The entire audience seemed excited for the performance, with the Christmas spirit felt throughout the lobby and theater. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The available concessions were tasty, though the spiked eggnog was sorely missed this year. One recommendation would be to improve communication regarding drink availability at the bars. If certain beverages are not served at the theater entrance bar (like hot cocoa and coffee), they should not appear on that menu, or guests should be informed before waiting in line. I witnessed dozens of theatergoers being told after a long wait that hot drinks were only available at the side bar by the front windows which created a lot of unnecessary frustration. The Wells Theatre has a wonderful antique nostalgia while remaining well maintained and very clean. We were fortunate to experience the show from a completely different seat location that previous years, on the opposite side of the house, and the updated writing and script changes were enough to keep the production feeling fresh and engaging. We also appreciated the intermission being placed after the First Spirit rather than after the Second, as in previous years, as it made the acts feel more balanced. Additionally, the return of the Third Spirit's in-audience entrance was definitely appreciated.

Since she was parking, I went to will call and gave her name. The lady literally takes out 4 tickets and rips 2 to trash before I could even say anything. For them to have no parking super close, how can one assume we wouldn't need to number of tickets we ordered? I told her there was actually 4 of us and she said there was some glitch in the system then gave us 2 seats in a completely different section. Once my friend arrived, she showed them her tickets from online to see we were supposed to be on completely different spots? Since it was too close to show time, we suffered the first act in the mezzanine then the rest in the orchestra seats. Honestly made SUCH a difference. 3.5 rounded up because the play was great, but I hope they fix whatever glitch their system is going through because it put a sour taste in my mouth.

I thought we were really running late and were going to l be rushing to get in before doors closed but we got in with 20 minutes to spare. Getting through security was a breeze. Allied Universal did a great job getting people through efficiently. I had a clear bag so they didn't even have to search through it. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the security at the door to the usher who helped us find our seat. We purchased our ticket on Ticketmaster and they were super easy to quickly pull up and scan using the Apple Wallet feature. The show was fantastic and Josh Johnson was hilarious. I do recommend that if you want to buy merch or have to use the bathroom you do so before the show ends because it's quite chaotic with everyone trying to leave at the same time. The location of the men's bathroom on the second floor goes against the flow of the crowd of you're on the first floor like we were. All in all though I highly recommend this venue and would not hesitate to see a show here again.

The acrobatic skill level was the best I've seen in years! The two muscle/strength guys- I still don't know how you did it!?!?! There isn't a bad seat in the house and the volunteers absolutely go out of their way to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. As a disabled person I have my challenges and they really go above and beyond to ensure I am comfortable and cared for. Every single volunteer is pleasant and thoughtful and they all give 100%. The costumes, direction and choreography of the plays is spot on and the attention to detail is very professional. I am always blown away at the level of professionalism here. As I said earlier, it's a level above what one normally finds in community theater. It is a fun experience to attend these performances. Of all the performances, there was only one that we thought was a little cheesy. Otherwise, we loved the show and had a great time. I was considering bringing my 4 year old niece, but there are parts of the show that I thought could be scary to a small child. I would guess most of the kids there were probably 6-10 years old. If you're looking for something different to try out, definitely give this a go. The arena is pretty small too, so i wouldn't recommend paying the VIP price for tickets, since there's only about 20 rows of seats anyway.

The theatre's name might include the word little, but it has a large heart! Let's keep it clean! While we are big fans of Broadway in New York City, and have purchased season tickets to Broadway in Norfolk, the Little Theatre of Norfolk provides amazing shows and performances that we highly recommend. So, when a friend saw that LTN was offering 'In the Heights, A New Musical' by Lin-Manuel Miranda, we couldn't wait to join them for the show. It was their first time at LTN. This classic psychological drama tells the story of Bella Manningham and her manipulative husband Jack, whose strange behavior slowly convinces Bella that she may be losing her sanity. Without giving away the mystery, the production builds suspense masterfully and delivers a powerful payoff that keeps the audience fully engaged. As for the seats and auditorium: They were comfortable and wider than many other venues. The sound for my performance was real good. Staff: Very very friendly. Most seemed older and seem to handle moving the 1000+ folks in and out very well. Concessions: got pretty busy but it did move along. Maybe 1 or 2 more persons behind the counter could have helped. As for food and drink: Typical snack bar fair and wasn't too bad priced. Not nearly as high as other places. Parking: Although not necessarily the Sandler's alone. Wasn't too bad. But we got to the center early and I'm glad we did. I think a visitor could be pressed with parking if a Friday or Saturday night when the local restaurants and bars were more full. My show was on a Tuesday. So overall a solid place to take in a show. I would have no problem visiting again.
