I was devastated when the great Harvey flood invaded our home & destroyed much of its contents. The flood insurance adjuster was very clear that the government does not replace antiques. It would, however, pay for their repair IF they were repairable. I chose the four pieces which meant the most to me - a chaise, a 9-drawer dresser, a bombe chest, & a 1952 piece which I had promised my mother on her death bed that I would keep. I entrusted these to Creative Style Furniture after an extensive search for a company capable of undertaking the restoration. I could not be happier with the results. My chaise was completely rebuilt complying with my directive of maintaining its original size & fit. It's beautiful! Wonderful work! I am a designer and I use CSF often for projects. You should never expect to get custom work done that is all three: fast, good, and cheap. Lets face it, you would not like the outcome. CSF does great work and one the price spectrum, they are reasonable compared to some of the other high end shops around town. The lead times are not fast, but they are the same as the other high end workshops. 8-10 wks. Their work is very professional and the seams are straight and clean. They offer a variety of fills and you can try them at the showroom. You may check on the progress of your pieces and the team is very nice and accommodating. Found this company on the internet and decided to use them based on reviews I saw. Project was to meld four full size cow skins into a large rug about 10' X 11'. Picked the finished rug up yesterday and it turned out just how I imagined and looks great. They were very detailed oriented and when picking it up wanted to make sure I was happy with the results.
