    Animal Kingdom Starbucks mug
    Joann V.

4 stars I've been to all the Starbucks in all 4 parks and this one has to be the friendliest and fastest one. Of course, my mom and I couldn't resist morning coffees and their park-specific Starbucks' collectible mug! The mug was a gorgeous forest-y green with gold metallic accents...just darling. The coffee orders were made well and they gave a lot of ice waters. None of the foods really appealed to us but, if I remember correctly, they had some 50th anniversary cupcakes available there. Drinks were about $1 more than if you were to purchase outside the Disney bubble.

    50th Celebration Micky Mouse Dome

Despite the name, this is essentially serves as a Starbucks with a little extra. There is a central line that leads up to the registers. Right before you head of to an available register, you can grab some prepackaged desserts and snacks. During our February 2023 visit, my friend and I ordered the 50th Celebration Micky Mousse Dome. It's a Chocolate Brownie Base with Gold-dusted Chocolate Sprinkles, and a Birthday Cake-flavored Mousse with Gold-dusted Mickey Ears and a Gold-dusted 50th Anniversary Medallion. It tasted good and looked pretty, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. You can pay using your Starbucks app at this location. It was also super busy with everyone trying to get some caffeine to get them through the rest of the day.

Super cute Starbucks coffee shop location in animal kingdom park. I got my typical Starbucks refresher drink and my boyfriend got his cold brew coffee. They have a bunch of popular Starbucks drinks but not the full menu (but pretty close!). We shared this chocolate mousse dessert and it was excellent! Line was long but socially distant and moved quickly. There's a few tables right outside of the store that you can grab to eat / drink at.

    07.15.19 Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino®

A fully-functioning Starbucks! Got my usual Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino flavor in this cafe/bakery. The lines were long as to be expected on a hot day. This is a counter service shop that serves Starbucks specialty drinks as well as artisan breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and house-made Disney pastries and baked goods (cookies, cupcakes, etc). It is located in Discovery Island, just next to the land of Africa. We wouldn't have known it was a coffee shop until we saw the Starbucks name under the store name. To me "Creature Comforts" just doesn't sound like a place that served food. They should rename it to something more appropriate like "Animal Kingdom Starbucks" that way when we look at the busy park map the title sticks out. Wouldn't you agree? Anyway, that's just my opinion. We collected reward points with our purchases like a normal Starbucks, but we couldn't redeem our free drinks from our completed rewards card through their loyalty program at any of the Walt Disney World location. Boo! There are restrooms, baby care center, First Aid near the coffee shop. Review #1452

Quad shot iced venti macchiato and sitting in the shade - yes!!!
    Lorie L.

Starbucks snack credit - yes, yes, yes! This was one of our favorite hours of the day in Animal Kingdom. My kids found a shaded table right outside the door and we enjoyed downtime after a busy morning in Pandora. The line was short, moved quickly and the team produced a perfect drink. My kids also enjoyed a fresh blueberry muffin and cake pop. This shop is near restrooms, baby station and the discovery trail around the Tree of Life.

    Brownie bottom with pumpkin cheesecake
    Britt D.

Not bad for a Starbucks. I don't go h less we are in the parks and they have a fun dessert. This time, I needed some caffeine and this pumpkin cheese cake brownie concoction. It. Was. Amazing. The cheesecake brownies are in the front before you go to a register, so be sure to grab one there before you order a drink (if you are ordering a drink) With the social distancing, it can be awkward to keep everyone apart but the cast is doing their best. There's some weird dots to stand on while you wait for your coffees and no on really seems to follow those. Overall it's a great location with seasonal snacks and chain coffee

    Kristi L.

Surprise! It's a Starbucks. I'm actually grateful this is in AK, because sometimes you just need a reliable caffeine fix. I wish there were indoor seating here, but there are a couple tables out front. Still, in the Florida heat and humidity, that's no consolation. If you want to rest your weary feet in A/C, the closest place I can think of is Satu'Li in Pandora. This location has four registers and two lines, which move much, much faster than the Starbucks on Main Street in Magic Kingdom and never get as long. While your order is taken very quickly, there is still only one pickup area per side (the two lines diverge left and right). I've waited about two minutes before and then around eight minutes for my drinks. It really depends on the hustle behind the counter. If you want ice water, there are two dispensers along the left wall with small plastic cups. I'm a little iffy on these, however, because a lady took the top off of one and dipped her whole cup in to get some of the ice out right in front of me. Super disgusting and rude. If you ask the cashier for water, they will direct you to the dispenser, even if you ask for a normal-sized cup. Anyway, I love that the SB inside Disney are real and not the "we proudly serve" locations you find in Busch Gardens. This means you can pay with your SB app and earn stars. That said, the purchases don't always count toward any SB games going on (hopscotch, bingo, etc.) If you need a caffeine fix, a sweet or savory treat, or a sugar bomb drink, this is the place to go.

