She did a good job of directing me and my whole family how to pose for the wedding photos. We had good communication with here after the wedding about when our photos would be ready and how to access them. There was a good mix of traditional wedding photos and some more modern photos, which is what I asked for. She did a good job of capturing candid moments of our wedding guests, which makes the photos feel more personalized. My family and I did a Christmas Mini Photoshoot with Michele, and it was such a great experience! She was super professional and quick to reply to all my questions through Instagram and email. Her directions to the location were clear and easy to follow, which made things simple and stress-free. On the day of the shoot, Michele was so warm and friendly. Our 2.5-year-old had just woken up from her nap, and we also brought our 11-month-old Boxer puppy, so you can imagine the energy! Michele went with the flow, was incredibly patient, and made everyone (including the dog!) feel comfortable. Michele absolutely goes above and beyond. I was planning a surprise proposal, and I am not exaggerating when I say the proposal was perfect, the pictures are perfect, and none of it would have happened without Michele. From the get go, she made the whole process fun, friendly, and easy. The idea was to pretend my fiancee was going to a scavenger hunt and the final clue leads us to the proposal. Michele got the idea quickly and really played into it, added some ideas, and helped with picking out decorations. In fact, she had an amazing idea to have the walkway decorated with pictures from our relationship and went out the way to print the photos and get frames for the photos. Additionally she printed out the clues and hid them in the property (and let me know where they all were). She even orchestrated the timing of it all so we would be there right during sunset to get the best lighting for the moment and for the photos. When we arrived she played the "scavenger hunt" host, and even made up a story about a family that had tried to do the scavenger hunt the day before. It was great! When we got the proposal spot, Michele was ready with her cameras and captured the whole thing. We stayed for a photoshoot, and Michele made it all so special and easy, with lots of great spots for photos and poses. The photos all look absolutely beautiful. I was referred to her from a family friend that also had het family pictures taken by Michele. I reached out to Michele via email months before my family and I would be in Oahu. Thankfully I reached out to her when I did because she had availability for only one day in the time we were in Hawaii. Prior to booking our family photo session, Michele called me and went over all the places we can take pictures and she answered all of my questions. She emailed me a contract and from there we locked everything in. The week or so before she sent an email to confirm our photo session and sent a couple reminder text messages prior to the actual day of our pictures. She was adamant about what time we should leave where we were staying in Honolulu to meet her at Laniakea Beach. I'm glad she told us because had we left when we thought we should leave we would've been late for our family pictures. She also sent us maps and directions prior. We arrived at Laniakea Beach a little early but Michele was already there and she was happy to start our photo session a little earlier than scheduled. Michele was super nice and energetic she made our family pictures so much fun. My two boy's loved her and they had just as much fun taking pictures. Granted I don't have young kids but trying to get two "older" brothers to stay focused for pictures can be just as challenging as toddlers. Michele told us how she wanted us for our pictures. She took a good amount of pictures of us posing and also candid shots. Our photo session flew by, when we arrived the sun was shining and by the time we finished it was dark - we definitely utilized the amazing sunset. Michele told us she would have our pictures to us in two weeks (which was in the contract). She delivered our pictures via email a day early! Her email explains everything and to download our pictures were super easy and the print quality is amazing. I was super excited to receive our pictures and upon opening the email and viewing our pictures I was so impressed that I was in tears. Michele took so many amazing pictures her photography skills are impeccable and the love she puts into her photos really shine through. To top it off, the background of Laniakea Beach is stunning!!! We normally take professional family photos every couple of year's. We've taken pictures in many places with different photographers and I can honestly say Michele was so professional and her vibe was great. We live in California (the Bay Area) and there's not a lot of family friendly photographers that I would use. My family and I really enjoyed our photo session with Michele, and with all the amazing pictures she took she definitely holds a special place in my heart!
