We drove to thier other facility in Huntington Beach to see if we could find out what happened and were informed by the staff that was drinking and smoking pot in the parking lot that the key had been left under the mat for us. Not being mind readers we did not know that and couldn't understand how a business could be run in such a manner. I negotiated a free rental only to find out that the room we rented was not fully equiped as promised. A complete waste of time. Extremely unprofessional. I may have been drinking heavily at the time but integrity doesn't go away, unless one never had it in the first place. He is a consummate professional and one of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life, who makes this look easy (doing music professionally). The only people who would leave a negative review are posers and reverse-shills. Having worked with Frank in nearly every facet, short of being taught how to play drums (I have taught with him though for years), it goes without saying for me, that he is worth every star I just gave him, because that is what he is: a star and a sun. If you don't believe that as well, it is because you reside in the shadows, where you belong. A bright star casts a dark shadow, and there you are. Frank has played on many of my songs and has recorded and engineered on more songs than I can count well beyond my meager contribution to music as an art form. You don't need to take my word for it. Try him yourself, and then one will not be speaking from a place of ignorance, in the shadows.

So I recorded a track in my apartment, but I needed to record a vocal track which I can't do with…read morefull voice. I found Marcos on Yelp to get the vocals done and the session went very smoothly. He got me up and running on the mic pretty quickly and 6 passes later we comped the best takes. Very happy with the results in his cool studio. Little did I (or he know) that we knew each other from bands from 25-20 years ago--we just hadn't recognized each other until we mentioned those bands. Small world it is!
