupid expensive, but some of it is proprietary and you'll be stuck with having to buy it. (Pro-tip: Filters vary widely in price, but can be found online for pretty cheap. Like $25/each instead of the manufacture's $95/each price. But the salt cartridge is OEM only and pricey.) But shop around and anything that can be ordered online do so...before you actually need it. read more

Kevin stayed in touch, called us here and there to see how he could help, and was never pushy. When it came time to buy, he even came out to our house to check our measurements and ensure our top choice would fit in our master landscaping plan. That's some serious dedication. Showed up as promised, had to pay a $250 trip charge but I figured on that no matter who came out ( we are 95 miles away). Main thing is they fixed my spa and Joey didn't mind my questions on better spa operation. He found the problem literally 2 minutes after removing the cover, charged about what I expected...main thing is they fixed problem and they kept their word. We bought our hot tub two years ago and have been very happy with it. We had a minor glitch with the thermostat right after we bought it but they came out and replaced it in a timely manner and have had no problems since. We love the frogger system, so much better than the bromine tabs we had with our last tub. read more

I purchased my hot tub back a year and a half ago. The crew was great. Set up was super. Kevin was my sales guy and made sure that the tub I needed would work for the snows of Tahoe. His expertise was invaluable. I had my cover fail a bit before it's time and Michelle went to bat for me on the warranty and got a new cover. Lon helped us in our plan to purchase a smaller spa. He was helpful without pressure. The spa had to be ordered and estimated delivery was about 5 weeks away. Had to measure and upload photos to spa area. It only accepts about 3 photos. I wanted to send more, but sent the 3 best. When Rob finally had the spa in, we were having difficulty matching up good delivery dates without heading into another 4 weeks , Rob heard my concerns and squeezed our delivery in at the end of a day. The very next week, when I was available, no more waiting. Luckily someone cancelled and I felt I was on the bonus program! Thank you !!! Finding that space in time was a great gift! After a phone call and a few emails my husband and I decided on one but informed Natasha we had to wait to purchase it until our budget permitted. I've had my Martinique for almost two years now. I had a problem with a good sized leak. The problem ended up being where the speakers had blown, water was entering the inside of the hot tub. My technician Joey was awesome. I was only told about the 5/10 year warranty. (Not the 1 year speaker portion.) Michelle understood my surprise and got the maker to cover the speaker repair under the warranty. Super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company for your hot tub needs. He answered all of the questions we had and told us some things to look for. There was never a hard sell. We chose a Hot Spot tub. The delivery went off without a hitch.