Valentine cupcake was super cute and very tasty

We tried the cute valentines treats here. Cupcake was good but the brownie was not that great. Weird tasting dome on top of the brownie.

Got their Mickey mousse cupcake and it was delicious! And pretty if you want IG opp!

Small, but cute little gift shop. I love the wooden animals they have as decor inside this shop. Plushes, t-shirts, autograph books, toys, etc. can be found here. There's a little something for those of all ages to be found here, but not a lot of any one thing for a particular age group. Mostly just the usual you'll find in any of the smaller Disney gift shops; although, they do have some items here which are unique to The Animal Kingdom.

    Same quality and prices.
    Cris T.

Everything you expect from a Starbucks plus the "comfort" of rustic wooden chairs that are perfect for resting your legs after standing in line for more than 2 hours at Pandora. Also, get a free cup of iced water with your order and avoid overpriced Disney water bottles. What is not to like about this place?

    Jennifer H.

Creature Comforts is the Starbucks location in Animal Kingdom. They have it going on! The line moved quick. Everyone was nice and my order came out quickly. Get a Mickey Cinnamon Roll! It is HUGE!

This has been on my must-try list every time we've visited Disney Springs, but the line is usually…read more30-45 minutes long. I've always wondered if these cookies could really be that good. After finally trying them...I'd say they're absolutely worth the wait. Luckily, we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and only waited about five minutes. It was scorching hot outside, but they have umbrellas every few feet along the line, which definitely helps. I had always imagined walking into a large bakery or café where you could sit down with a cookie and coffee. Instead, it's actually a tiny, dark, whimsical shop with a queue that wraps around to the displays. It almost feels like you're walking through a Harry Potter-inspired attraction with its gothic décor and old-world bakery vibe. Despite the small space, they have three checkout registers, so once you're inside, the line moves surprisingly fast. One tip for first-time visitors: don't rely on the cookie menu on the website. Many of those flavors are seasonal or limited editions. The menu card they hand you while you're waiting in line shows the flavors available that day, so decide what you want before you get to the register because ordering is pretty quick. Now for the cookies... Banana Bread Chocolate Chip - 20/10 Without question, the standout. It tasted like warm, homemade banana bread with added chocolate transformed into a giant cookie. Soft, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I would come back just for this cookie. Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip - 8/10 A delicious combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, and gooey. I can definitely see why it's one of their most popular flavors, but the banana bread still stole the show for me. Cookies & Cream - 5/10 It was just okay. Very rich and sweet, like a giant Oreo cookie but it didn't have the depth of flavor or uniqueness of the other two. I probably wouldn't order it again. The cookies are huge and easily shareable. The funniest part? My son bought an extra cookie to take home for his girlfriend...but after one bite, he decided to keep it for himself! And that's saying something because he's really into health and fitness and rarely eats sweets. If you're wondering whether Gideon's lives up to the hype, I'd say yes. The wait is worth it, and the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip completely stole the show. It's the cookie I'll be thinking about long after this trip.

Everyone wanted the Cookies & Cream cookie, so I ordered three of those, plus a Chocolate Chip and a Coffee Cake cookie. Since we were on a tight schedule, we grabbed our order and hurried to the car. That's when we realized we'd been given three Double Chocolate Chip cookies instead of the three Cookies & Cream cookies we ordered. The register and receipt both showed Cookies & Cream, so I know my order was taken correctly. I do wish I had checked the bag before leaving, but I assumed everything was right. The cookies themselves are good--the chocolate cookies are loaded with chocolate chips, and the Coffee Cake cookie is absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend that one. That said, these cookies aren't inexpensive, so it's really disappointing to pay that much and not receive what you actually ordered. Unfortunately, that experience is why I'm giving only one star.

