I ask for a brown ombre, brown at my roots and the original white at the bottom so when I go back to WHITE the bottom wouldn't be as fried. This woman colors my entire head brown. I'm still pissed about it. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have paid for my visit until she corrected the absolutely horrendous coloring job. I took my invalid mother to Coat Cutters in west Owensboro for a haircut. Since it's very…read moredifficult to get her and her walker loaded into the car and into a store, I checked their website in advance, AND I tried calling the business number listed. The website incorrectly said they were open until 6 pm on Friday nights. No one answered my attempted phone call to double check their hours, and the answering machine said "this voice mailbox is full." So we drove to the salon, only to be told that they were closing in one hour at 2:30 pm that Friday, (Sept 24,2021) and that there were no more appointments available. Wow- I tried everything in my power to prevent this frustrating situation, to no avail. The owner or manager of this salon needs to invest some work in updating their website, hiring more staff, and putting the business phone near to where stylists will reach out and pick up the calls. They offered me an appointment the next morning at 10:30, which we were forced to take since I live out of town and was leaving the following day. My mom REALLY needed a haircut . While a stylist finally did do a fine job on cutting my mom's hair the next day, I saw my frustration repeated in other customers' faces as two men came in for haircuts in the short time I was there, but they were told they were booked for the rest of the day! What?! On a Saturday morning?! Also, the phone rang several times while my mom and I were there, but was never answered. Cost Cutters has good prices and the haircut was good enough. But this salon is going to lose a lot of business by disrespecting people's time like this. It's seems likely a management problem.
