However, I saw Hawaii Events Unlimited at a wedding expo and decided just to email to see how they were. I'm so glad I did! Even though we were just looking for a DJ, they offer so many other services! So if you're looking for package deals, they would be really great for that also. They were super responsive through email and we even set up a phone meeting with one of their DJs, Nate. We were able to talk to him and he was so great, so that convinced us to book them right away. He listened to everything we wanted and totally understood what we were thinking. They also had a questionnaire for us to fill out which helped us with all our music choices. Hope, from the office, emailed us to keep us on track. We even had a final phone call with her to make sure everything was set. They were so great at communicating which made me feel so much better about the whole process. And the day of... AMAZING!! It was everything we had wanted. Music makes such a huge difference and it was such a great vibe! The music was just perfect, everything flowed so smoothly, they are soooo nice and easy to work with. What else can I say? Just if you need a DJ or any other services, I would look here first and see all the things they offer, and you can probably save some money too with packages. Great people, great company, great job. Bien was very professional, provided helpful guidance on general posture/stance/hand positioning, and was just overall a fun person to be around (which helps for capturing genuine smiles, since photoshoots can be intimidating). Bien put energy and thought into the location, background, and lighting, which was reflected later in the photos. I was most impressed by how he was able to turn a woodsy area in Hawaii into an alpine scenery. It was raining on and off that day, so it already provided a fall vibe, but Bien's added talent transformed a potentially challenging on-and-off rainy day into an impressively lit, lush, and colorful landscape. Our party was in the Trellis Room and the aesthetic is so cute! It's designed to look like a garden and is very spacious. This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. Caller & spoke with the owners & scheduled for my husband to swing by & view. Whelp, lucky us, we have a great karaoke space in our hood! Online reservations make it easy to see what's available. We opted for the pergola room (teenagers bday party) which accommodates 24. Super cute setup, very spacious, private bathroom (it was kinda hidden!). We were allowed to being in our own food & drinks, & they were kind enough to allow me to have personal decorations put up before my daughter arrived. I can't tell you firsthand how the karaoke system setup is (the teenagers made the decisions for the night) but I do know the songs were submitted via their phones. There a QR code to scan, etc. Either way, there weren't any mixups with the songs, pretty smooth. They do have a one/ time charge of $3 per person, if I remember correctly that's like a clean up fee. They also offer some small snacks. Various rooms to accommodate all size parties! They're located in Westgate shopping center, upper floor (Thelma's Filipino food & Leeward drive in are downstairs). Parking lot is decent sized but can definitely fill up with the number of other establishments here.