We ordered the Quiche Lorraine, filled with ham and Gruyere cheese which they warmed up before serving. The buttery, flaky crust gave way to a rich, silky custard that was packed with savory flavor. The Gruyere added a wonderful nutty depth while the ham brought just the right amount of saltiness to balance everything out. For dessert, we shared the Raspberry Macaron with Lime Cream. The macaron shells had a delicate crisp exterior with a soft, chewy center, while the filling delivered a bright combination of tart raspberry and refreshing lime. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, allowing the fruit flavors to really shine. It was a light, refreshing finish after the richness of the quiche. This bakery delivers on both quality and flavor. I wasn't offered any milk or sugar and luckily I saw some sugar at the outside table but, didn't have any creamer options. There was no coffee station. I got a chocolate croissant to-go, and having been to France, it was on point. Here's the issue, and I hope the owners fix this. At 10:45am it was busy. This place is small!!!! Very French right? lol. I was patient. I waited in a long line and finally ordered with a smile. I got the croissant and cappuccino "for here" and the croissant "to go." I saw there were no open tables except for the 2 outside and today in FL, we are just coming off the freeze and it's 40 degrees out. I used the restroom and as I came back, a table was about to open. I stood at the counter and I believe the owner ( not the woman who took my order) asked me if my coffee and food was "to go." I said, " no just the croissant, my food and coffee are for here." So now by this time other people have ordered and he is just now prepping my cappuccino "for here." Now, this isn't his fault but, because of the lack of space, it creates a hostile environment. I turn around and see the long order line and a couple that stood up to leave. So I walk over to take the "now open" table and I kid you not, a woman jumped in front of me, hands out and says, " can i take this table?" She hadn't even ordered yet and had she not been so rude, I guarantee I would have been done eating by the time she even got food. She was in the back of the line. I just said, " sure" and spun on my heel and went back to the counter. Maybe I should have said "no, I was here first" but I don't like hostility. Everyone can hear and see this happening, as it's a small, quiet place. I guess when you're alone, people don't value you as a person. Same with flights and theaters. I get back to the counter, and I ask him if I should sit down ...or do I wait at the counter for my food...? And he looked at me and was like "well there aren't any tables", at that moment, another table opens up and another single woman snags it! Hasn't even ordered! Then he says, "well there's one outside." I decide to take my now delivered coffee and sit outside. It made my coffee cold almost instantly so, I grab a sugar packet, toss it in, and chug it back. I walk in, and I then say "excuse me, could you just make my order to go?" He says yes, and a few minutes later I get my order and leave. I had to drive 25 mins to get home but, I WILL say it was still good! Even the "to-go" box is plant based and biodegradable. My ADVICE!!!! And I hope you take it! Get rid of the tables. You can have 2 outside, that's fine, but you'd be better off with a bar setting with stools all around the perimeter and a coffee station for additional things like creamer, sugar and cinnamon. This needs to be more of a grab and go place and even some Starbucks locations have implemented this. Make it friendly for single people, not families. Bar seating inspires quick service. Thank you! Merci!

We also enjoyed our selections on the to go side on two more separate occasions this trip. If, I'm being serious and honest I must say that the price for a slice of cake for the quality is not quite on point. I found that the frosting seemed to be heavy on whipping cream. We both agreed that the cake was a little on the dry side. Most importantly, we did not finish the whole slice of cake, both of us complained how our stomachs seemed upset. Coconut lover here! My kids loved it just as much as I did, which means it's great! It's one of those simple desserts that somehow becomes a core Disney memory. The bakery itself had a line but moved very quickly as they had select items on the menu. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular at EPCOT, this spot is a must. A perfect little treat for a sweet Disney day. Highly recommend!

I do understand that overtime menu items change, but would argue they should change for the better and not get worse. Our "go-to" in the past was their awesome pretzel that was a sweet pretzel with toasted almonds. This was soft and basically a perfect treat. On this visit, I was informed they no longer had it and the sweet pretzel had raisins and some chocolate drizzled on it. So, we did try it. This pretzel was a total disappointment. It was hard, almost as if it was stale and very chewy. The taste was very blah and basically not appetizing at all. We shared it and at the end felt we should have taken it back and asked for a refund. Cost was higher, for something that was kind of "bad" for Disney expectations. We did also try the school bread, which also was not great, not a soft pastry and also not fresh tasting. I don't have a comparison, as I ordered this as to try two items since I wasn't sure we would like the pretzel. The overall building was clean and there were adequate seats. Needless to say, until the previous quality returns at this location, we will look toward other venues and not visit this one again.

Overall, it kind of felt like walking into a bakery warehouse rather than a shop. I ordered a classic Sprinkle cupcake for myself and wanted to get a single pup cake, but for some reason that was only available as a three-pack, so I decided I'd treat the dogs in my family, too. My order was ready quickly and the person who handed it over was very nice. I wanted to enjoy the weather and my cupcake, so I sat at one of the tables outside and dug in. My cupcake was a little on the dry side but good overall -- the flavors were there, especially in the frosting. I also felt like it was a good size, but I'm admittedly the type of person who isn't a fan of giant "oversized" desserts. And I do think the price is pretty fair, especially by Mickey's standards. The pup cakes? Well, they were devoured by three pups as soon as they came out of the box, but alas, the dogs wouldn't give me a review beyond that.

This year for some reason it was 2 cupcakes for the birthday gift which was great! I was also able to redeem my cupcakes after my birthday too. Their cupcakes are generally pretty good. I find the cupcake part to be pretty moist on the day of. Don't put the cupcake in the fridge because it will dry it out. I usually get the red velvet. I also tried a vanilla one and thought it was good too. I did order ahead and came like 10-15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. I did have to ask where my cupcakes were but they had them ready in the back.
