It was time for a refresh. I went to multiple stores, but I somehow always end up back at Nick's furniture on Cactus and 35th Ave. Their team is professional and customer centric! They have so many options and manufacturers to choose from that offer different styles and colors! I ordered a sofa and loveseat on a Friday and stressed the fact that my current couch was getting picked up Saturday morning, and I needed something immediately and they didn't disappoint as usual! Sofa and loveseat were delivered by Saturday afternoon. Luis was great! He delivered both put them together set them up exactly how I wanted them set up in my great room and did it in a very thoughtful and clean manner. Do your research before purchasing from Nicks Furniture, I purchased a 5 piece bedroom set in August 2023, and the bed broke in half January 2024. It was a gift from my elderly mother so there was no reason why it should have lasted such a SHORT time. Upon inspection it looks like the bed was made from pressed cardboard and stapled together. I reached out for assistance and they told me I was Out of luck since the manufacturer was out of business and they couldn't do anything. I've bought all my apartment furniture here at Nick's. I always get the best customer service. The sales associate acknowledged that she remembered me. ^_^ Another employee even showed me how to put my bed together (He assembled one of the "display frames" at the store) The prices are very affordable. They even offer a 5% military discount! I was excited that my bed frames were in stock & I didn't have to wait. On display items not so much. Not huge like ikea or american warehouse. Prices very cheap compared to same products in other store. Mostly Ashley's and Poundex products. But you can show model and order it. Assistance in shop very bad. Couple of guys only and they are also involved in inventory works. If more than 2 customers are in shop then I don't think they will be able to assist. read more

I had a great experience here! I had found a dresser at Ashley Furniture, but was hesitant to purchase it there as it was rather pricey, plus they wanted $50 just for dropping the box at my door with zero assembly, and did not have an option to pick it up from the store. I found the exact dresser at Nick's, and after taxes, the total came out to be less than half the price than it would have been at Ashley. I received personal phone calls from the team there to keep me informed of the status of my order, they answered all of my questions, and it arrived at the 35th and Cactus location less than a week after ordering. Went in here looking for a sectional. They had THE PERFECT ONE. we bought it instantly. Only to find out hours later they over sold and no longer had it in stock. Originally i was upset. But i went back the next day. Found a good option for the right price and bought it. This time they made sure they had it in stock. Delivered it within the week. My wife was looking for a new desk but something that wasn't to big. We looked on offer up and this place popped up on it. We went in to take a look at a couple desks and found one that she liked. We purchased it and had it loaded in our car with in 15 minutes. The staff wasn't pushy at all and was very friendly. The backroom people were also help and got out desk for us quickly. Long story short, I had a poor experience at this location. Initially, walking in the store, sales people are NON EXISTENT and the lady behind the desk isnt friendly or helpful or the guy that ran my purchase. Blah Blah. The store overall is blah! Maybe being a little friendlier and more helpful with your customers, could do your business good! As well as handling any customer service issues promptly and effectively. Not to go into boring detail with my experience, but it could have all been handled and taken care of better. I drove quite a distance to get to this store due to the fairly good rating. However, when I pulled up I was weary as the neighborhood it is located in is not the greatest. I decided to keep an open mind. I walked through the doors and was greeted by NO one. To be honest I rarely review, but this type of customer service is appalling in this day and age. I walked through the store looking around for bar stools - tip: there are literally few to none. And as I was walking towards the exit, still NO ONE greeted me or said goodbye. Mind you there were about four people in there that I saw that were just sitting around chatting. This is a definite letdown and I will not be returning. read more

I stopped by just to grab a rug from here specifically. I was also looking for a couch and office chairs, ended up ordering two chairs! My biggest complaint about this place is they will lie to you about expected delivery dates. I was told the latest would of been Thursday, Monday if I'm lucky but it arrived a week after that expected date on a Monday. Ended up waiting two weeks before it's even arrived. I had to call them even though they were supposed to call to confirm my order had arrived. So expect to baby sit your order. Also, after this frustrating experience I also couldn't get cash so I could pick up office chairs that my business needed and was without for longer than it should of been. The customer service is ass, they don't greet you at the door and are very reserved. No one seems to care about this place to build relationships with customers. My experience is pretty up to par with previous reviews of the place and of course I find out about their poor standards after the fact. Won't be back ever! read more

What a horrible horrible business. I bought 2 recliners and a couch from them. The couch is fine however we have had nothing but problems with the recliners. Neither recliner goes down easily at all - in fact sometime the recliners will not go down at all. The store refuses to do anything whatsoever. They basically told me all sales are final and good luck. Would advise stay far far away. You deserve to spend your hard earned money at any other number of furniture places. From the beginning to the end, worse experience ever. Picked furniture out with amanda and I found a cute sectional. She looked to see if it was in stock and it wasnt, so she wrote my number down to call me when it was available. She end up helping me pick out another sectional for the same price. Fast forward to the next day, she calls me and I'm thinking maybe my furniture came in early smh nope. She tells me guess what, your sectional is now in stock lmao I'm like maybe you forgot, but I already bought a couch with you and shes like oh yeah I forgot smh strike 1. I was told I would get my secotional in 2 weeks, which would have been 9/23, but I never received a call, so I waited until friday 9/25 to see what was going on. I was on hold for 10 mins just for the lady to tell me a shipment came in today, but they would have to shuffle through it to, see if my couch was apart of it and would give me a call at the end of the day smh it was noon when I called smh strike 2. Now we are at today strike 3. I was told my furniture would be delivered today 9/28 and how I would receive a call before they arrive at my house. It was 2pm and nobody called me, so I called to see if they were still going to deliver my couch. I was told yes, I would be the last delivery and how he would make sure someone would call me smh it's a little after 5pm and I receive a call and the person on the line says hes from Nick's furniture and was wondering if someone was home and I said yes. This damn fool tells me hes here to deliver my couch smh what happened to the call before arriving smh oh and that wasnt the best part people. I was told by amanda my couch would be delivered and assembled, but the delivery guys said no that's an extra $90 on top of the $60 I paid for delivery smh are you kidding me. read more

I hate to say this but if I can give it negative stars..I would! Customer service is terrible and takes months for product to be in stock. When product is in stock, the pick up process takes longer. The lady at the front was extremely lazy and gave us misinformation. They barely have any employees to help you and most of the time you're just waiting for a competent one. Found Nicks online and ordered a bed on a Monday. I received a call about two hours later from Brian confirming my order and letting me know it would be ready for pick up by the end of the week. He let me pick which location I wanted the bed delivered to. On Sat I got a call from Brian saying it was ready for pick up. Went in and signed my paperwork and the guys loaded the bed in the truck. We got home unboxed a brand new bed with no flaws and assembled it very easily. Our transaction was smooth with no problems. Great price and great customer service.
