Tim does recitals periodically, and the students are talented. Some are beginner, others advanced. Some kids, some teens, some adults, so all ranges really. If you're looking for piano lessons, SK Piano academy is a good place to start, and I cannot say enough good things about Tim.

I scheduled a day and time to meet with Tristi and it couldn't have been better. It didn't even seem like my daughter was not playing for a few months. Tristi made her very comfortable and she was very patient with my daughter. She is very well versed in piano as she recently graduated from a very prestigious music school so I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and expertise. Tristi had informed me that they just started the business recently and they already had about 30 students. The piano academy itself has a waiting room and 3 private rooms. One room is Simeon's teaching room and 1 room is Tristi's teaching room. They also have a room with a chalkboard to teach piano theory. Prices are reasonable and are similar to ones I paid before. They offer discounts if you pay quarterly which is great. I would definitely suggest that if you or your child is at all interested do yourself a favor and receive the free introductory lesson. You may find that your child may actually enjoy playing. P.S. My daughter chose to meet with Tristi without even considering Simeon but after meeting Simeon, he has such a great attitude that I don't think my daughter would have minded having him as her teacher. Our granddaughter has come so far since finally finding and dedicating herself to Ms Ana's teaching. Ballet teaches children discipline, physically, and emotionally. Preparing them to succeed in the future. Ms Ana is firm, but never unkind, unlike some of the previous studios we attended. She inspires her students. Because there were no photos or detailed descriptions of the event spaces, I stopped by in person to understand what would be possible. The front desk staff was kind and showed me around, and I found a room that felt like a great fit for a welcome gathering for the growing Working Families Party in Virginia. I submitted my request in late December. I expected things to move slowly because of the holidays, but when I hadn't heard back by January 5, I called to follow up. I was told my application had been received, everything looked good, and I received verbal confirmation that we could host the event pending one final approval. I followed up by email to confirm details and waited. After six days with no response, I followed up again by email. Two days later, I called and learned the Sales & Event Coordinator was out due to medical issues. That is completely understandable. However, since final approval was supposedly with someone above her, I didn't understand why no one else could give clarity. I even offered to share my contact information with the events director or whoever was responsible for final approval. Two days later, on a Friday afternoon, I received a call letting me know the event was not approved due to its political affiliation. I understand that not every organization allows political gatherings. What's frustrating is that this wasn't communicated upfront or handled quickly. Instead, I spent 21 days waiting for confirmation, only to be denied three weeks before my event, leaving me scrambling to find a new location for a Sunday afternoon gathering. If political events aren't allowed, that should be clearly stated on the website or addressed early in the review process. A simple, transparent policy would have saved me a lot of time and stress.

We always enjoyed the remarkable talent, time, and commitment this local theatre brings out to share with the community from the fantastic stage designs and sets to its diverse and talented casts of performers. The Green Room offers light refreshments for purchase and has fundraising raffles, too. It's a neat place to stop into during intermission, and you're now permitted to bring your beverage into the theatre now, as long as you're mindful to remove and dispose of your trash when leaving the theatre. The theatre's name might include the word little, but it has a large heart! Let's keep it clean! While we are big fans of Broadway in New York City, and have purchased season tickets to Broadway in Norfolk, the Little Theatre of Norfolk provides amazing shows and performances that we highly recommend. So, when a friend saw that LTN was offering 'In the Heights, A New Musical' by Lin-Manuel Miranda, we couldn't wait to join them for the show. It was their first time at LTN. We're all big fans of Lin-Manuel and this weekend's performance did not disappoint. We were moving to the beats and humming in our seats. As for the show--Gaslight--I was genuinely impressed. The acting was superb, the set design captured the period beautifully, and the tension of the story was carried expertly by the cast. This classic psychological drama tells the story of Bella Manningham and her manipulative husband Jack, whose strange behavior slowly convinces Bella that she may be losing her sanity. Without giving away the mystery, the production builds suspense masterfully and delivers a powerful payoff that keeps the audience fully engaged. If you enjoy live theatre performed at a high level, The Little Theatre of Norfolk is well worth a visit.
