From the very first class, I realized this isn't just a typical dance studio--it truly feels like a community. Uno teaches full dance covers of entire songs, incorporates formations, and even films the dances in costume, which makes the experience feel complete and rewarding. There are also opportunities to perform throughout the year, which is a huge plus if you enjoy performing or want something to work toward. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and full of positive energy. I genuinely look forward to every class, and dancing consistently has also helped me with my fitness and confidence. But Uno's killer body workout is so much fun, I hardly even realize I'm doing a workout! Not only do we learn dance moves, but she also trains us in better posture and is an exceptional motivator! I've gained so much confidence in my body since coming here! I also sign up for her kpop adult dance class, where she teaches us the full choreography of a song and lets us dress up as a pop-star group at the end of learning the full choreography! Each year she gives us an opportunity to attend extra rehearsals and perform on stage. These are optional performances, and those of us that request to perform put in extra time and effort to make it special and put a good show! She fosters such a kind and supportive community and everyone in the class has been so friendly and welcoming! Khloe was the lady who had started the process for us and was very nice & helpful. She would always answer our calls whenever we had any questions regarding what we could and what we couldnt have at the venue. Somewhere along the way it was switched over to another person named Alo. And THIS is where everything went down hill. Everything that we had already signed and discussed prior to this switch was never forwarded to her. This lady would never answer her phone when we needed her for answers to questions that were being asked to us. So 2 weeks prior to the wedding we trying to contact her and her communication with us was non existent. Our vendors had questions and when we were trying to get answers she would never respond back. But when it came to MONEY and making sure we pay she was always calling. Our wedding day came 9/27/25 and it was a complete disaster at our reception. She was never on sight. And when she did finally show up after blowing her phone 10 times she didnt know where the DJ could plug into their system, she didnt know she had to be there to control the lighting for our first dance, garter dance ect. which is what i signed for, there was no SECURITY present which is what I signed for. So it was all bad. The communication with this place is no good they take forever to respond back but when it comes to your money best believe you'll be hearing from them. This left a real sour taste in our mouths because we were really looking foward to it. We decided to have our reception here because it gave us Vegas club vibes with the loud speakers and lighting. It had everything that we needed and wanted. But when it came to our first dance ect. I was the one turning the lights off. We had white lights flashing all night instead of colorful lighting for the dance floor really ridiculous and her response was " im not a light technician " but yet she carrys a ipad to control lighting very snotty lady. We have taken tap, contemporary, ballet, and Aerial silks. My girls have been taking ballet with Ms. Victoria this season and I really appreciate her teaching style. She is very attentive to their form and body posture and technique, yet does it in a fun and gentle way. She doesn't allow them to get away without a pointed foot! I really feel that their ballet technique will improve thanks to her guidance. My girls also take aerial silks with Ms Tiffany. I cannot say enough about this wonderful teacher. She is passionate about Aerial and my girls absolutely love her class! She's a great teacher because she actually demonstrates the moves, guides the students when they need direction or instruction, and is always very attentive to their safety. As a mother, I appreciate that the most! Aerial can be a daunting sport to start, but she makes it fun and is very encouraging to help them try new moves. My girls are advancing quickly thanks to her direction and leadership. I'm grateful to Ms Rachel, Ms Maribel and the rest of the admin team who works tirelessly in the background. Whether that is helping you with registration, getting costumes arranged for shows and photoshoots, and/or helping you with make-up lessons, they are accommodating and always very helpful when you email them. Lastly, I just have to talk about their Nutcracker performance. It is absolutely stunning! They do their holiday Nutcracker show to a live orchestra and it is and incredible experience for your dancer to be part of such a beautiful production. It is well choreographed, the costumes are superb, and the entire artistry of the show is well put together. They work very hard on this performance and it really shows. The kids look forward to it every season and it is a joy to watch from the audience. Thank you Ms. Rachel for creating a studio to carry on the passion of dance to our next generation. Strong Dance is located in a strip mall on Walker Street in Cypress. There's plenty of free lot parking nearby. When you walk in, you'll most likely be greeted by a friendly person at the desk just to the left. The studio itself is deceivingly large. There are a few dance rooms and TONS of sitting room for parents and siblings. It's clean. And tastefully decorated with large framed black and white photos of their students with their dance biographies. Our daughter brought her own jazz shoes, but the studio also had some available for the girls to borrow. Ms. Esther was our troop's patient and enthusiastic instructor. All the girls seemed to enjoy her style of teaching. If we didn't live quite so far away, this would be a spectacular place for our daughters to learn and grow!
