Yup!!!! Creative Leather is expensive, but we are so very happy we finally decided to take the plunge and make the purchase. Our journey has been long. We recently remodeled our entire home, including all new furniture. Very short and sweet......WONDERFUL. We ordered our leather sectional in May and just received it in September. Had some glitches....the sectional wouldn't fit through any of our doors! So they took it back and made a completely new sectional that the pieces were small enough to fit through our door and ......they finished rebuilding our sectional in the home! The sales people were helpful and we believed we were getting a quality piece of furniture. Delivery was quicker than expected and initially we were delighted. But an issue with the cushions has had us trying to contact customer service but they are next to impossible to reach. My husband stopped at the store and we were finally able to schedule an appointment with a 4 week wait time (because we live in the far West valley). Two weeks after making the appointment, I realized I had a conflict and tried multiple times to reschedule but no one would return my calls. The repair person showed up at my house and then called my cell phone when no one was home. I apologized to him for the wasted trip but explained that multiple calls to re-schedule had been ignored. When I got home, customer service had called my home phone and left a message but I have been unable to reach them since and that has been over three weeks. Called the store, sent e-mails, called and left voice mails with customer service and even corporate office. You won't get a person to answer the phone or call back. read more

We purchased a sofa, five leather chairs, and 3 ottomans. Initially, Toby, our salesman, indicated we would relieve our sofa before our engagement party only to find out we would get it three days AFTER our party. The sofa had a bit of damage and after several weeks, they sent a tech to fix it. Also, one of the chairs makes noise and since it's in the library, we preferred that our $1000 chair didn't make noise. It's now been sent back four times to have the issue resolved. They've had it for weeks this time so we asked to speak to a supervisor. We were given a number for Wes. The number given to us is not a good number for Wes. We called back and we were told there's nothing they can do but transfer to that number. We ordered our furniture in early February, it's now May and this has not been resolved. Our next step is the Better Business Bureau. I would choose another company for your furniture. Although they have nice furniture, their customer service is horrible. Do not buy from Creative Leather!!!!!! We shopped for quality that would last and instead found a deteriorating leather finish and no responsible answers from Creative Leather. The finish on the leather is flaking off after little wear especially on one cushion and on the arms of the sofa. (while not acknowledging fault they did give 30%off to recover the cushion) Despite photos of the finish wearing off after less than a year of wear, Creative Leather would not admit to a faulty product. Instead I was informed they warranted the inside of the cushion but not the leather. They attributed the flaking to the use of lotions or oil from skin. We purchased a leather sofa (from a quality store) that looked beautiful after twenty five years of hard family wear. We replaced the inside cushions once in those years and now our son has comfortably used the sofa for three years. The leather is still beautiful. We expected an investment sofa and instead we've been extremely disappointed. This sofa still sits beautifully and from a distance looks beautiful but the finish on the leather in certain areas looks terrible. I'm so terribly disappointed in Creative Leather. You'll be disappointed with extra money spent if you expect quality. read more

Today (Saturday) I went into Creative to look around, strongly considering ordering a custom sectional from them. We walked in close to closing time, greeted by Frank the sales associate and he asked if we needed help with anything, we said no, we were just looking at the moment & as soon as that was said Frank proceeded to say firmly "well we close at 6". We immediately turned around and walked out feeling very unwelcome and uncomfortable. As a business, I would hope that regardless of the time, we would not be in less words told to leave. Because of this experience we will most likely be purchasing a couch elsewhere solely based on the unfriendly and in my opinion unpleasant customer service that we received by him. Last November my wife and I started to shop around looking for a good L-shaped leather sectional. We tried all the big name furniture stores but most stores could not accommodate our design or the material used (leather was a poor grade or the sofa frames came from China and then assembled in the US). So we visited Creative Leather and was greeted by Chrissy. She invited us to see the showroom and shortly we found two different sectionals we liked. Chrissy took the time show us how the furniture was made "and yes it was made in the USA". After we narrowed down our selection, Chrissy reviewed all the different leathers and padding's (foam) available. She also checked with each of us to make sure we were comfortable when sitting on the sofa (as she mentioned, we would be having this furniture for a long time). We placed our order and the sectional was delivered yesterday. It was impeccable, the leather was perfect, everything was per our order. I know time will tell on the furniture, but after sitting down and feeling the sofa you could tell the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of the assembly (that also goes the the delivery guys, they were ever so careful with the pieces). I do update with Yelp, so will advise. But as of the section they offer, the quality and the service we couldn't have received better. read more

