The DJ even provided us with a timeline of the evening in advance, and checked in throughout the night which I loved (things like- your dance with your dad is in 5 minutes, I'm going to make sure he is ready to go too). Spinnin Discs did both my ceremony music and the reception - so they assigned us 2 DJs for the entire day. We worked with Anthony and he was great. They make it really easy for you to select songs on their website - listing out all the specific portions of the ceremony processional and reception that you need to select songs for. The need to select a list of songs for cocktail hour, dinner, etc. was a little overwhelming for me - I would have preferred if they would have gotten an idea of what kind of music we liked and went with that. Overall, I think the DJs did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor. I loved when he threw in some old school Blink 182 for everyone to dance to. My only complaint is that he played all of my "Must Plays" in a row more toward the end of the night instead of spreading them out. I also like that they do a good job of coordinating and practicing with you for introductions to make sure they get all the names pronounced right.