After looking for leather reclining sofas and chairs at Lazy Boy and discovering their so-called leather furniture was actually bonded leather ( a paper thin sheet of ground up leather with binders pressed into a fabric backing), we knew we did not want any more of that. We then went nearby in Arrowhead Mall region to Creative Leather. We explained our visit to the Lazy Boy store and that we did not want any furniture made with bonded leather. The sales person And I think the store manager) said we do not have any bonded furniture in the store. 'All our furniture is real leather' he assured us. We bought a large reclining leather sofa and matching recliner chair. That was a little over 3 yrs ago. When we moved 2+ yrs ago we went back and purchased another matching recliner chair and a swivel leather barrel chair. Altogether around &10,000 of furniture. Now we discover we were lied to as some paper thin leather has pulled away revealing a fabric base under. It is all made of bonded leather. He also told us it carried a 5 yr warranty. When we informed them of their deception they acknowledged our pieces were of bonded leather and denied telling us otherwise of course. We paid at least 1/3 more believing it was of real leather and expected it to last at least 12 to 15 yrs as our other leather sofas and chairs had done in the past. Then they told us the 5 yr warranty was only on the frame and the 'fake' full leather components were only warranted for 1 yr. we never saw this warranty. Beware you might not want to buy from this company. I purchased a couch that I thought would be high quality in August of 2013. I just got off the phone, with customer service, because the color where I sometimes rest my head is coming off. I bought from Creative Leather because I thought they were a local company and would stand behind their product. I was told today that I could call a leather specialist or pay another $500 to replace the cushion. Now we ALL know that if they replace the cushion it will probably not match. The last leather couch I had lasted about 18 years and looked better that this one does after 15 months. It also was with a local company back in Illinois and they stood behind there product. It's lasted so long that we have decided we want a different color! We shopped around and couldn't find anything for the quality or price that Creative Leather offers! Purchased a $6,000 sectional from Creative Leather, less than 3 months after having the sectional we noticed the seam under the arm rest was coming undone (this is the seam where the 3 corners meet). We contacted the store we bought it at, Bell and 67th Ave. location. Told us to contact customer service, we did, they wanted pictures, and sent someone (a leather tech) out to look at it. First , they were going to charge us $150.00 pick up and delivery fee and $50.00 an hour to fix it, said it would take probably up to 4 hrs. Well, of course we thought this was unfair and it should be covered under the warranty, NOT!! they tried to say we were rough on the couch!!! OMG!!! I take very good care of ALL our furniture, especially one that cost $6,000. After, going back and forth with the company and getting the President involved in the matter, Creative Leather was not willing to stand behind their product, kept insisting it was our fault. We even recommended a friend (before this took place) and they bought a sectional close to the same amount. We are VERY disappointed in this company and will NEVER buy or RECOMMEND them to anyone. This is absolutely insane that they would not repair this (it was a small tear) to keep a customer. Especially, when the sectional was only about 3 months old. This was the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. PERIOD. They promised the furniture would be complete within 4-6 weeks. I ordered my bed frame on 9/4. It was not delivered until early December. The design was completely wrong from how we designed it in the store. The sales woman COMPLETELY missed my most important criteria, the reason I was getting a custom bed frame in the first place. I was VERY clear about wanting the rails out of the way tucked under the bed. I received the exact opposite when the rails stuck out almost half a foot. No idea how she missed that. When putting my bed together I noticed my box springs would not fit. They messed up the measurements! I waited 3 months for the wrong bed frame and measurements. Fortunately, they said they would rebuild the railings, just the railings, so the box spring would fit. I waited another 7 weeks for JUST the new rails. When they finally arrived...they forgot to drill the inserts where they meet with the headboard. Are you serious?!? They took them back and scheduled my THIRD delivery. I told the saleswoman I did not want to have to tip their delivery guys again. She lied and told me they would take care of them for me. Complete utter lie. I finally have the wrong bed frame 19 weeks after ordering. WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER!!!! read more

Well, today is 6 weeks and no couch. They are now saying we should have it "by the end of the month"--another 2 weeks. I was not very diligent about reading the sales agreement but I have no recourse. No refunds. No exchanges. I cannot cancel even if they take 3 months to deliver. In 2005 upon a friend's enthusiastic recommendation we visited the Creative Leather store in Glendale. We were interested in buying a leather sofa and chairs for our family room. We were very impressed with the quality of their furniture and the fact that it is built locally. We were, also, impressed with the fact that we could have Creative Leather replace the foam cushions as the pieces age. Recently we replaced the foam cushions on the sofa. We took them to the factory because they have the equipment to do that easily but they can, also, be done in the store or in a customer's home. The set we purchased in 2005 is still in beautiful condition. We expect it to last our life times and be passed on to our children. In 2013 we purchased a more formal sofa and loveseat for our living room. They are gorgeous and very comfortable. We love that Creative Leather has many different styles that are made to order with a large selection of leather. The sales people, Jeanne, Toby and Chrissy, are very knowledgeable about all of their furniture and how it is made as well as finish on each type of leather. (We wanted to be sure we purchased leather that doesn't absorb oil from skin.) They will even come to a customer's home to make recommendations. In 2014 we realized we needed additional seating in our family room so purchased a reclining loveseat. We were amazed that we were able to get an exact color match for our 2005 sofa. Jeanne even ordered the leather to come to her store so we could be sure. The reclining mechanism has a life time warranty which cinched our decision to go that route. The customer service that the sales people and Jim in the customer service department have given has been excellent. Jim even gave my husband a tour of the factory when he was there to get the foam cushions replaced. And Jeanne gave me great instructions on cleaning the sofa. read more

Buyer Beware! Bought my sofa from Creative Leather in Glendale. Took approx 6 weeks to receive, sofa was delivered and set up in living room, signed and they left. We were just moving in so we had them set it back up close to a wall. A week later we moved it to find a small patch of leather was roughed up and damaged. Had to be done at transportation because it was not touching wall and no one could walk behind it. Called the customer service rep. He told me they would not do nothing about it because it was not notice at delivery. Never thought I would need to look over a 7 thousand dollar sofa. Thought I was dealing with a reputable company. I think what makes me the most upset is that they never even bother to come out and look at it and I called my sales rep and she never even bother to call me back. WOW terrible customer service, I would stay far away from this store.
